It is not just ephesians 2:8-9 and then all stop.. No That's not the full story. Its is Ephesians 2:8-10 includes the disciples of Jesus going about doing the good works of righteousness as part of their daily walk of discipleship to follow the Son of God they had to do the things that the Lord had showed them to do by his teachings and his example he had set before them to follow..The Lord didn't condemn those who kept his Father's Commandments as he said to the Rich Young man what are the commandments? and Jesus listed them and the rich young man replied that he was keeping them from his youth up, and the Lord loved him for it and said to him but one thing thou lackest go and sell thy posessions and come and follow me. Matt 19: 18-21;Luke 18:19-22; Mark 10:19-21. The Lord never done away with the commandments, or done away with the
prophets or the law for he bridged it. He bridged the law between Love God with all thy might, mind and strength, (Tower 1) on one end and on the other end Love Thy Neighbour as Thyself. (Tower 2) and in between the two towers hangs all the law and the prophets.....For Jesus did not come to destroy the law nor the prophets but to fulfill every whit and to bridge the gap of the law making it now possible for his disciples to keep the law and to be sanctified by his grace in keeping the commandments of God in our lives because of his atoning sacrifice makes that possible. So Jesus acts as the bridge to help us with his enabling power of grace to be able to live the commandments of God in our lives to be sanctified before him to walk with him in and with his Father in righteousness and holiness through the gift and power of the Holy Ghost.. You also have the parable of the ten wise and foolish virgins. Those who were wise had prepared themselves to do their Father's Will to meet their Father's Conditions in order to live with their Father in his House and those who didn't do his Father's will even though both the wise and the foolish virgins had been invited to prepare themselves for the wedding of his Only Begotten Son Jesus... Who got blessed?, those who knew the Lord and prepared themselves to fill up their lamps with oil and arise and put on their beautiful garments (isaiah) and go out and meet with the Bridegroom all dressed and ready to enter in with the Lord into the marriage feast (the second coming) or the wicked who knew the Lord and didnt do the things that the Lord had commanded and turned up at the marriage feast with no oil in their lamps no wedding garments and ignored the Lord and gave instead him just lip service.
Who do you think he accepted into his Father's Kingdom? Well it wasn't all the foolish virgins who had believed in him without preparing themselves. For They were
rejected and cast out from the marriage feast by the Lord Himself who also said to them, I KNOW YE NOT.
You also have the parable of the wise man and the foolish man. The wise man kept all the sayings and teachings of Jesus he lived them in his life. Because the wise virgins knew that nobody gets access to the tree of life if they don't do his commandments (Rev 22: 14) But The foolish man just read about his sayings and teachings (being a hearer only and not a doer) and didin't apply them into his own life..And went about instead preaching the word to others without practicing.... The foolish man was not blessed because he did not do them. Just as the man who buried his talent down in the sand was also not blessed by the Lord for doing nothing but believing in the Lord without doing whom the Lord said was a wicked and slothful servant for failure to keep his lord's commandments. Furthermore the Lord said in Revelations: 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord, for their works do follow them' Rev 14:12-13 So righteous good works are involved in a righteous disciple's life in order to follow the Lord if you are a disciple of the Lord then you will do his Father's Commandments instead of just being only just a hearer.. OR YOU ARE NOT RIGHTEOUS if you don't do the righteous works because you think that the righteous works of the Lord are as fitlhy rags to you the Lord has this to say to such individuals who trust in their own self-righteousness instead of doing the things their Lord tells them to do, 'Why call ye me Lord, Lord when ye do not the things which I say?' he said elsewhere in scripture. The Lord also said those who keep not his sayings and teachings in their lives are foolish and are not wise so the Lord left plenty of clues of why its important to not have dead faith being alone.
So Who was justified? the foolish man who are hearers only who didn't do his father's will or the wise man who hear and did his Father's Will? Whose house got washed away? Who was cast off out of the Lord's presence the wise virgins who had oil in their lamps and had prepared themselves carefully and wisely to meet with the Bridegroom? or was it all the foolish virgins who didn't do anything to prepare themselves and they also believed in the Lord just as the wise did. The difference is all the foolish virgins were not ready or prepared when the Bridegroom had suddenly showed up and found they were not ready to enter with him into the marriage feast...

@@germanslice No, He fulfilled the law; scripture makes this abundantly clear. You absolutely cannot keep the law. If you say you keep the law and sin not, you're a liar and the truth is not in you.
You break the commandments every single day. Don't try to tell me you don't lust after someone else's wife, lie, covet, etc. etc. You're a liar if you claim otherwise.
If you want to go back and put yourself under the Abrahamic law, be my guest, but you will fail. Good luck with that:)

    • @germanslice
      @germanslice 19 дней назад

@@Mazwizard54 Your interpretation of the scriptures is not even correct. You think we keep the law on own efforts alone without relying on the enabling power of God? Nope that's is not correct. We cannot keep the law without also relying on God's enabling power
in our lives. Revelations 3:21 tells us that the saints of God are to learn to be overcomers the same as Christ overcame all things, the saints are also to do the same to get their thrones the same as Christ had also done to get his throne from the Father.
So you don't see the big picture. Neither do you acknowledge the role of the Holy Ghost in our Lives to purge us of sin in order to overcome all things as Christ had commanded.

Paul said in Galatians…”Are ye so foolish…having begun in the Spirit…are ye now made perfect by the flesh? Yes….God does not want us to practice or habitually commit sin…but because we are still in this body of flesh we commit sin everyday! As Luther said “Both righteous and sinner at the same time!” If we confess our sin He is faithful and just to forgive us our sin…AND TO CLEANSE US FROM ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS!” 1 John 1:9 The blood of Jesus is constantly cleansing us every day of all sin..even sin we’re not aware of! Romans 4:8 “Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin!” Why? Because Jesus has taken care of our sin..past…present…and future! Does that give us license to purposely live in..or practice sin! Never!

What is the most important thing in the world? How to be saved and go to Heaven. Believe on Jesus Christ(who is God and Lord). Believe(accept it is true) that Jesus Christ alone will save you(save means eternal life in Heaven). Have faith(Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance/certainty about what we do not see) and trust(confidently rely on/depend on something being true) in Jesus alone to save you. You can also be saved if you believe and trust that Jesus died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day. This is according to the scriptures and for the justification(to make right/forgive) of all your sins.

This is how we know it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.
20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.

22 Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist-denying the Father and the Son.

In works based salvation, the focus is always on “ I “… in salvation by grace through faith in Christ alone the focus is always on the Lord Jesus Christ. It is he who redeems it is he who forgives it is he who saves. There is nothing that I as a person can do any so-called works that I do nothing, pathetic attempts. When we believe that our works can compete against the blood of Christ we are guilty of blasphemy. Therefore I will say it again we are saved by Grace through faith in Christ alone without works in Jesus name.

"Works based salvation" is a phrase created for the purpose of trying to justify disobedience.
Plus, the people who use it have to be mind readers.
How else can they know WHY someone obeys anything?
Throughout the NT the idea of "obedience" is regularly discussed. The question is "who is a person obeying?"
There are only 2 kinds of religious observance.
There are the Feasts of YHVH, that are the prophetic shadows of the Messiah, and there are pagan feasts that were renamed to make them appear to be about Jesus.
Jesus' Father gave us Feasts that honor his Son. They are the weekly Sabbath, Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, Shavu'ot, Yom Teruah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot. ALL of those feasts are about Jesus. John 5:46. Luke 24:44
The Romans who hijacked Christianity don't want you to know that. It is how they are able to keep their power over the laity.
Sunday, Christmas and Easter honor Sol Invictus and Ishtar.
Jesus' Father made appointed times for us to spend time with him.
Choosing to replace them with pagan holidays is WHY The Father doesn't know those who do them.
Sunday, Christmas and Easter are all inventions of the Roman church. Obeying them is serving them.
      Romans 6:15-16

Believing on the Lord Jesus Christ is not merely believing that He exists.
It's believing in what He stands for which is obedience to the Father which means repenting (turning away from) all sin living a Godly life and thereby being pleasing unto the father in Heaven.
Believing in Jesus means repentance and repentance is a requirement of salvation.
So the moral is that there's a difference between works and repentance.
Works aren't a requirement of salvation but repentance is.
Faith without works is dead but a love for the Lord and repentance will produce works, not that we are saved by works. We are saved by grace through faith, and that faith brings about both repentance and works.

We are known by our fruits. Actions speak louder than words. We can profess our faith all day long, but until we act the part, it is like filthy rags. In other words, we must practice what we preach. Faith without works is dead.
James 2:14-26 [What use is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone says he has faith, but he has no works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? In the same way, faith also, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself. But someone [m]may well say, “You have faith and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works.” You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder. But are you willing to acknowledge, you foolish person, that faith without works is useless? Was our father Abraham not justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar? You see that faith was working with his works, and [o]as a result of the works, faith was perfected; and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “And Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called a friend of God. You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone. In the same way, was Rahab the prostitute not justified by works also when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way? For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.]

The unsaved are only "in the flesh". When you are saved you have now two natures that battle against one another, you can walk after the flesh(sin) or after the Spirit. The contrast of these two natures are explained in Gal 5:16-23 and Romans 7.

    • @maximusvonce1381
      @maximusvonce1381 18 дней назад

@@ECLECTRIC_EDITSExcellent explanation Oronato. Works salvation heretics cannot be saved cause if you believe Salvation is CONTINGENT on works than you have just NEGATED salvation by grace, and if you believe Salvation is CONTIGENT on faith, then you have just negated salvation by works.
So essentially works salvation heretics are contradicting themselves cause they believe salvation is conditional on how you live, although they cant tell you exactly at what point a person no longer becomes saved, or at what point does a believer know they are saved, so works salvation heretics are not saved cause they are basing salvation on conditions, but they cannot tell you at what point in time how many broken conditions it takes to lose salvation.
The problem is the works salvation heretics are playing a guessing game with eternal salvation cause they really dont know if they are even saved themselves cause to them salvation is something that must be earned, so none of them actually know if they are even saved cause their salvation is completely dependent on their performance and not the finished work of Christ. Its getting complicated now and i am tired but i hope i was able to put into layman's terms what Oronato just laid out.

You cannot be saved believing in works based salvation, just like you cannot be unsaved believing in Grace through faith salvation. They are at odds with each other, so if you say you are saved and believe in works based salvation then you are living under the law, and since its impossible to keep the law you will not be justified in front of the Father. Now if you believe you are entirely justified by faith and not works lest any man should boast, then you are completely relying on the finished work of Christ and are truly saved. Again, you cannot be saved believing salvation is contigent on works in any way. Works based salvation is at odds with the finished work of Christ on the cross. Excellent Oronato.

Only a perfect human being like Lord Jesus Christ was able to keep the law.

Excellent explanation Oronato. The problem is the works salvation heretics are playing a guessing game with eternal salvation cause they really dont know if they are even saved themselves cause to them salvation is something that must be earned, so none of them actually know if they are even saved cause their salvation is completely dependent on their performance and not the finished wo
rk of Christ. Its getting complicated now and i am tired but i hope i was able to put into layman's terms what Oronato just laid out.

    New International Version
17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring-those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.
