Jumpted to a lot of conclusions.
Turned from gospel ? Were did it say that. Landed in hell? You inserted that in text. Not very honest. Some translations say "barely escaping" another on "point of escape" that would support they were always Dogs and pigs are both unclean animals, unregenerate.
Not sure its as hard and fast as you think.

James 2 speaking of faith without works is dead. (Believing alone isn’t enough, even the demons believe). James 5 also mentions bringing back a straying brother. If a follower of Christ couldn’t stray they wouldn’t need brought back.
The need for repentance is also very real! If one is “saved”…. They must live faithfully unto death to receive the crown of life Rev 2:10.
Must love God and live for Him. If you live for self, one could be saved and live a very sinful life- plenty of verses in NT showing if you sin you shall not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. You must keep on keeping on until the day of physical death. “Once saved always saved” is nowhere in scripture

I ask that you get a dictionary and look up the word eternal, the word never, the word forever. You are doing the same thing this man is, interpreting the words of Jesus who is God by scriptures that were written by others that were inspired by him. Do you really think Jesus would say one thing and use someone else to refute what he said? 1 John 5:20 says Jesus is the true God, and eternal life. 1 John 5:10-11 He that believes on the Son of God has the witness in himself: he that believes not God has made him a liar, because he believes not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God has given us partial life, no he has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. The problem is as it says in 2 Peter 3:16 As in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable twist or distort, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. This man does not understand the scriptures any better than you, I would urge you to read what Jesus has said in the gospel of John and use his own words to interpret the scriptures according to his words, he is God. Read the word without a religious or denominational lens, and just let the word of God speak to you. Praying for your putting on Christ, remember circumcision means nothing nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

So…. I can continue sinning willfully on a daily basis and get the heaven? Hebrews 10:26. Matthew 7. I encourage you to read Colossians ch 3. Press toward that goal. In most of the Apostle Paul’s writings he said he had not obtained it yet, but keep living for Christ.

You're teaching a false gospel of works, and works cannot save anyone, stop relying on your performance and believe Gods word for justification. Jesus Christ is the Savior of man not your works of righteousness. Romans 6:23 The payment for sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, not your behavior.

Get it, right sir, Peter is talking about FALSE Prophets, not Believers, this is why He and other Apostles were constantly Warning the Believers about Unbelievers who pretend to be believers with them, Get the Context friend, Context....
    2 Peter 2:1
    King James Version
1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

That does not make sense when you say can we lose a “eternal salvation”. Christ said it was “eternal” salvation, not temporary salvation that he offered and he said it many times, John 3:15-16, John 4:10, 5:24, John 6:40,51 . John 6:47 is written grammatically in present tense possession, of a life offered “with out end”, and according to the verse I can have it the second I trust Christ for it, how long ? Without ending Christ says ….So if I have this everlasting life today but somehow not next month it was not eternal to start with was it.. So Christ could not have used the word everlasting if I am to trust your interpretation…. But Christ did not use the temporary did he …It’s what you are saying he should have used, by inserting the 2 Peter verses. So if we believe your understanding Christ was lying about it being everlasting, and so was the writer of John because he said the exact same thing in John 3:36. Ok you use 2 Peter 2:20-21 to back up your claim, and yes this sounds like you can lose something “everlasting”. But is that what the 2 verses are teaching? Or should we read the whole chapter to make it make sense ? When reading 2 Peter 2 ,as well better include 1 Peter also , so that the 2 verses can make sense .. So who is Peter referring to ? Back up to verse 18, Peter is speaking about false teachers that were enticing those just escaping from error and entered the church. …Sounds like baby Christians to me …. They heard and understood the gospel of Jesus Christ however the Bible is very clear that intellectual knowledge is not the same as saving faith (James 2:19), James goes on to say in 2:23, that Abraham believed God an it was counted as righteousness. Just like in John 6:47 to obtain a everlasting life. But let’s continue if these “believers”as you say can lose a salvation that never ends why would 1:peter 1:5 say believers kept by the power of God ? You are saying they are not kept…. Verse 3 says God “Hath” begotten us, verse 4 to an inheritance, I guess you got to believe that Christ takes you out of the will also , but he says we are kept, so your explanation can not be accurate can it. You need to pray about this and be careful what you are teaching because you are teaching error..

    • @timewiththebible9839

No, Jesus didn’t lie. The life is eternal, but our participation is that life may or may not be eternal. For instance, in 1 John 5:11-12 says “And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” The life is eternal. The life is with the Son. The life continues. But our participation in that life may or may not continue depending on if we still have the Son. Hebrews is a good book to show this. The main point is that there are all these things that are greater in the Christ (like a greater sacrifice), but that section ends with the warning to these Hebrew Christians that “if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment…” Hebrews 10:26-27. In other words, if they abandon Christ (by willfully returning to their life of sin) after they obey the gospel, they have abandoned the only sacrifice that can save them from God’s wrath.
Back to 2 Peter. You are right that most of the chapter is talking about false teachers, but this last section speaks of warnings to those who are being carried away with their deceptions and not necessarily the false teachers themselves (but it certainly would include them). For instance in vs. 19 he talks about “by whom a person is overcome and brought into bondage” which leads into our verses here in vs. 20-22. This section says nothing about intellectual knowledge, but these are Christians who have escaped corruption, but in following after these false teachers (even though they had once escaped) they are entangled in their sins once again and are lost.
There are passages all throughout the NT scriptures warning us not to abandon Christ, but to endure to the end. I have certainly prayed about it, but will continue. I would encourage you to consider some of these things. God bless.

It is impossible Grammatically to make it say what you are saying. John 6:47, and John 3:36, Hath = present tense (possession) of (Everlasting life) which means without ending.

They heard and understood the gospel of Jesus Christ however is not the same as saving faith . they were not truly born again regenerated. otherwose why those who backslidden , are restored by God and they turn from their cold spiritually state to jesus and his word once again and God brings revival in thei lives? bcz they cant lose salvation. they cant be born again and unborn again. sealed and unsealed with the HS. they may lose their rewards but still make it to heaven barely. thats why it says they wont inherit the kingdom of God. they wont enjoy the blessings and the privileges of the kingdom but they will be citizens of heaven,

Horrible horrible teaching. No, the Bible does not say anywhere that we can lose salvation. You really think you can lose what God has given you?
2 Peter 2 doesn’t say that you can lose salvation. Goodness… brother really?
He’s referring to people who learn about Jesus and even walk in His ways but then get entangled back into the sinful world. It’s referring to someone who never had a personal relationship with Jesus to begin with.
Learning about Jesus and even doing what He says doesn’t save someone. Salvation comes to those who go to Jesus with their heart in their hands, repenting and denying themselves, and trusting that Jesus’ life and work on the cross paid for their sins.

Really. These are people who have escaped the polutionsof the world, knew the way of righteousness, but turned back to wallow in their past lives. I don't see anywhere in there that says these people “never had a personal relationship with Jesus.” That's a fable. There are plenty of passages that warn about turning our back on Jesus after receiving him and there turning our back on eternal life.
Curious who you would say that the book of Hebrews was written to? And why did the writer warn them about “casting away confidence which has great reward,” needing “endurance, so that after they have done the will of God, they may receive the promise” and not “drawing back to perdition” but continue to believe encouraged them to the saving of their soul (Hebrews 10:35-39)?
