I just finished making my blanket. It turned out so beautiful. Your pattern was very well written and easy to follow. I’m excited to have it out this Christmas season.
Very nice! I know you said Impeccable yarn by Loops and Threads, colors putty, forest green and cherry red, but Michaek's does not list a "cherry" red as a choice. Perhaps, I misunderstood?
Hi, I got kind of lost after you did the three singles in the corner where you started crocheting down the side to cover the loose ends. I wish you would have slowed down n explain where exactly you placed your stitches. I'm not too clear on that part. You work too fast. Darn.
Every row of Vs will have 2 single crochets each as you go up the side. So 2 scs for each green row, 2 scs for each putty row, and 2 scs for each red row. As far as placement goes I just placed the stitches underneath/around the last double crochet/turning chain of the row. In the gap that’s there between the last v and the last double crochet. Hope that makes sense! Also, I uploaded a short that shows me crocheting up the sides that might help. You might try watching that to see if it clears things up a bit.
@Mary Wegrzyn, try adjusting the speed by tapping the screen then tap the sprocket looking icon in the right upper corner. Pick a slower speed (those marked above the normal) that maybe works better for you. Of course I always have to turn down the volume because it sounds distracting. It would help a bit if the yarn color didn't blend into the table so much, makes it difficult to follow.

Yes, what Kathy said. It’s between a G and H hook. 4.5mm
What brand and colors did you use?
Loops and Threads Impeccable from Michael’s in Forest, Putty, and Cherry.
I’m not familiar with this holiday blanket, it would have been nice to see what the new stitch looked like in the blanket and not just in the swatch!
I have pictures of it posted on both my Facebook and Instagram accounts.
There is a link in the description to the pattern in Etsy that shows a full size blanket
