Great video Alice, with the best "guide"...!!!
You have inspired me to do this hike with my wife and our own yellow Lab. We only live about 45 minutes from the trail head!:)))
Thats so wonderful. It sure is a pretty overlook from the mine.
Thanks for the redo :). Interesting facts about the mine!
Thanks for a great video and awesome lab!
Thanks for posting this
great video again Alice
Great video! Very beautiful dog you have, as well. We have a little Poochon that we adopted from birth last spring (also named Louie!). We hope to return to that area of California next year to finish our grand tour of the Western US states.
I love the views. Thankyou!!!
I appreciate your efforts to show others where nice hikes are. My favorite areas to hike are in the Sierras; too bad I live in South Carolina!
Nice hike, Iv'e been there. Enjoyed watching.
Amazing views, love the drone footage :)
Thanks so much!
Did you explore the mine? I live in the southbay 310 area and have only visited Wrightwood in the winter never knew about this place. Your dog drinking water from the fall was awesome to see 3:50
PyRoTECniQues I didn’t get to explore the mine this time as Louie wasn’t able to make it up the wooden plank into the mine shaft and I didn’t want to carry him. But I hope to go back and do a bit more exploring.
Another cool hike Alice. Thanks for the ideas. I'm in norcal but since my daughter relocated to San Diego we've been looking for places to hike to and will check this out. We camped at Mt Palomar State park last weekend and that was a cool area and I got to film a video about the Coulter Pines which I don't see up here. It's the pine with the huge cones and is common in the Angeles National forest. Always enjoy your videos!
That's great. yes those pine trees are really neat. Thanks for watching I will try to put up some more local hikes soon.
I live in Wrightwood and still haven’t done this hike. I must try it soon!
2nd best looking Yellow Lab ever.
Beautiful hills and bum kickin’ mine. Looks like a great day hike. My favorite hike in Idaho is definitely Sawtooth. Great video Alice, thanks for sharing your hike! 🤙🏻
Indeed
Hi Alice, nice hike and interesting lost place. Looks like there aren't many people up there ;-)

Question, I thought I heard you say that you will never go outside again without a hat so... I went out and bought one and I wear it all the time
Mike Bavoso Hi Mike you are correct! I am always wearing a hat or a visor. I just take it off to shoot, but I never leave home without one.
@@AliceFordAdventures ok! And the drinking of additional water each day is wonderful. Thank you!
I enjoyed this hike! I wish people didn't graffiti the place.
Enjoyed the video, but you need a wind filter on your microphone.
