Nice seeing the trail with snow and ice on it for a change. Every time I’ve gone up there to explore the mine, it’s been in the summertime. That first flooded tunnel you come to is the Fenner Tunnel. It goes straight in for about 200 feet and basically stops. There is some cool timbering in that tunnel. At the end of the tunnel there is an old, waterlogged wooden ladder that goes up to another area, but that’s basically a dead end and doesn’t go anywhere. The main Big Horn Mine is much more extensive and multi level. It’s also wet inside, too. Somewhat past where you stopped in the main mine is a large room that is full of wet, square square-set timbering which is kind of rare to see in these old mines. It seems that more and more of the main mine keeps collapsing every year thus making the explorable part smaller and smaller. Really enjoyed the background music in your video and the drone footage. Bravo! Nice job!
