I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other. Men and women think very differently from each other. It seems like it's impossible for men and women to emotionally connect with each other. Women do emotionally connect with other women, better than men do. Women can build incredible friendships and become very close to each other in a way men can't bond, and science shows that women can bond very well with each other. Generally, women are even more social than men are. After something bad happens, a woman quickly rushes to talk to all of her female friends to get support, whereas a man can isolate himself and grief alone.
I've had genuine feelings for one person that never felt the same way towards me, it was the most devastating thing at the time. But in retrospect, I realised that those feelings were better off being given to someone more deserving, someone who saw me in the same way i saw them. It's not the end of the world, it's just the end of that chapter, and moving on is the bravest thing you can do.

It has been about 1 year 1,5 years since she left me, her mother did not approve of me solely because of my skin color, this is going to sound like one of those cliches "Do not be racist and treat everyone fairly" we are all starting to get tired of but this was something I had never experienced before. I am a stand-up lad but getting into that relationship with her was selfish, it did not start off as a relationship where I loved the person I was with but it started off as a way to make myself feel better. I guess reading everyone down here in the comments talking about how they lost a loved one or got dumped inspired me to finally open up about this, and sometimes it takes a total stranger to open up to. Even though it was her mother who finally cut us off in the end it was bound to happen along the road, I was not ready for anything serious I just wanted to be loved. When you get into a relationship it is no longer about you, it is about the both of you and I had yet to realize that simple fact. Did I love her? Yes, I did, in the end, it hurt more like anything I could have imagined and more, took a time to get over a relationship that honestly was not even that long (Maybe 3 months) but she was the person my world revolved around for a long time and so it was the other way around, but we were both too young and I was certainly not ready for something serious. Niss if you are reading this (which I highly doubt) I want you to know that I do not blame you for anything that happened and that I do not blame you for going through with your mothers request to cut me off. I was scared of the attachment and scared of where it might have taken me. As for your mother, I'm sure she was only doing what she thought was right for you. It's been a year and half since we stopped talking and everything still reminds me of her. I love her so much still that it still hurts, there's so many strings attached to the feelings of her. We never went on a proper date because of covid but her energy helped me through some tough times. She left me when I felt down. She was everything I ever wanted and still is. I was writing my story and as I went through it one more time I sounded pathetic like the person I was two years ago. @arjunjs48 Thank you for asking I completely forgot about this comment I made. Basically, I've really improved in all aspects of my life. I've read lots of motivational books, got into the best shape of my life, learned to play guitar, started tutoring math, learned a new language (well am still learning it) got into a second martial art, made some money, and so on. I don't know what pushed me to keep going, maybe it was anger, or some twisted sense of vengefulness, trying to be better for her, but without her... I dunno man, now 1 year later I rewatched this video and I didn't feel a thing, except pride that I overcame my demons. I see that no matter how hard it may seem in the moment, whovever you are out there, you will get through whatever you're going through. Sadness is a great fuel, so use it until it is all gone and you are left to bear fruit of the new heights it has propelled you to.

Fell in love with a girl when I was in class VI and got badly humiliated and rejected on the last day of class X. I was devastated. After that I shifted to another school for finishing high school and met a girl, who I thought would help me to move on. I used to talk to her everyday and even shared my feelings about her. Her aunt was also the reason why she's fucked up because her aunt tried to steal her from her dad and caused his death then they took her in as their daughter and raised her in such horrible mental health condition (but they're wealthy).

I got ghosted in December 2019 then dumped in January 2020 after being 3 years into a relationship. The sudden rush of overwhelming emotions of pain, anger, sadness left deep scar in me. I believe being alone is better than being in a toxic relationship and that relationship could of any kind like family, friends or your partner. For a healthy life you need to be around people who acknowledge you, love you and guide you to the best they can.

Here comes the best thing, after a period of time, you start realising your worth, you slowly realise you can live without them and be happy without them, you realise that you had wrongly attached your happiness with someone else and you won't do that again ever in your life, you will work on yourself and make the best version of yourself. I've been rejected by someone whom I really like last week. She told me that she can never reciprocate the feelings that I have for her. And that really sucks. It makes me feel ugly and depressed. But I know most of the time the people that we like don't like us back. I do hope someday she'll be happy with someone whom she admires and loves.
Not trying to be a simp or a needy guy but I'd definitely love to experience something like this , not because of how good it would fulfill the ego but rather because I would like to feel some real love of someone. Having that thought that you are literally connected with her/him and you bond as one person. No having remorse or agony to talk about things you really feel.
Careful with this desire though, I was like this until my ex became my ex, she knew how to reel me in just as good as she knew when to destroy me, and she kept repeating this process because I didn't want to let go of the sweet person she was half the time .. when I finally had enough and left I was done. I ignore her calls, ignore her texts, she probably would be like this if I picked up. Trust me, you don't really want this, have your boundaries and protect your heart, the right one will come along and not try and break it. Someone who is worthy of your affection should never look this remorseful of how they treated you.

I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other. Men and women think very differently from each other. It seems like it's impossible for men and women to emotionally connect with each other.
Women do emotionally connect with other women, better than men do. Women can build incredible friendships and become very close to each other in a way men can't bond, and science shows that women can bond very well with each other. Generally, women are even more social than men are. After something bad happens, a woman quickly rushes to talk to all of her female friends to get support, whereas a man can isolate himself and grief alone.

I've had genuine feelings for one person that never felt the same way towards me, it was the most devastating thing at the time. But in retrospect, I realised that those feelings were better off being given to someone more deserving, someone who saw me in the same way i saw them. It's not the end of the world, it's just the end of that chapter, and moving on is the bravest thing you can do.

It has been about 1 year 1,5 years since she left me, her mother did not approve of me solely because of my skin color, this is going to sound like one of those cliches "Do not be racist and treat everyone fairly" we are all starting to get tired of but this was something I had never experienced before. I am a stand-up lad but getting into that relationship with her was selfish, it did not start off as a relationship where I loved the person I was with but it started off as a way to make myself feel better.
I guess reading everyone down here in the comments talking about how they lost a loved one or got dumped inspired me to finally open up about this, and sometimes it takes a total stranger to open up to.
Even though it was her mother who finally cut us off in the end it was bound to happen along the road, I was not ready for anything serious I just wanted to be loved. When you get into a relationship it is no longer about you, it is about the both of you and I had yet to realize that simple fact. Did I love her? Yes, I did, in the end, it hurt more like anything I could have imagined and more, took a time to get over a relationship that honestly was not even that long (Maybe 3 months) but she was the person my world revolved around for a long time and so it was the other way around, but we were both too young and I was certainly not ready for something serious.
Niss if you are reading this (which I highly doubt) I want you to know that I do not blame you for anything that happened and that I do not blame you for going through with your mothers request to cut me off. I was scared of the attachment and scared of where it might have taken me. As for your mother, I'm sure she was only doing what she thought was right for you. I also would like you to know that I am well and I hope you are too.

I've read lots of motivational books, got into the best shape of my life, learned to play guitar, started tutoring math, learned a new language (well am still learning it) got into a second martial art, made some money, and so on. I don't know what pushed me to keep going, maybe it was anger, or some twisted sense of vengefulness, trying to be better for her, but without her...

I got ghosted in December 2019 then dumped in January 2020 after being 3 years into a relationship. The sudden rush of overwhelming emotions of pain, anger, sadness left deep scar in me. When I try to move forward, I'm scared to get rejected and experience those horrible emotions again so I've confineded myself into a state where I grief in solitude as happiness is a luxury that has a string of sadness attached to it that I cannot afford.

@@senz7339 it took me 1yr to recover from relationship stuffs... Suddenly my best friend (15fucking years) left me for no reason.. I mean, i was shocked . Events were like one after another. So, I got the double shot . It was extremely painful.. Now, it doesn't matter whether someone leaves me Or not. . 😂. Time heals everything. When Human can deal with parent's death and recover from it then these things are nothing.. God bless you.. Now, I really laugh at people when they cry for their love. .

However, all you can do is accept this and wish them well. There isn’t an easy way to let go of feelings but there is a certain level of peace in knowing some decisions aren’t ours to make. While you can’t always control the cause, you can eventually manage the effect. Endings are common, painful, and necessary steps on our path. I’ve been there too and it’s always helped me in knowing many relationships aren’t meant to last forever. Wish her well, my friend. Move forward in knowing it’s the only path offered.

It's not her fault or not I don't know but I was always there waiting for her I told her not to give up and let's make it through together, we have been together for 4 years surviving but she gave up this year' and I can't move on from her, her memories our memories , it hurts so bad.
There are time where I will just get tears falling down my eyes often when I think about her it's just so difficult to forget someone u love so much....

I believe being alone is better than being in a toxic relationship and that relationship could of any kind like family, friends or your partner. For a healthy life you need to be around people who acknowledge you, love you and guide you to the best they can.

I was always the breadwinner even after I lost my job. Rather than take accountability for himself not being where he wanted to be he instead said I made him too comfortable.

Sometimes you meet people who you think are the best thing that happened to you and they mean the world to you but at the end, things don't work out the way you wanted them to and they leave. They vanish into thin air. That might be the worst phase of your life, you won't be able to control yourself, you'll be in an emotional roller coaster for a long time.
Here comes the best thing, after a period of time, you start realising your worth, you slowly realise you can live without them and be happy without them, you realise that you had wrongly attached your happiness with someone else and you won't do that again ever in your life, you will work on yourself and make the best version of yourself.

Careful with this desire though, I was like this until my ex became my ex, she knew how to reel me in just as good as she knew when to destroy me, and she kept repeating this process because I didn't want to let go of the sweet person she was half the time .. when I finally had enough and left I was done. I ignore her calls, ignore her texts, she probably would be like this if I picked up. Trust me, you don't really want this, have your boundaries and protect your heart, the right one will come along and not try and break it.
