I played and beat the game on normal mode last weekend with a friend in local co-op. It was our first time playing it, but we've also beaten the original both together and not. This game is really true to the original, plus it has a bunch of extras. The ending is perfect! P.S: Watch out for the ice cream trucks! The only item on their menu is death!
I'm still on the main menu for this game. I heard the menu music and gator shoes formed around my feet. I tried to take them off but my fingers won't stop snapping long enough. I had to type this with my nose and tongue. Please help.
I like the remixed menu theme but i'm so sad the steel-y riff that plays has taken a backseat to the bass :( (i have no clue what is used to make the music so pardon the "steel-y" i'm sure you know what i'm talking about if you compare the two songs)
There was Toejam and Earl 1 and 2 (Panic on Funkotron) on Sega in the 90’s, plus a sequel on X-Box. The second one was a 2-dimensional side scroller and the 3rd one was 3D@@y2commenter246

My new driving music.
Just got the soundtrack on vinyl, such a cool find.
Almost addicted to this soundtrack. One of my favorite games and soundtrack.
This is goooooooooood. Makes me feel like I'm back in the 90s.
dark level funk
It's too bad there wasn't a ToeJam & Earl game on the Sega Saturn. So many cool franchises ended on the Genesis.
the original Xbox had a game, I hear they kinda phoned in the funk on that one though.
:D
Right? Imagine if Sonic and Knuckles wasn't the last Sonic game! o_o
@@masterdisaster4405 The Xbox one was originally going to be a Dreamcast game
@@matthewlawton9241 Sonic & Knuckles pretty much was the last Sonic game
I don't think a modern console could handle the fatness of that bass.
Damn! That shit's so funky, it'll make you stop and say "Damn, that's funky!"
I funkin love it.
Next mission is to find all the pieces of the bassists exploded envelope filter, scattered across the earth
O😊

24:46 WAAAIT... Isn't the "Ohio Players - Love Rollercoaster"?
see, the problem with boomin bump in the remake is that it's all bump but no BOOM. the bass is great but they skimped on the kick drum

Someone needs to learn that "Refunkify" does not mean "completely obliterate the bassline by turning everything to 32nd notes."
