This one covers the brown variant, as well as the comparisons with the grey, and also other Carnotauruses I have!

i thought id really like this model, but i think im gonna pass. it doesnt do anything for me. its decent, but i got the same feeling when my pnso carnotaurus arrived. its a special dinosaur, but so far none of the models ive seen have really done it for me.

What would have made it better for you? I'm curious, since I'm extremely particular about my Carnotauruses as well!

@@DinosDragons partially the paintjob, as even tho HLG has some great designs, i feel they often lack the depth that PNSO brings. on top of that, the caudofemoralis muscle seems a bit lacking on this one. the last one is hardly a complaint, but all five of the nails on the hands are painted, and if i recall correctly, only three of the five nubby little fingers have nails.

I got both of them today from Aliexpress, and I agreed with you that they did improved a lot compared to Allosaurus. I can even put the grey one with PNSO without noticing the color scheme difference. HLG is overall more colorful and more carbon like regardless how real the shape is, or how natural the wrinkles are, or how scientifically restored is close to PNSO, they just not look different. HLG has its own color and painting application and PNSO has its own, too. HLG is more colorful, PNSO is more realistic. I do like HLG now, but I am not planning to mix it with PNSO (I was). But then I am running out of space. I already have an area for Nanmu and Rebor, they are about the same size and about the same color scheme. I already of an area for PNSO and I have about 50 of them, all displayed. Now I need to find a space for HLG.

Haha what I do is that I have no choice but to rotate them. Every 3 to 6 months, some models go into storage while new ones replace them on the shelf. But as we get more and more into collecting, we have to be more and more selective! Otherwise the whole house will be filled with models!

Not only models, the boxes. I am running out of space.

Btw. Is your Carnotaurus has teeth issue? Both of mine lost one teeth. I saw some of other reviewers’ the same way like mine.

@@DinosDragonsI think the grey one look about the same color scheme with PNSO from a distance, so I put it together with PNSO.

I still prefer the grey , luckily the two color options are so good for this , pnso rarely fully misses but even i have to agree theire "conservative" ( same kinds of yellow, browns , always stripes etc.)

The brown palette is really, really wearing thin. I sometimes feel like they are deliberately trolling us 🤣 I certainly incline toward the grey as well!

It may not be the most accurate one, but IMO nothing comes close to the Papo one visually.

The Papo certainly stikes a pose! Boring poses is something you can't ever accuse Papo of! 😁

Ambas figuras me gustan mucho, cada versión tiene un esquema de color bastante agradable para mí! 😁 Yo anhelo ver un Amargasaurus de esta compañía! Yo pienso que harían un trabajo espectacular con su trabajo de pintura 🤩

Not a mass produced figure but will you be reviewing the sanctumarchaicstories carnotaurus when that’s officially released?

I don't know. I would have to see price and images first. But in general I don't buy models I have to paint since I can't paint to save my life! But if the model is really good, I may get it painted if I can save the money. I also don't know the shipping of this to Asia, so that is another factor.
