Another interesting unboxing. I love that uranium glassware, antique glass is something I especially like. I believe I know what the mystery item is. 👍
Those glass beads really are stunning. Uranium glass holds a mystique of danger about it. Kind of like a cobra behind glass. Danger contained. I like it.
Chris! You have the unboxing show smooth and perfect. Good timing. Hitting all the points. Fun. And white pad at the end! I’m waiting for some interesting treasures from the emergency shed!
Great box of Treasures. Always liked Depression Glass, but never collected it (my great aunt had heaps of it). Love that motion lamp. I've never seen one of those before. Thank you
Another interesting video Chris. Glad I was able to guess the mystery object, one can only imagine the heavy burden it may have supported over the years! 🙃🙃😉
Very timely Chris. I was telling my wife several days ago about a train lamp that my brother had as a kid and I had it for a while as a kid many years (he is now 75 and I am 60). It was very similar to the car lamp. She didn't quite share my excitement, but I am use to that........:) Thanks for Posting the Vid. Cheers John
All in great condition. Goes to show it can be profitable to store things for a while. Interesting sotry regarding DW. I see the starburst clock on the wall hasn't sold yet.
Yeah, storing the right stuff can be a great investment! Other stuff not so! I priced the clock up at $950 as I'm not that keen to move it on just yet! 😆
Remember he said it was one of a set of four. I think it is a caster cup. You put them under the leg casters on the old beds, and other heavy furniture to prevent the caster from denting the linoleum or other floor covering.
David is correct, but they are for something specific - not just general furniture. You'll have to wait for the next mystery object video for more info.. 👍😊
Video would have been longer if I did it Chris. I can’t help but read some of the newspapers. Even if they are only a few years old. The ads are best. See the change in prices.
Your mystery item is it coaster that you would pit under the feet of an arm chair or sofa? i remember something similar when i was a child my mum had in the late 60s...

Thanks Alex, yeah being a bottle collector, old glass has always held a fascination for me!

Haha yep, danger contained is a good thing! 🐍🐍

Thanks Shane - the tempo is about to be increased on the unboxings too! 👍😊

Smallest room has an escape ladder! 😂👍
Of course mate - sometimes a quick escape is necessary! 🤣🤣
Really interesting video, Chris. Some great items you unboxed. Your sharing of pottery knowledge was very helpful.
Thanks Uncle Jack! 😀👍

Thanks Cynthia. Yep the old glass has a real charm about it! 😊

Thanks James! It sounds like you are playing the right tune there.. 😉😀
Or the wrong tune if you arnt skilled!

Thanks John, I haven't seen a train one, but I know there are quite a few varieties! Thanks for watching 😊
Another interesting box Chris. I have never seen one of those motion lamps before. Looks pretty cool.
I've had a few over the years Katrina, they are very cool!
A fun lamp, something I hadn't come across before outside of the flame effect electric fires.
Yep, they are pretty cool lamps!
Keep going. Looks like you have a trip to Europe hiding in the back shed and back room.
Funny you say that! We've just found out the World Table Tennis Masters Games for 2024 are in Rome and we are thinking of going! 😁🏓
Never heard about uranium glass before, seems scary but nice glow !
It was probably more scary for the glassmakers all those years ago!! Thanks Retif 😊

Yep, old newspapers are always a distraction - especially local ones!! These were around 12 years old I think..
