I’ve had the brushless one for almost a year now. Got lucky and found one at an Amazon bin store for $7. So far I’ve upgraded the shocks, 60amp esc, Hot RC receiver/ transmitter, 96mm wheels, and hex extensions. This thing is fast with the bigger tires and better esc. It’s hard to beat for the money. Multiple wrecks doing 60+ MPH and no major breaks. Other then the body😂
I bought the brushless one for 11 bucks off temu I've replaced things but I've also smashed walls and it doesn't really break aside from axels and the body mine now has oil shocks a better servo and the esc started giving problems after about a year or so of heavy bashing now it's got a traxxas vxl3s esc in it and it's a whole new animal oh and I also upgraded to 2s lipo over the 2s liion almost forgot i hooked it up to my good transmitter too its been a fun build/ basher racer
I got the brushless version and it low speeds. A really sounds like gears are grinding and it doesn’t seem to pop wheelies as much as everyone else’s occasionally I can get it to Papa wheelie and also sometimes the throttle won’t work and it will beep three times ,could it possibly be slipping gears out of the box already? I haven’t opened it up.
looks ok...typical chinese manufacturers they get it 80 percent good but fail on the other 20, and think the arrma groms for a little more are a better buy.
The Mojave is an awesome truck and we have a video coming soon. But the Mojave is not brushless. To go brushless your looking at another $100. That puts you are 250 vs 120 for this. The quality of the groms is fantastic though.
@@TheShopMiniRC even taking into account its brushed, it has a very very good brushed system and doesnt look like a toy that many of these chinese company cars do.
@@malcolmlester4585 having them both, the only negative really of the brushless $100-$130 JJRC is the crappy shocks, and the mediocre remote (not that the arrma remote is much better) The jjrc is all metal drivetrain, from axles, to diff, c-cups, and even the knuckles. The arrma has tons of plastic in those areas. Again, I love the arrma, but this truck isn’t too far off. Drop another $50 into it with shocks and a few other things, (and some free mods) and I think it would out perform the arrma
@@TheShopMiniRC the mojave now has the v2diffs so more metal and the arrma plastic is very good quality , and the body on the mojave is probably the best rtr body i have ever seen and the locking mechanism is genius, and purely from a looks point of veiw miles ahead of that jjrc.
@@malcolmlester4585 it’s still got plastic in the diffs and plastic knuckled and c-cups. Again, this isn’t about the Mojave not being awesome. It’s about the truck being brushless and cheaper. ;)
looks ok...typical Chinese company stuff...they get there about 80 percent but fall over with the last 20...the arrma grom for a little more is the way to go.

It’s possible the gears are slipping or something has pushed the driveshaft pinion away from the diff. Might be worth opening up.

Temu is malware disguised as an app.
I mean, you can just shop on the website. You don’t have to use the app.
