Yeah man, this might be my favorite build you have done so far. I was borderline confused the whole video because the inside was completely unrecognizable. Most players completely ignore home plate, let alone ever build so uniquely. The shelf idea worked hella good. I also loved the rifle next to the bed, super immersive in the Fallout universe and it's something a lot of people do IRL here in America. BTW, your FO4 videos are the only ones I still watch now that's it has been awhile since the TV show aired. Epic stuff
Great to see home plate get some love even though its the smallest and is more an apartment for yourself than a true settlement. Looks great your designs are awesome keep the videos coming!
I really like the ‘walling’ of areas to create sections and realistic divisions. Your sinking of items really made this build, like the crates under the sofa and the plants. Good job as always.
The shelves for walls is actually genius! I've never bothered really with home plate because, as you said, its so open but with so little you can put in, but this has inspired me to give it another go :)
The eat-o-tronics on either side of the TV really look like the CD shelves everyone had in the 90s. Love your creativity and really enjoy your unique take on this place.
I am obsessed with Fallout 4 no mods settlement building and I think I've watched every RUclips channel in existence on the subject. I only just recently came across your videos and they've quickly become some of my most favorite because they're so creative and unique. My favorite settlements to build in are those that have existing buildings because I see them as puzzles to solve when repairing them. I'm not good at building things from scratch! Anyway, you've come up with ideas I've never seen anyone else do before and they're absolutely brilliant. I look forward to your next settlement! I'm going to request Murkwater Construction 😊 PS: You can also use the basketball hoop switch (the one on the pole) to sink things into Home Plate floor.
If you hover over a conduit but make sure you still choosing the wire and then click to attach wire you can actually clip the wire through anything to the next conduit
I think I've mentioned this before, but your videos are overly more enjoyable to watch than others that use mods because this impressively creative for working within the confines of the base games limits. It's not just a settlement build, it's a challenge build. And you're extremely creative usage of clipping to make different items have different purposes is actually just so amazing.
"everyone's got a christmas tree in their loft" Me; "Um nope, i dont have a loft as i live in supported housing sue to disability and don't celebrate christmas" XD Seriously though I love what you've done with this.
looks amazing actually. I've always ignored home plate since being incredibly disappointed in what can be done with it the first time I played through fo4. So seeing it look so lived in looks incredible.
Hey Shawzzo, I didn't watch your Fallout London videos yet bc im trying to stay spoiler-free for now, but I think it would be interesting to see what you could do with the Covent Garden settlement!! I think the place has lots of potential
Never tried to store them so I dont know if it is doable, but. Next to the toilet, having a table with most of your holotape games in a drawer and some on top. Could be a funny/creative way to store them and add to the lived in factor.
Hi, thank you for sharing these brilliant tips and inspiration. btw did you put things on the shelves one by one? I mean, dropping stuffs and then activating workshop to make them stand upright, and moving onto the shelves.
Yours is similar to mine in a lot of ways. The biggest difference on mine is I moved the TV area to the kitchen and dining room. Your furniture choice is a lot more scrappy than mine since I used some fancier furniture.
How are you able to place items in your builds so exactly? I play on PC, and when I'm moving stuff around holding 'E' (not in build mode) the level of control you have over placement is very rough. Great build! I don't think I've done anything with my Home Plate house... I kinda forgot I had it to be honest. lol. Also, wouldn't you be kicking those bottles and cans around constantly as you walk through the house?
@@Shawzzo So there's not a placement trick I'm unaware of? It's just determination and careful nudging items around while holding 'E'? If so, then you ARE very patient. Getting stuff placed on all those shelves would be a nightmare.
For the part @8:00 , there is a wire glitch that allows you to put wires through walls and such. Since you didn't specifically mention it, my guess if you may not be aware of it. Worth a check for sure if you did not already know.
I want to see you do vault 88. Just started it and wish I could learn from what you do before building it. Rn it's still full of junk everywhere. Learned keeping some stuff like that adds to the aesthetic. Hard to do at the vault though because there's so much of it. Probably have to cut something.
So imaginative. I took one look at that place, turned around and walked right back out again. But don't you get the drop through bug? With all those items you have placed?
It does eat at game performance slightly. I've followed some of his build ideas with my own twists, but basically any save file with multiple settlements at max budget will struggle slightly in various ways. The most noticeable hit is FPS drops inside fully maxed settlements.
One of the more obnoxious things about this game is that they don't allow you to make a supply line to the Home Plate. If you could, you could roleplay as having taken Diamond City into your Empire like you do with Bunker Hill. I guess if they did that they would feel like you would need to be able to do something like that with Goodneighbor too. Which you should be able to do.
How do you do the decorating? Are you just dopping and placing the items from your inventory? I would think the physics engine would break and stuff would go flying
How did you get power in the back of the apartment? I have string lights but the power cuts off where the ceiling gets higher and where you have your power armour.
How do you place all the items on shelves and make them stay there without despawning or clipping through the shelves? Wanna start getting more detailed on stuff but when I try and place items they never stay there
He doesn’t use this in particular; but OCDecorator has every single item you can pick up in its workshop inventory to place as a static object. Works well with PA. (Place Anywhere)
Sorry my eng Is no good What is missing in Fallout 4 , is an AI of the npc's in recognizing the constructions made by the player, is interacting according to the changes made, if you insert a wall where it was not there before, an npc will always behave as if it was not there, if you use walls as a barrier it will never recognize them as a barrier, stairs it does not see them , guard stations neither, you are forced to use the defense mat , but so the npc always remains stuck in that position
For some reason your home plate looks bigger in space, is it because of the resolution you're playing on? Every time I have Piper as a romantic partner I use Home Plate so she's not so far away from Nat
Dude nobody ever covers Home Plate! So hyped
YES Lemon! 🍋

@Shawzzo You thought you had too many clutter items, but I think it was just the right amount!
I think you are by far the best fallout 4 builder. The things you can do without mods is outstanding. Great job
I love that you created different rooms inside using the shelves. Never seen that before and I’ll definitely be using that in the future. Great job!
Great to see home plate get some love even though its the smallest and is more an apartment for yourself than a true settlement. Looks great your designs are awesome keep the videos coming!
You are very creative and patient. I would go insane trying to match your precision, but I appreciate watching what you do.
Love the shelf wall idea dude
This is so good! The Christmas tree comment gave me a good laugh 😂
Its always genuinely exciting when one of these drops. It never feels like its been too long and every video is just fun and creative. Keep it up man

No such thing as over decorating!❤ The fact that he did home plate is so awesome because nobody ever does it 😭
So much attention to detail. Great job!
This is so impressive!! Home Plate is so restrictive but such a blank slate and I love to see where different minds take the space! Great video!
One of the best home plate I’ve seen. Also, the. Bookcase where you places all those books 😮
Great job, I love how you change furniture and make it look completely different using crates and boxes.
So excited
And I just can't hide it

I’ve not seen menu other builds but this is by far the greatest one I’ve seen, nice job 👍🏼
lovin' these videos
it takes me back to the early fo4 days, using the pillar or rug glitches
No me imagino que gran construcción harás hoy mi querido amigo Shawzoo, por ahora solo puedo esperar con ancias. 😁
I can't wait to see what you can do WITH mods!
Nice bro! You are definitely an inspiration! Can’t wait to see what you do next! God bless you.
Great decoration!
I really like how you show a brief demonstration of how you placed some things. Too many vids either don’t explain at all, or go into too much detail.
I love role play elements. The uniform, aww. I also love sinking my plants!
Looks massive, great build
Wooow la verdad solo la primer vez compré home plate por que sentí que no se podía hacer nada interesante pero tú hiciste algo increíble 🎉🎉🎉
Looks solid man, very creative.
Really enjoy these 😊
I'm so excited for this to come out
Omg this is so good!!! Love it!!!!
That’s awesome I’d forgotten this place existed
This was phenomenal 🎉
You inspire me for my playthrough! 😎
If you use the campfire, you can sink the post in a a spot that normally doesn't allow it.
Yep.
This video is homerunsome
Glitching on point! Nice one.
"everyone's got a christmas tree in their loft"

@@danroberts007 exactly that haha
@@danroberts007use OCDecorator and PA (Place Anywhere) they are both on PS4 and I refuse to build without them now.

Very cool indeed.
I use home plate to display my legendary weapons on the walls.
None can be stolen by settlers.
734 hours and didn't know this place existed
You can sink the basketball hoop switch as well.
Recently started to look at your redecorating videos. Your style is a bit scrappy for my liking, but this one was definitely a very nice one.
I love your builds dude!
Can you cover vault 88?
I would love to see him build the interior of the tardis from fallout who regenerated
So imaginative. I took one look at that place, turned around and walked right back out again.
But don't you get the drop through bug? With all those items you have placed?
The wall mounted TV is an amazing touch! Did you totem glitch it or use a rug? Ive gotta learn how to copy this lol
Cheers! I used the totem
bro there are so many details in each of your settlements, does it not affect the game performance? like crashing when fast traveling
It does eat at game performance slightly. I've followed some of his build ideas with my own twists, but basically any save file with multiple settlements at max budget will struggle slightly in various ways. The most noticeable hit is FPS drops inside fully maxed settlements.
I'm not using vanilla building BUT I did have the same idea to separate the rooms with shelves and close off some of open space
Any plans for sunshine tidings co-op?
Will be my next video!
Not being able to decorate/build on the roof area killed my excitement for the place, I just wanted to have a cool ass patio.
Great build could you do the castle next
That’ll be a big video I’m saving it for the right time :)

Did you try firepit glitch to sink the totem pole?
Cold
The only thing i dont like about this Place, is that is has no windows😪
But nice Build. Keep it up 😉
I made mine look like a night club/bar it’s dope at
Top 5 Settlements Everyone Forgets
I have an issue with home plate where I can't place anything on the cement floor side. Everything stays red and sinks into the floor.
How do you do the decorating? Are you just dopping and placing the items from your inventory? I would think the physics engine would break and stuff would go flying
How did you get power in the back of the apartment? I have string lights but the power cuts off where the ceiling gets higher and where you have your power armour.
How do you get the figurines on the desks?
How do you place all the items on shelves and make them stay there without despawning or clipping through the shelves? Wanna start getting more detailed on stuff but when I try and place items they never stay there

There's an easy wire glitch that goes through walls. There are plenty of videos that cover it.
Sorry my eng Is no good

You Reay don't like empty space do you Shawzo even a bone in the little corner at the bobblehead stand 😂👍
I can’t get the pillar glitch to work 😩😩😩
You did amazing.
Home plate, for being a "new" building has one of the filthiest floors of any settlement.
Which is annoying.
Please i need this released earlier i have work right as the video starts 😂😂😂
👍

Every time I have Piper as a romantic partner I use Home Plate so she's not so far away from Nat
прикольно, у него тотем по-русски написан)
The basketball hoop sinks really deep. Will sink things better for uou.
Made walls using shelves? Don't let Piper in!
Not a whole lot of good homepage builds with no mods/cc stuff out there. Well done all around
