7:08 If anyone else wants to use doors as windows keep in mind that settlers will open those doors and ruin the window effect. There is a workaround though. Settler programming only allows them to open doors, it does not allow them close doors. We can use this to our advantage by initially placing the doors somewhere out of the way, exiting build mode and opening the doors, and then reentering build mode and placing them where we want to use them as windows. Since the doors are already in the open position settlers will not be able to mess them up. Nice creative build BTW.
Definitely, I turned this particular house into a big doghouse. Every single caught dog plus Dogmeat constantly use it to play and hang out. Couldn’t pass it up
I love the fact that the builds dont look they were repaired to be exactly as they were before the bombs, but more as if it was repurposed and patched up to work as a sutible living space. Love the content.
Love the busses! I made tiny houses in them, or shops. Even made a food truck by glitching a bar in the side and a platform with stairs so you can walk up to the window and order food and drinks. Keep it up, I really like your videos.
I just discovered your channel and I’m really enjoying the fallout 4 stuff. Really cool to see someone super creative building settlements I’d never in a million years be able to do myself lol you rock, man!

Heck yea. Looks great. I haven't decided what to do with this house yet in my current playthrough (level 30). The views out the back windows are great; nice place for crafting tables if you're the sort what likes to craft at dawn before the days adventure.
I flipped the buses around where the doors were accessible and I made separate walkways with railings into the buses on both sides of the building one of them I use as the sanctuary public occurrences office for Piper
Nice build but you should put some concrete pillars underneath so it looks like all that weight is being supported by something, even if you just put a few around the outside of the house under the eaves. It will also help with your blue paint problem a bit.
tbh, after seen this im trashing my whole sanctuary build! 😂😂😂 my use of impossible physics is awesome but this building... jeezzz (i never use the buildings these days, everything is above ground with heavy use of garden plots etc, just from scratch buildings with multiple floors!)
You should check out the wifi glitch so you can have wireless conduits. Set up all your lights with one big generator and then hide the generator after you have all the lights and all things that require power. It’s nice not having loud generators in your settlement. And no wires.
Gosh trying so hard to get this one but it just wont go with either of the rug or pole glitch. Any tips on getting the roof to fit? Ive checked for any other items colliding inside as ive already started fixing the walls. Platform seems to be the right size and i have the buses lined up pretty well
I think I’m just gonna worry about getting my settlements functional and when the game is over then I’m gonna build all of this. Thanks for not using any crazy mods and just making it simple while looking amazing.
I love the idea of hiding the engines in the school bus, how novel. Are you really going to leave the broken toilet in the bar? Pretty sure that violates several Health and Safety executive guidelines! Im subscribed! 😁😎
Why did you make the platform then add foundations and wood decorations instead of just adding the scrap walls at that stage? Did the bus ends poke out or something?
Hey new sub! Good stuff looks immersive af. For anyone having trouble replicating shawzzo builds and rug glitch not working?…. It because you have sts mod installed and that breaks it. I would recommend you finish your sanctuary build then install sts after, if you must have a clean settlement that is.
In a post apocalyptic world with people exposed to radiation and somehow given extreme extended life, plasma weapons and monsters roaming the world, you’re concerned about the structural integrity of a house… haha
your video quality would be amazing if you mapped the darkest and lightest points of your image!! its a quirk of some video cards and many capture softwares. the output that you are given from the screen capture (i assume) lacks contrast! - it would be a huge bump in production quality! love the video!
Another thing you could do is snap a few more of those warehouse pillars underneath the ones you already have on the sides of the foundations so they go all the way to the ground. It would look better and more believable. Again, nice build.
Really nice idea to put buses on top of the building, I like the shanty town vibe it gives :) might steal that for one of my builds :p You said that you might run out of ideas for the roof fixes, I have fixed the roof of a house in a way you haven't done and made a video about it years ago if you're interested check it out (my channel is inactive and has been for years I don't try to self promote just help you out)
Curious why you don’t just use mods? I’m on Xbox and there’s loads of settlement building mods that make it way better. Instead of messing around doing all these glitches 😂
Yeah there are some cool mods out there! I get a lot more satisfaction doing it without mods also using mods disables achievements which some people like to have on

I like to use the glass half-walls and pillar-glitch them onto the appropriate location.
Anyone who trashes Fallout 4s settlement building needs to see these videos. This stuff is truly incredible.
all of my builds were bland af till I found Shawzzo's channel. Now that he taught me the glitches my builds look nice.

I'm happy to see this settlement has gotten some help General
P-givey in the house

Ohhhh yeeeeees! Thats one I would watch over and over again! 👍
You really do a great job ! 😍
Not related to the video but I love that Rachet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal poster in the background. Such a good game from my childhood haha.
Good job I know how time consuming these builds are good job, the far harbor dlc stuff is good to build with.

Where can i find the buses?...

for some reason the rug glitch wont work when I put the stairs on top, any idea why?
I'm wondering how'd you get to move the busses without mods? I really love the bar though
Ive done the exact same thing at the same house but it doesnt allow me to place it!
Same!! Did you manage to fix it?
@adammoss1571 yes I had the scrap everything mod on which was the issue
You should look at Skooled Zone's wire glitch. it will help uou hide the wires and clip thouh things like the busses.
That foundation piece you couldn't get in I think if you tried it from the ground looking up it would have snapped in
I think so too. Often times getting lower (even glitching yourself under the map) can help to snap in pieces.
Why did you make the platform then add foundations and wood decorations instead of just adding the scrap walls at that stage? Did the bus ends poke out or something?

There no way these houses can support the weight of school buses in the current condition

@@panicfarm9874 you're the reason bethesda destroyed fallout
@@Chaplain_Asmodai what are you on about lunatic ?
Maybe the school bus is made of extra light weight metal?
I mean the house is made of metal, the supports could be fine even though the facade isn't.
I don't understand how you put things inside walls.. I tried rugs and poles and I can't connect anything or sink it in to the ground. I'm on ps5.
Haha when I was at the bar I enjoyed some fresh apples
I cannot for the life of me get the rug glitch to work with stairs any tips please mr
You should really learn the wire glitch. Makes running wires a lot easier
You must have reset your settlement build size a few times to do all that you do.
Looks awesome I can't build lol

the output that you are given from the screen capture (i assume) lacks contrast! - it would be a huge bump in production quality!

it is also possible that the source is HDR and is incorrectly mapped to SDR, whether that's in the capture software or afterwards
lol too bad we can’t remove the dead body in the house by the fridge. Beautiful build
Does rain still fall inside the house when you’re done?
Nope
I dont know how to put stairs on a rug 😢

I’d spend Caps !!!😊
You should be able to get in the bus I think just pick up the bus and drop it well standing inside the bus
I had the same thought.
how did you aquire the bus?
Wasteland workshop dlc

Do Somerville house next

Why the fuck I cannot put it into a valid position I dont get it
Buses are only added through mods or dlcs so this doesnt even count as an "unmodded" or "vanilla" structure 😂😂😂
Actually you can build It in the vanilla version
