Always a pleasure. Like You Guy's a lot! Have really nice weekend! Lot's of ❤ from Finland. Hopes 🎅
*Yeah, good old 2003....as far as I know this version is not different to the album version. The one song that differs on the album "Fallen" is "My Immortal". The album version is just Amy Lee playing the piano with programmed music in the background [Full Ballad Mode]. But the single version of "My Immortal" is the so-called "Band Version", where towards the end of the song the band begins to play as well, so it has a heavier rock ending. Greetings from Bavaria and keep rockin' !!*
songs like Going Under, My Immortal, Lithium and this one example: Seether - Broken (Feat Amy Lee vocalist of Evanescence) (and i know Seether aint female fronted, but cause her/her voice is big part of song, i toss that one:D)
*Another alltime-favourite song from the EvaneScencE album "Fallen" is "Haunted".*
Lovebites - "Hammer of Wrath - Live, Bloodstock 2018".
Evanescence - Lithium is on of their best. You really catch the full range of her vocals in that one.
I am the fire by Halestorm. Great song with a great female lead singer.
Or the Familiar Taste of Poison they did on the Jimmy Fallon show in 2010.
Neil Brook Mz Hyde!!!!
Neil Brook lets not forget freak like me🤘🏻
Paul McCoy plays in a band called 12 stones. Amy Lee didn't want the male part in this sing, but she did it to appease the record label.
Crippie Karaoke Slightly sexist...
@@ChemicalReactions I agree. I watched a video on RUclips where they interviewed Amy Lee and she openly admitted this. I was kinda shocked. When they perform it live now, they completely omit the guy part.
The label originally wanted them to hire a full time male co-vocalist. When the band refused they offered them a one song deal which they took. It was rumored that the label wanted Mike Shinoda for the male part but he didn't want it.
The Song was inspired by Amy's now-husband who, when they first met, asked her if she was happy. She was in an abusive relationship at the time and in complete denial about it. She lied and said she was. The first few lines were inspired by that meeting. Pretty cool story in my opinion.
Nowadays Amy performs the whole male part of the bridge live and it's amazing. They also performed it together with Paul McCoy earlier this year.
@@ChemicalReactions I agree. Amy is sexist.
@@ChemicalReactions Not slightly, very sexist from the record label.
The Warning. Any track from their 2nd album "Queen Of The Murder Scene", although all of their songs are worth a listen.
PLEASEEEE!!!! REACT to THE WARNING!!! When they sings, the world is right. :D
If you want Amy Lees full vocal ability listen to lithium.
Or literally any song she sings. She never ceases to amaze me. I always expect greatness and she always hits higher than anticipated on the awesome scale
All their songs are amazing once I got into an argument with a person on RUclips because he said "Amy Lee sucks she never sounds the same live and she strains her voice" and stuff like that now, when they put it in that way i get soo mad... and I refused to expect that... because... Evanescence has been my favourite band since I was 4 i have loved them for so long... most of my life! And i have been listening to Evanescence every day without skipping a day for 3 years (i plan on trying 7 years) and that has only made me love them more 🖤🖤🖤 it even cheers me up when im sad and nothing else can i even go to sleep listening to Evanescence sometimes like yesterday...😅 my friends think i stalk Amy Lee 😔 but im fine with that! 🤣🤣🤣
Please react to The Warning. 3 teenage sisters from Mexico.
They write and compose all their own songs and are all multi-instrumentalists.
They don't have the backing of any record label (despite many offers) as they want to stay in control of the music they write and the image they project, and not be told what style to play and what clothes to wear based on what will generate the most money for a label.
Dust to dust (live) is a good starting point.
Dudes a badass dad. My sons only 3 and I hope I'm as cool as you when he's a teen. Just a good dad.
First time I heard this, I was in my mid-thirties and heading for a weekend away with friends in South West England. I was stuck in a jam on England's most boring motorway (M4), just outside Slough (where The Office was set). The DJ played it, and my eyes inexplicably became moist. When it was finished, the DJ was so moved by what she'd just heard, she played it again. It was a moment in time.
People keep comparing Amy Lee to Floor Jansen (and vice versa). I don't think that is fair to either. They are both incredible singers in their own right. Judge them on their own merit.
Ellie is way too mellow and laid-back - I want to see that blonde hair flying as she headbangs! 😋 ❤️
PageMonster We’ll get there!
THANK YOU! I knew I couldn't be the only one who hates that Fllor and Amy are CONSTANTLY being compared to each other.
They're both amazing, but I prefer Amy because of the emotion she conveys when she sings. She makes you feel what she's feeling, and I love that. It makes the music that much more honest.
THE WARNING.
You should react to the Warning. They are three sisters who rock. They have over 30 original songs. They're last album is QOTMS which is a concept album! They are from Mexico. But they sing in English.
Paul McCoy is the lead singer of a band called 12 stones
lost in paradise from the 3rd album, Never go back and Disappear are also from that 3rd self titled album and are really really awesome. The 3rd Album really doesn't get enough love.
Alter Bridge - "Words darker than their wings" live at Royal Albert Hall
Hi there! You must react to The Warning. Their last Album "Queen of the Murder SCene" is a masterpiece, is outsanding and really rocks!!!. They music has energy, passion, is very good handcrafted and played. It`s so catchy and adictive. I bet you, once that you hear these Three Sisters, you hardly can stop listening. You can start with "Dust to Dust"
Juliette often has wise things to add to the conversation. Elly seems to be a bit shy because doing this is new to her. But often the quiet ones do have the best things to say. Looking forward to having her find her voice a bit more.
Thanks guys, this was amazing...
You should do more Evanescense, maybe even a series...
Anderson Assumpção more coming for sure
Thanks guys...
The Warning- Dust to Dust or queen of the Murder Scene its an all female band

X4
Got to do this!
They are 3 sisters from Mexico, they will blow your mind!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
There is no "Amy Lee only" version of this song on the Fallen album. The only such version is on Synthesis, which came out like 15 years after Fallen.
just keep doing evanescence. . amys voice is just so amazing
A big hit from the early 2000s glad Ellie liked it Amy has such a great voice keep the good reactions coming. Cheers
Loved this song at the time, and it's still good
Still good for sure.
When I first heard this song I was reminded of two great female voices of the '70s, Ann Wilson of Heart, who I got to see way back in 1977, and Annie Haslam of Renaissance.
Sinester Smile by The Warning from Lunario is a good option.
But all songs of The Warning is a good option.
Excellent song. I love evanessance.
Within Temptation also has an excellent front woman. ( dutch like Floor Jansen from Nightwish, Simone Simmons from Epica).
Lithium is a much more powerful song. So good! I highly recommend it! Great reaction!
Please react to Dust to Dust by The Warning for your next female fronted Friday. They are not that popular yet and will not be requested as much but they are an all female band consisting of three teen sisters.
They have been WARNED!!
We’ve been getting the request for a while. It’s high on the list.
Thank you!
The next choice for Female Fronted Fridays has got to be The Warning. They’re 3 sisters, aged 19, 17, and 14. As some others are saying, Dust to Dust, Sinister Smiles, Queen of the Murder Scene are all awesome choices, although they don’t really have any bad songs. Check them out!
X2
The Warning should be in line!
The Warning
My immortal!!!!!!!❤️❤️
Please react to me singing while driving in my pickup. I must be good just judging by all the looks I get
LOL. Shoot us a video!
ChemicalReactions! My back up singers get all the applause. For my alone work it is being held hostage by the traffic cameras 😝. facebook.com/terry.breedlove.5/videos/10207130395487566/
Id watch it
I love this song.
Reacts to The Warning, please. New album Queen Of The Murder Scene is great for the first to the last song. Just listen to it. Thanks.
The Warning of course.
Paul McCoy is the lead singer of 12 Stones. You should react to Crash, or Broken by 12 Stones.
Yes!!!!!!!!
HAVE. They HAVE amzing songs. They are still around and rocking it.
This song really tuned me into the band many moons ago. And this song was the best part of Affleck's DareDevil movie as well
this song reminds me of my skate years...i was 16 but now i am 34...what a timetravel thnx for that like u
Great reaction
I’ll add another request for The Warning for female fronted Friday’s. Dust to dust or Queen Of The Murder Scene but all of their songs are good. 🤘🏼
Check out Amaranthe! This band has three vocalists, a Female singer, Male singer, and a Screamer. The way they blend all the vocal styles is amazing, and Elize Ryd is an amazing female metal vocalist!
Great reaction as always! Firsttime commenting. Plz do ”Eclipse - Viva la Victoria” . Their first singel on the upcoming album! Keep up the great work guys, greetings from Pitea, Sweden!
Flyleaf
Paramore
The Pretty Reckless
Halestorm
Here's some female fronted bands for you to look into
Amy Lee had zero interest in having a male voice on this song. The record label pressured her into doing it.
@Mark Gaiennie I can believe that since they did a version live together
Well the label is the boss.
The label wanted the male voice in all the songs on the album. They talked them down to just one song though.
Paul is from a band call Twelve Stones. He grew up 30 min from where I live
I do know who Paul McCoy is. I was a big Creed fan back in the day, and they were on a record label called Wind-Up Records as were 12 Stones and Evanesence. "The Way I Feel" and "Broken" are two decent songs by 12 Stones.
Nice
Also Far Away, The Last Song, and Fade Away. 12 Stones make some killer tunes!
Same time as Drowning Pool, Alter Bridge, Seether and Edgewater were all on that label too.
the male vocal is lead singer from a band called 12 stones, they are awesome
And if you want to hear more of amy's voice in acapella i would recomend my immortal.
Chuck and Allie, awesome!
Even after all these years, I still get emotional listening to this song. Japanese all girl band Band-Maid would be great for FFF. Their song 'Take Me Higher' shows you exactly how great these ladies are. Nice one guys !
Kittie, Babe's in Toyland, The Distillers, L7, Hole, Fear of God, all female fronted or all female bands.🤘🤘
Shawn Horror Babes in toyland. Been a while!
Snow White Blood is a great new female-fronted symphonic metal band from Germany. They released a 5 song (6 song?) EP, all the songs on it are here on youtube and are great. They responded to a comment I made underneath one of their videos and said they are working on their full-length album :)
Female Fronted Metal Suggestions:
Spoil Engine - R!ot (Iris Goessens)
SynlakrosS - Fatal Frame (Patricia Pons)
Butcher Babies - Mr. Slowdeath (Heidi Shepard & Carla Harvey)
Burning Witches - Wings Of Steel (Laura Goldemund)
In This Moment - Big Bad Wolf (Maria Brink)
How can his daughter just sit there an think please let me go dad😱
Oouuhh, I gew up with the album "Fallen". After all these years I still love it. In the early 2000s there was no escaping from this song. As you mention Linkin Park, it' just the same with them. At that time it was their album "Meteora".
Those were some good times.
Unleash The Archers are a female fronted band from Vancouver BC. Cleanse The Bloodlines, Northern Passage, and Tonight We Ride are a few good ones🤘
Ur daughter has a very raspy voice has she ever sang metal?
Ricky Shaw LoL. Not yet. And I think it was mainly the effect of the first day of school
She has the proper real reaction.
Appreciate the Yes Roundabout music
Same!
👍👍👍 great reactions Ellie obviously liked the song alot. There was a sense of awkwardness like please dad dont get up on the table and start moshing. Proven right when she gave it a 98/100.
Love you and your family. Not to be nosy but what line of work do you do?
V7avalon I’m in corporate strategy.
Hey guys!! Truely....I was missing your next video when the youtube notification popped in 🎉. Nice analisys, nice comments I agree absolutely, maybe you should listen to the whole album or the “Anywherer but home -> song “missing” which is really wonderful. Unfortunately the band split up and besides Amy Lee as soloban remained “We are the Fallen” (the rest of the band), it’s worth listening to their musical proposal aswell.
Thanks for the reminder, as you said, Chuck, it’s always good to get back to songs that marked in certain way an era. Great!
I must be going, as usual......try Arcane - Primise (Part 2) and I hope to see you guys soon with another reaction, have a great weekend all of you! 👋😊
Thanks for the comment!
Guys, do you know Delain? Also female fronted metal. 🤘🏻
No, not familiar. Good?
@@ChemicalReactions Great are great, check them out, you wont be disappointed.
ruclips.net/video/nT14mlv92t4/видео.html
^ Link is to the song _Masters_ _Of_ _Destiny_ .
Paul McCoy is great! I saw him and his band 12 Stones live back in the day (debut cd era) and they ripped out a fantastic concert.
Paul McCoy is the Singer from 12 Stones, they were on the same Record Label is how they got together to collaborate on this song
Please react to The Warning - Dust To Dust (live)
Paul McCoy was in 12 Stones a very underrated band from back then. Definitely he's most well known for being on this song, but 12 Stones' first album was quite good. You should check it out.
Nice video 📹👍
Since you reacted to this song you HAVE to check out 12 Stones!!
Guest vocalist in this song is the lead singer for 12 Stones so please try to listen to 12 Stones- “Broken” or 12 Stones- “Far Away”
They're still around, aren't they? They had a few bangers along the way...on each album anyway. Still find myself listening to their self-titled (untitled?) album a lot.
Jacob Colson yes they’re still around! They just released an album 2 years ago. They really are brilliant musicians
Thank You Guy's👊. Amorphis - Death of a King, it's really nice too. 😁
I believe you!
I'm pretty sure, Yu'll really like the quitar riff's. But dont want to spoil too much! 😊
Kobra and the lotus-50 shades of evil
Burning Witches-executed
Try her out on some old school Joan Jett, Lita Ford, Heart, the move up to now, Halestorm, etc
How do I like my Joan Jett? Black hearted of course ;) Bad reputation ruclips.net/video/LvoV2Lfk7Qg/видео.html
Why don't you all have a little Heart - Barracuda ruclips.net/video/PeMvMNpvB5M/видео.html
I like that idea!
No One Take a listen to The Warning. A trio of Mexican sisters who sing in English. I heard people comparing them to The Runaways. 🤘🏼
The song you're thinking of, with 2 different versions, is My Immortal, from the same album. That would be another good reaction video.
This group was founded in Little Rock, Arkansas which is 132 miles from Memphis, TN. Yeah so what then? I have no easy answer as to why so many great artists are from this "area." There is a group that perhaps many do not know about called Black Oak Arkansas. It is proposed that David Lee Roth perhaps adopted the lead singer vocal style as well as look. Who really knows. I do like the molarity of your thoughts on bands you review and/or revisit. Thanks and take care out there.
Lovebites all female band from Japan.
Chuck, please could you react to Ghost in the near future? Keep em coming!
For sure, coming soon
Next reaction: We Are The Fallen
Everybody's Fool is another great Evanescence song
The band "The Warning" isnt just female fronted, its a full on female rock band, all of them are younger than me, which is surprising (I am 19) and I think the oldest member is 18.
Nope, Daniela is your age. She turned 19 in January. 🤘🏼😁
@@beadnut Oh damn, then 2 of them are younger than me. thanks for the correction
A song that would be perfect for Female-Fronted Fridays is:
'Brackish' by Kittie
"Female-Fronted Friday"
Haha, I love that. Great concept/theme.
Metal Ladies Monday or Women in Rock Wednesday would have worked too, but FFF is best cos it encompasses all genres. But you already knew that, didn't ya? :-D
Paul McCoy is from 12 stones. A very underrated rock band from that era.
Julia Julia Julia!!!!
Paul McCoy is from the band 12 stones
Ellies comparison with Linkin Park "In The End" left me somewhat puzzled as I didn't expect your teenage daughter to know that song. If I hadn't subscribed already, I definitely would now!
Other than than that, and as I've seen in previous comments, I'd also suggest The Warning, a rock band from Mexico consisting of 3 sisters:
-Daniela (19 years, guitar and lead vocals)
-Paulina (17, drums, backing vocals)
-Alejandra (14, bass, backing vocals)
These girls have released 2 albums and 1 EP (plus most recently 1 single in Spanish) until now and are far beyond a garage band.
Performing as the opening act for Def Leppard or The Killers and being invited to various Rock and Metal festivals in Mexico for the last 2 years should be enough proof ;-)
The songs I suggest are
Red Hands Never Fade ruclips.net/video/s1X3BxxUOBk/видео.html
Ugh (spoken like a sound of relief and/or exhaustion) ruclips.net/video/aHUz9dR3gwg/видео.html
Exterminated ruclips.net/video/zsgmwbJvgKI/видео.html
These are some of the less requested songs and I'd absolutely love to see a reaction to those. And I can assure when The Warning Army (how the fans call themselves) rolls in, more requests will be coming.
Greetings from Switzerland
All Linkin Park Albums -Hybrid Theory, Meteora, Minutes To Midnight, A Thousand Suns, The Hunting Party, Living Things, One More Light. All Skillet Albums -Skillet (self-titled), Ardent Worship, Hey You, I Love Your Soul, Invincible, Collide, Comatose, Awake, Rise, Unleashed.
One of the best female band around at the moment is The Warning from Monterrey in Mexico. The have an album called Queen of the Murder Scene. Any track !!
I actually knew who Paul was before I knew who Evanescence was. I listened to his band 12 Stones for some.time before Evanescence got big. Both great bands!
Check out CRYOSPHERE next friday! It is female fronted up and comming from Denmark!🤘
Amy Lee didn't want the "alternate conversation" and the band risked not signing with the label over that thought. Obviously they changed their minds.
Great reaction video!! Would love to see a reaction to an all Female J-Metal band named Lovebites, Song - Shadowmaker. Will blow your Mind at how talented they are! Keep up the great reaction videos!
Flyleaf!!!
You ought to listen to the live version.
Within Temptation! I cannot recommend the angelic voice of her enough. Please check out their track “Angels”.
React to Jinjer "Outlander" or Infected Rain "Storm" both female fronted bands. Keep up the great reactions! Circle of Death Forever!!!!
Thank you for your vids ! spiky hair, side burns , goatee and baggy pants !! definitely'' Nu metal era'' !Please react L7 ''pretend we re dead.'' L7 (the best Grunge female band ) and Helmet ''unsung''
Nailed it on the head!
Listen to Delta Rae Bottom of the River and All Good People and Hands dirty. They're southern gothic rock. (their terminology) but they're amazing.
*I would suggest : Within Temptation --- "Faster" and HALESTORM --- "Apocalyptic" or "Vicious".*
Good thoughts.
Please react to the best band: The Warning!!
Evanescence's is still around and still put out great music, but doesn't seem to get as much commercial success as early in their career. I would suggest Hi-Lo, its a little different from their normal music as its done with a full orchestra and featuring violinist Lindsey Stirling
Paul McCoy was the lead singer of 12 Stones.
