This figure is looking to be a definite must have for an ankylosaur fan such as myself. I personally prefer blue as well, the spots are suppler and the shade looks nicer to me, love the contrast with the red legs too.
Yes I very nearly didn't get the brown. The blue is really something, and looks way better in person. And Edmontonia is looooooong over due in my collection!

Whilest I still own and adore the Battat Terra Edmontonia if the years long gone, this will be a definite pick up, such splendidness. I do however have one gripe, the last two digits on the front limb that point out are clawed when they shouldn't be.
The green/blue variant stands out most for me. Really enjoying the intricate shading and coloration, and especially how the colour looks almost drab from afar, but when you look closer there's so much more subtlety. Wishing you a quick recovery! And looking forward to their next offering - Allosaurus!

Even though there are some nice figures out there, this is by far the most accurate and best. And I also like that Green/Blue version. The green version has that green and orange blend, which looks so pretty, I can't resist. So I'll go with that green one. As always, I have only one complaint about Haolonggood figures, and that is their mouth. So hopefully they will attend to it in the future. Thank you so much for this amazing review, my dear sir. Thank you my friend! Seems like it comes and goes, with the seasonality and how much I have to use my voice! Well I think in fairness, that these models _are_ pretty small. So when you have something so small, it might be difficult to do on a mass scale, and that would incur costs that would be ultimately passed on to us. I show models at close detail, but in real life for smaller models, it will not likely matter for most of us. You should try to get a hold of one, and see how you feel about it in person 🙂
Sorry to hear you've been sick. Nevertheless, you still managed to get out a wonderful video that covered just about everything I wanted to see of the two of these. I think I like the blue/green/grey one better myself as well. I like that it's not so monotone. It has the creamier countershading underneath, and finishing up towards the bottom of the legs and then feet, it has a bit of that terra cotta coloring, similar to the other one. Thanks for showing us though thoroughly. Hope you feel better soon!
Thanks mate! It's an on off thing but definitely getting better. This one is really one of HLG's better ones, and that says a lot about this! They are doing very well and at such an affordable price, and giving us a varied selection, including some long overdue ones such as this and the Pentaceratops... Well, I see them going to high places! 😂

Thank you my friend! I did get well but fell sick again for the PNSO Gorgosaurus. But that model was so good I powered through lol. I am hoping now on their Dilophosaurus. I'm sure by now you've seen the Allosaurus. Quite a disappointment, but I hope better for their next theropod.

I started collecting with an incredibly specific list of species (on of each bauplan). Haolonggood is making this very difficult XD as I look towards my second ankylosaurid and third hadrosaur (if they do release an edmontosaurus like they teased).
Well the good news is how affordable the HLG models are! 😃 For the sculpt quality and paint application, the price point is mad compared to offerings from other companies!
Seriously thinking of picking up the blue-green one. It's an almost perfect reconstruction except for one minor nitpick, the two outer digits on the front limbs shouldn't have claws. It seems like as easy fix, is there a safe way to remove the paint from them without damaging the figure?
Wow I really couldn't say. I am completely clueless about painting and modding. but I believe it should be easy for anyone with even rudimentary knowledge, of which I again, have zero 😅

I went with the green one today, due it is closer to the Dino Riders version that came out looong ago.
