Hypersonic looks better than Seawolf, and Hypersonic doesn't have the upcharge from GM. Plus, Hypersonic looks good from the factory or with stealth PPF. Seawolf is a mistake and should be canceled after 1 year

Got the same stealth wrap on my 64 falcon. It was $36 for 3 cans of grey primer.

Stay with the gloss, I’ve heard you can see the lines where the film stops worse. The expel makes it look wet, but stealth does show all those beautiful lines. I love the flake in the sea wolf, you will lose that with stealth.
Absolutely NOT. Do you really want the grey to look like PRIMER? Stealh wrap on any car takes the luster away immediately.
N0 for me but if he likes it, I love it. I am old school and likes my paint with a high gloss appearance. I also like bright wheels.

I don’t like the stealth; prefer the glossy.
Stealth does look good, but if I make the call, I would stay glossy. I think it would look better with your wheel selection. In the end, you do you Darren. I'm sure it will look awsome!

Sea wolf is beautiful, but it is not unique. Stealth wrap it and then when you won’t have to pull up to red light and look over at the Honda Civic with your same color

I’m not normally a fan of the stealth wraps, but (from first impressions) I really like it! I think I would better know if I could see the entire thing done and if I knew what other mods were on the horizon, but I think it definitely brings out the lines!
*Edit - All of that said, I would leave it alone and not do the stealth wrap. I think I would get tired of it within a week.

I like the black stealth wrap leaving the boomerang gloss and polished wheels
myself. I'd have to see the finished car. Still that metallic grey is nice. If it doesn't grab you right away and you have to think about it's probably not the right choice.

I agree keeping Factory Paint with only “Clear PPF” is the way I roll.
My decision to do PPF even was a leap of faith.
Even doing a Wrap might be a stretch for me. I had a beautiful C3 1976 that had the Spider Web finish after so many years.
I couldn’t find any of the good shops in the area willing to repaint the car, or they wanted $20,000 to repaint it. (All those terrible hours of the prep work I guess)
A wrap may have saved parting with the car I had from 1980 until 2021. 33,000 miles and was “Bright Blue” a shade close to the ever popular Nassau Blue.
I would never consider doing Stealth Bright Blue and cover up one of Corvette’s IMO Greatest Colors!

Do not do it. I have a Sea Wolf Gray C8 and its amazing in the sun. I get compliments everytime I take her out. I would never think to change anything about it. I chose the color for a reason. I love it!

Stealth. plus when they ceramic coat the car it gives it's some gloss. I have a white C8 stealth PPF and people love it at car shows

I dont get it? so two different companies worked on this car like one did the detail and the other did the PPF that all in going to cost him 6500 bucks it will still get dirty stay glossy my friends

I’d say black wheels with the stealth or stay with the wheels and the original gloss paint. Sounds like you will be tracking the car or at least going to Ron Fellows. Do you get track day insurance? If so, who do you use for that?

Why change a beautiful color!
Gray is an achromatic color and looks better on the steps of an old building or an old military ship. You can give "gray" a cool name like "Sea Wolf Gray" but it won't make any difference. White looks great on a corvette. Got a white 427 60th anniversary with black wheels myself. Black looks great on a corvette too. Gray? I don't see it. It's all the rage these days with every car maker putting it on a car. In ten years we will look back and say, "Remember when we thought this gray color scheme was cool?". Putting frosty vinyl clear wrap over a crappy color won't make it appealing. Adding a cool name for it, "stealth", is even more ridiculous.

That was a different car also in for ppf, look again it has yellow calipers. The color is hypersonic grey on that one.
No no no! I have a Sea Wolf Grey Z06 and I think you would be taking away from the metal flake and in my opinion it looks silver! Just my opinion

No Stealth wrap. Clear wrap is the way to go. That glossy battleship grey is absolutely beautiful. Clear wrap for the paint chip protection.

Don't do it. The Sea Wolf Grey is worth seeing as intended. Stealthing it is not wise

Keep the Sea wolf grey! hes going to lose the Metal flake that pops. But his car, will look good either way but the gloss is better im my opinion.

Stay with the gloss!!! Stealth is too flat for a car that is supposed to be flashy. The stealth is NOT equal to the flash of a Z06.
