  • This is something I have wanted to make for about 3-4 years.
    Tri Corner - Trifecta bowl!
    Making my own exotic plywood from scratch and fading them into a design was a lot of work but very enjoyable. Woodturning had been a hobby but something I would like to do more of.

    Kris, for someone who claims to be "not a professional wood turner", that bowl is a work of Freaking Art! You must have nerves of tungsten to turn that bowl!
    Kudos to you Sir as well for always wearing proper safety gear for everything, that sets a very good example to any viewers and obviously ensures your own safety. The best way I have heard it described is "you only have 1 pair of eyes, lungs and ears and you need all 3 pairs, so you need to protect them".
    Thanks for sharing! 🙂😎😎😎😎❤

      @timwilde4200 3 месяца назад

      Absolutely agree. Sadly, though many do go to the trouble of protecting their eyes, when it comes to their hearing it's another matter. I cringe at the manner in which I see people go about work that will slowly chip away at their hearing but pay it no mind, simply because it's not something that hits them significantly or overnight. Ten or fifteen years later they're struggling to pick up conversations in busy restaurants, losing the dialogue against the background noise, and wondering why. I say all that as someone who has lost a significant amount of my hearing, though that was from many years of working at the industrial level in the mining industry, and despite the fact I used to take all the necessary measures to protect my hearing.

    Watching this process was thrilling, especially in anticipation of the finished product. You sir are an artist, and you have created a work of art - a museum piece really. Maybe you should be a professional wood turner ... Thank you for enriching my life today.

    Magnificent concept, excellent videography, if you’re an amateur still learning I can’t wait to see what else you can do. It helps to have the right tools and you certainly put them to good use. Very impressive, beautiful work.

    Bonjour, vous pas un tourneur professionnel, mais c'est vous qu'il le dites. Il y a des professionnels et il y a des créateurs, la différence est juste là. Si le créateur est aussi un passionné du bois alors là, nous avons ces magnifiques objets qui prennent forme sous nous yeux. Bravo et merci de nous offrir ce spectacle. A+

    I can't imagine what you'd be like if you were a professional woodturner. Man this looked complex and required a lot of head scratching. In the end the result is absolutely beautiful. Great video.
