I wanted a job with the Chargers as long as I've been alive. I am a movement practioner but I'd be willing to shine helmets or anything. These guys are so lucky. Man.
Yeah but between the times they get new jersey they have to keep the ones they have looking good if they got them after every week that would be expensive
When I was 15 years old (1997 season) I worked as a ballboy for the Chargers. Chris and KD were awesome dudes to work with. Glad to see they're all doing well. Go Chargers!
I'm from San Diego. As a kid I always liked watching my dad get the tv ready for the chargers. He would always tell me about how the game worked and certain players. I developed a love for many sports because of it. He supported his team he knew soo well not because of every player but because he loved his city. All in all I've found that's what it's all about. I dont know about now but San Diego has a proud people but sometimes you need a fresh start.
I’ve been working in aircrew flight equipment in the military for almost ten years . I Deal with repairing pilot helmets, body armor, survival vest, good amount of sewing (ex. Aircraft curtains, engine jet covers, etc), repairing O2 masks, and many other things. This would be an awesome job, do you think what I do now would look good on my resume? I don’t have a degree. On top of that I’m obsessed with the NFL. I’m a jersey fanatic and collect. Those jerseys may be 3-5 hundred to make, if you buy one though that are specifically tailored like to Rivers you’ll be spending over $1000. They don’t sell these at the NFL shop, the only way to get them is either NFL auction page, Ebay , or just being givin one by a player. I had a couple pro cut jerseys, I had a Rodgers, Julio Jones, and a Gronk. I spent over $5K combined for those 3 no joke

good for that lady, i hope she is paid well because she does alot for that team. also for her age i hope they are understanding towards her and her needs.
Not really, for a team that has never been in the SB and never will and that dumpy stadium the play in! I can think of better jobs then that like Taco bell! Nothing fun about doing Laundry and loading up semis!!!

As a long time wearhouse employee, I feel a connection with these guys. No one knows you exist. I remember having the same conversation with several people. "Oh, you work at UPS? So you wear short shorts, brown socks and deliver boxes?". No, I'm one of the 4,000 people back at the hub that made sure your box got on the truck so the driver could bring it to you and take the glory. But honestly, I wouldn't want it any other way.
I’m a Bills fan till I die and think that we have the best colors in the NFL, but in my opinion the Chargers hands down have the best uniforms in the NFL and that’s not even a debate. Everyone has their own opinions and I respect it, but those bolt helmets with the numbers underneath it and those uniforms are just fire 🔥. Not to mention Justin Herbert is a future stud.
It is definitely a hard job, but don’t mistake how valued these ppl are to the players. In all sports one of the most important things players are taught is to respect all the arena staff and especially the trainers/equipment staff.
Steve Balistreri if you have the time check out the patriots’ video about the staff, Bill Belicheck praises their staff, and a cool bit of info is the average equipment manager makes about $90,000 per year
Equipement staff, physios, trainers etc.. Are highly respected members of a profesional sports organization. They have better than average salaries, and many regularly receive valuable gifts from grateful and appreciative players.
Their way of job seems to be way better and reliable than hotel services. While I was watching this video, I remember hotel staff's preparations and handlings of equipment, luggage and so on.
See this helps makes players look less bad for not giving away all the jerseys and equipment after a game to a kid I always wonder why they don’t see how much work it puts into it changes my view
I love that seamstress lady. At the same time I have to think, do they really go through that many jerseys to be make having an on staff seamstress make financial sense? Or is she just someone they pay by the job and not salaried? Either way, great work!
holly I have never knew that jersey got made on the spot I always thought Nike had bunch on them send to the team just for them to add the numbers and names

The seamstress seems like a woman who takes such great pride in her work. Cool to see these behind the scenes staff highlighted.
I bet she's also a cat lady.
That's amazing see this lady working hard, great to see behind
Billy D I mean she had a dog next to her but you can’t be sure I guess
should’ve said seams for the pun
She would be a great team grandma for them
Holy shit I always thought they got new jerseys every week. Unsung heroes indeed
Oliver Gustafsson lowkey tho
Oliver Gustafsson that would cost them soooo much money
Oliver Gustafsson My brother works for the broncos and he says that they get new jerseys at least 5-10 times a year and have at least 2-3 helmets

They have 16 jerseys if they lose one

supersonickoolaid right? Where do I sign up!
I am a Packers fan, but you have to salute each team's equipment staff. Without them, nothing would happen.
I’m an eagles fan and the Chargers are one team that I’m rooting for in the AFC. They have the talent to win some games in January!
Makes you step back and appreciate the strong core behind the scenes what you don’t see on tv
lol great vid but my inner av geek has to say: Thats a 767 not a 757...
