I love this series of videos, and it’s nice to see the guys who do the behind the scenes work get some appreciation, because it really seems like a thankless job
"You cant say that...!" These guys can, they earn this right every f... working day! Thx for a short look behind the scenes. I remember Baker joking with Jeff last season.
This is the first time I've seen a football break-in where they go straight from the bag to mudding, without the shaving cream and oil conditioner stage. Maybe there was a "brush the orange wax off" the ball stage, but didn't really look like it where you saw the manager mudding the ball - it looked fresh out of the bag. Definitely looks well oiled after the mud has been brushed off. I swear, Lena Mud must be on every NFL ball manager's shelves.
From TN. I like this video because one my father is from Ohio and two I was a football equipment in high school. One of the best experiences I've had in my life. I loved going to the practices with the players and helping them stay hydrated. I loved the smell of the fresh cut grass and the fieldhouse. Helping organize, stock, and clean. I was blessed to be behind the scenes. Edit: I also miss the 45 min - 1 hour bus trips to the different counties. One of them I got to ride in a charter bus for the first time.
@@ctwn2166 no because their isn't any other videos on the equipment staff douche bag. I don't give shit about a team that is only known for losing and embarising themselves.
As I am watching this I am a big fan of the browns and we are flying out of Pittsburgh for my vacation and I have planned to where my browns Jersey while we are out there
That is MLB "mud" that is sourced at a secret location on the banks of the Delaware river. It is used to rub each MLB ball used in-game. Pretty cool to see it in the NFL.
Working the balls you have no idea how big a difference it is now from when I played we couldn’t touch the ball when I came into the league ...no wonder the record field goals and passing percentages are going through the roof
No it's not. The Myles Garrett incident took place on November 14th. This game was the 2nd game on December 1st. It even shows you in the video the date of this game. Check the schedule. Fight took place the 1st game.
The amount of money just in keeping these teams burn thru just to keep the teams equipped throughout the season must be staggering. Footballs, jerseys, cleats, gloves, helmets and helmet repairs, etc
Baker says it right equipment managers do not get the love they deserve. im the high school equipment manager and if your not affilieated with the team you think the field and everything just happens they dont give you the love
Having bigger gear won't exactly guarantee better safety. You can make the argument that the larger mass of the player moving at the same speed with smaller gear will generate more force. Also, larger pads wont allow articulation of the shoulders or head, which could result in more injuries.
Is it just me or does everyone love looking at the helmets and jerseys up close
Edison Arana no no it’s just you
No that’s just your fetish
Tom Cunniffe only Myles garret
I like watching porn
Same
Must be nice to work for them. You don’t have to work after week 17 so you get to start your vacation super early
Savage!!
Trevor Hockman boy u do funny 😂😂😂
Ha 😂😂🤣🤣
Got em
Lmbooooo

fax
You know you love your team when you sit around watching videos of the equipment staff. Baker should get a Chapstick endorsement.
I’m only watching this one cuz the giants don’t
So much respect to all equipment managers they work so hard
At least someone prepares something in Cleveland
these guys have the dream job I didn't know I wanted.
I wanna see the medical staff next!
LOL, bakers gotta be all over that one
Did they ever make it?
Medical staff are too busy trying to put the guys back together after getting blown up every Sunday.
As an equipment manager, I appreciate this video and the love shown to the guys behind the scenes.
BUFFALO BILLS FAN HERE...
Awesome work guys, Go Brownies! The Dog Pound!
Ngl win or lose it's all about the sportsmanship and hard work each staff member puts in to make the team that more special.
You equipment managers are just as important as the players. Its nice to get recognition here.
Looks like the equipment staff put in more work than the players lmao
😂😂😭
Truth
Rip 🤣😂
Can y’all say that now the browns are 7-3
This didn’t age well.
They forgot the hours of crying in between
lol

Brad deserves more praise. For real!!
Here in 2021!! Im so proud of the browns
Must of been fun getting those helmets ready to throw at Big Ben
This is a good video! Really makes you think about how much work goes into the game before and afterwards
Shoutout to this guys so underrated
Jameis Winstons Equipment Staff be polishing balls 24/7
awesome video, much respect to the guys behind the scenes with every team. this would be a very interesting job i think - good work fellas.
What a great guy to work for. Real gentleman.
I love behind the scenes. At least somebody knows what they're doing in Cleveland. Here's to next season.

Have the equipment team start on Sunday.
For the first time, they are gonna work overtime
The crying towels, the maxi pads.. The walk of shame , going down and up to the locker areas ,
Imagine doing all this just to lose
But at the same time u getting paid to lose
That is like 31 teams. Only 1 wins at the end of the day.
Imagine being asian asf and cant see with those eyes lmao
raymond Uchiha ...
Imagine losing early and getting weeks added to your vacation
Idk why it’s so funny to me that Mayfield stores chapstick in his helmet
I started doing that also because I also be going true a lot of chapsticks and it’s actually a good idea
I like how he said “I don’t like to fail”when he literally works for the Cleveland Browns

Good episode. I had no idea the work taken to prep the footballs. Or tape on the pads.
Only the browns can have all the talent in the world and still manage to have a losing season. I feel bad for those fans and that city
Alberto Saldana it’s only been 20 years 😂
Why are u even watching browns videos. Oh I know u are a closet browns fan. It's ok the cat is out the bag now douche bag
@@ctwn2166 no because their isn't any other videos on the equipment staff douche bag. I don't give shit about a team that is only known for losing and embarising themselves.
I’m sure Freddie always used to fuck up everything in the Locker like the bags or something
LET GO BROWNS
Pray for Cleveland who lost to bengal rip
i hope baker does good in caralina
this is alot of work
As I am watching this I am a big fan of the browns and we are flying out of Pittsburgh for my vacation and I have planned to where my browns Jersey while we are out there
The ball part was my favorite

LET GO BOWNS
Damnnnn, I should've scheduled an interview when they asked me too 😂🤣😂
“This is the ball there gonna catch”
Jimmy’s got the best job
would love too get a job doing this
Love my Browns .. Go Browns !
I was thinking bout the Patriot when I seen the inflation machine 😂
Haha he said “AWWW SH*T!” Yes👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽! More vids like this!
I started cracking up when he said jarvith
I LOVE CLEVLAND
This is one big family
Have a great day God love you
I always loose my chap stick to lol
Really amazing how they get Baker's ego into a helmet
Wonder what they will do with all tht old jerseys since we’re getting new uniforms
Is good job to have for sure..
The 2nd best football team in Ohio behind the buckeyes
Working the balls you have no idea how big a difference it is now from when I played we couldn’t touch the ball when I came into the league ...no wonder the record field goals and passing percentages are going through the roof
He’s worried about chapstick. That baker fits right in with the browns.
Excellent...now they just need that piece of equipment for Mayfield that makes him throw to the right team
This is cool stuff to see. You should show more off it
I'd love to see a 'making of' video of the making of one of these videos.
This is the game when Myles Garett hit Rudolph wit his helmet
rudolph the riendeir

It's not.
You know Baker didn't even like the Medical Staff, Im surprised that he hasn't blames the equipment team for having a losing season.
The amount of money just in keeping these teams burn thru just to keep the teams equipped throughout the season must be staggering. Footballs, jerseys, cleats, gloves, helmets and helmet repairs, etc
I want to live long enough to see them win a super bowl
Not happening
Eric Graves how do you know?
I would love to do this for awhile ....
1:36 he still has his chapstick 😂
Lol
Well good thing for the ball boys... Cleveland doesn’t get turnovers or touchdowns 😂😂
No when Cleveland throws an int or a fumble the other team keeps the ball 😂
0:58 that's Odell's helmet at the end
Trump 2020
If only they focused this much on being a good team
I’m surprised how they didn’t bring up how they start summer vacation in December-January every year
Baker says it right equipment managers do not get the love they deserve. im the high school equipment manager and if your not affilieated with the team you think the field and everything just happens they dont give you the love
Kitchens told them becareful because the 4 and 16 wash cycle settings tend to run long.
You forgot the giant “L” they put on every name plate in the locker room
Shut up
Ya Mason you right they forgot
you prob like the bengals so id stop talkin if i were you, im not a browns fan btw im a packers fan, just sticking up for my gf's team
Ruby Shame Just tell your gf to become a Packers fan. I can’t imagine willingly being a Browns fan
@@jit3326 ive asked her lmfao, she says nah i like my browns
Anyone else see those jordan cleats 😂
This is the playoff game
Let me be the waterboy😂👀
They should work the equipment guys into a Baker Mayfield Progressive commercial.
Damn all this hard work to fucking lose 😂😂😂😂
Michale vick started the Chapstick in helments
I wanna work for one of these teams
With that much work, I'm glad that they always get vacations in January.
I bet the panthers ball prep guys would be so mad cause cam gives out all of them
5:35.. Browns are going to have to start using cap space for footballs if they lose balls every time they turn it over.
I would love to do this
Beef taco 🌮
I’m sure Myles garret watched this video
y’all really talking trash bout them? they put in hard work also.
I have a feeling that if all the browns got a clean shave, and changed the colors of the uniform, they would win.
Whoever picks the uniform combos should before
How would you get into a job like this?
FATAL go to school
I’m interested too lol. Probably extremely hard to get a job
I’ve honestly never thought about NFL teams using Lena Blackburne...
This is the game Myles garret hot mason Rudolph with helmet
My grandpa will hook me up with football gear
NFL shoulder pads are like child sized relative to the size of the player, yet the helmets have to be super high tech and "safe." LOL!
Having bigger gear won't exactly guarantee better safety. You can make the argument that the larger mass of the player moving at the same speed with smaller gear will generate more force. Also, larger pads wont allow articulation of the shoulders or head, which could result in more injuries.
Would you rather take damage to your shoulders or your head ?
I'm an equipment coach for a high school team. You guys have a staff...I have three eight-year-olds who would rather play catch on the sidelines! LOL
If the actual organization took this type of technique, the browns would have a chance to be good lol....
this did not age well
