The life of a touring production. I'm in a band that's done a lot of touring, and the real heroes aren't the people you see on stage but the people behind the scenes putting everything together and making sure it all runs smoothly!
Mike Wayne definitely all work and no free time during the season...I doubt you can even enjoy the games fixing equipment and running for stuff. Lots of work may even deserve more $$
This dude and the rest of the equipment staff work their BALLS off. It's cool as hell to see guys like Coach Belichick, Gronk, and McCourty giving them a ton of credit. The Pats organization really is run like a military outfit, where everybody is prepared, does their jobs, and excellence is the only acceptable level of performance. So much admiration for these folks and their work ethic.
It's amazing what we all take for granted that goes into making a team work. We see the end product on Sunday afternoon; however, a great deal of work goes into game day. This fine young man has worked incredibly hard for his team and is a credit not just to the Patriots, but the entire league, too. Well done!
hard work doesn't pay off in life. smart work does. the people who work hard are those field laborers and coal miners. dangerous hard work. the smart people make millions on wall street in suits.
The man has his act together. He’s brilliant. Did this in college, decades ago for the university basketball team. Loved it. But on his level. He’s King . Retired now, would love to do it again.
lol That's the Patriots for you. " I see you can return punts, play both cornerback and wide receiver, but how are your video editing skills? We're afraid you might not be versatile enough for this team."
I think I finally met the first New England Patriots Member I like and respect :) But seriously, what a dedicated and awesome guy to have on your team.
Crazy stuff, if this guy fucks up on a road game it's a huge deal. Never thought about these guys that much but their role is so essential. Dope that the Pats organization is making videos like this, gotta acknowledge all the cogs in this winning machine.
*Press Conference for Equipment Guy after the Game* _Reporter_ : So, tell me, what can you say about the win today? _Brendon_ : Well, thank you Jeff. Yeah, yeah today was a team win. You know? We all worked hard today and got the job done. _Reporter_ : Um who are you again? _Brendon_ : Yes, you know Head Coach put the game in my hands and you know Tom helped his team by getting the ball down the field. _Reporter_ : Right, Tom Brady threw for 543 yards, 6 TDs and ran for 127 yards, he helped the team immeasurably. But I'll rephrase... who are you exactly? _Brendon_ : Oh my name is Brendon. I'm the Head Equipment Manager of the New England Patriots NFL Team. _Reporter_ : Right. But why are yo... _Brendon_ : Good question thanks Jeff. Well as my mentor and life coach Big Bill, as I call him, said you just got to do your Job. My job today was you know, replacing the shoes and face masks, getting the players hydrated with high quality H20 but you know, the team really stepped up today. A player yelled WATER and I didn't even need to squirt it in his mouth, he just got up and got it himself. That's a team play right there. Stepping forward we just need to keep playing as a team and it's on the Jacksonville next week. _Reporter_ : Yeah but why are you here after a win, in a room, taking questions from us reporters? _Brendon_ : Thanks Jeff. That's all I got, like I said you know, just a big team win today and it's on to Jacksonville next week.
Awesome to see what other people in the organization do. What a classy move giving us insight into what Brendan does. The classiest organization in sports!
Thats a hard job. But at the same time awesome. They get to know the whole team and travel with them around the country. i would love to have that job. Go Pats!!!!
imagine seeing the president every day. and people like his elevator guy and chef in the white house actually do. you get used to anything in life after a short time. the novelty wears off.
So.... my son is looking for a job... He's 19 and in good shape and knows a lot about all this stuff too. Any openings? Also, did this guy get a ring too? #DoYourJob #Patriots
One of the unsung heroes on a professional team. He looks relaxed in the interview but it's a very demanding job. Aside from having to look after the needs (no matter how outlandish) of 150 players, coaches, and staff, he and his staff have to deliver with a certain demeanor because it can have an effect on how the team performs. That's why he dried the sweat off that player's shoe.
From some of the stories it seems as though some players abuse this poor guy. "I got sweat in my shoe i need a new one or can you wipe it?" Thats rediculous but dude is making good money working for the nfl
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha....hahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Your cheater jokes are so fucking hilarious!! Hold on, let me get ahold of my sides again. Ok here we go Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha... Fucking brilliant...
Joey dickson unless you’re the patriots official plane creator you’re just a plane mechanic that did a job and have zero affiliation with team so why should anyone care
Blows my mind how much work is involved
The life of a touring production. I'm in a band that's done a lot of touring, and the real heroes aren't the people you see on stage but the people behind the scenes putting everything together and making sure it all runs smoothly!
Mark Jordan yeah the equipment team sure does know when to get involved and deflate the ball so they can sneak a win.
artmusic41 yea, why didn’t the Seahawks run the ball?
damn it, they should have!
work = money to be made = great news in a capitalist society
It's crazy I went to school with Brendan my whole life, seeing him being the equipment manager for the pats is crazy. He's a good dude def deserves it
The average salary for equipment NFL manager is $87,000. Good for him.
Mike Wayne well shit if his ass runs around all the time for some picky ass players then he deserves it
Mike Wayne definitely all work and no free time during the season...I doubt you can even enjoy the games fixing equipment and running for stuff. Lots of work may even deserve more $$
not to mention if times get tough he can sell those diamond rings cause we KEEP WINNING
Stephen Pfaff wait... they get rings too... sign me up for equipment manager

Lmao
Indeed, he does look a lot like him...

Matthew Slater is a true national treasure. A leader a role player who is lacks an ego and takes a huge amount of pride in his position on the team.
This guy deserves every dollar he makes and even more. I hope the players appreciate him
Do these guys get superbowl rings? Cause they should
rdawodu they do
Most of them actually do. It's cool
rdawodu anybody that has anything to do with the daily activities of the team gets a championship ring.
All the team staff get rings
Omg all the gear in that equipment room is like Heaven
A player requested that he dry a drop of sweat off his shoes so he can play. Are you serious!!
Jason Cross ikr a little ridiculous

Im an eagles fan, nice to see behind the scenes stuff like that. Respect to all the "Brandon's of the world" out there
Fwirs Yep. #FlyEaglesFly. Why I’m here... I have no clue. I just like to replay Brandin Cooks getting smacked by Malcolm Jenkins in my mind.
7:13 bill don't know how to smile 😂😂😂😂
You just saw the Bill Belichick equivalent of raucous laughter. What more do you want?
He looked in pain trying to smile 😂 probably saying to himself “ouch lemme stop smiling real quick”
Murph to think we went to school and played football together you make Falmouth proud bro

Slater. From special teams to narration; he does it all. lol

Thank you guys, we appreciate you !
Normally I hate the Patriots, but this dude and his crew are alright
@Keith and thats why everybody hates the patriots because people like you, be humble dude
My dad was from New England so we like the patriots my mom still likes the 49ers.
I don't hate the patriots even though I'm a cowboys fan and seahawks.
I think I finally met the first New England Patriots Member I like and respect :) But seriously, what a dedicated and awesome guy to have on your team.
Imagine working all day and then coming home to the wife asking you to fold the laundry
@snipe69 bro 😂
He’d be the worlds fastest laundry folder!
I was expecting some feminist response 😂
Blow jobs balls deep first and swallowing before any laundry gets done.
Yes
Everything fits like a puzzle with the equipment manager. He's exactly where he suppose to be in life. Big 🎉 to him on his career choice. Go,Pats💯🥰🏈👍🏾
I can only imagine how ungodly that equipment room must smell with all those sweaty jerseys and pants after a practice on a hundred degree day.
I bet it smells like 6 super bowls
I almost always reminisce about being equipment manager in high school. I love the production.
Which one of these guys deflated the balls in the colts game?
Which one of you san fran fruitcakes used to jerkoff so jerry rice could have his stick-um each game?

I give this dude and all his counterparts mad props

Much respect to the equipment manager of the New England Patriots. His my MVP. Because the Bible says that is better to serve than to be served. Amen
I love you, New England Patriots.
7:31 Hey Brendan, you´ve a good arm !!!.
As Pat mexican fan, I really appreciate your valious job for the team !!!.
Not a Patriots fan but I can see they are very dedicated and organized from a #hawks fan
I’d love to spend some time in that equipment room. Been a Patriots fan for 12 years and I still don’t have any gear lol. Keep doing your job fellas.

Dustin Platt lmao that was gold!
Tom Brady would never run for 127 yards! 🤣
Dustin Jeffrey Platt Dustin, bruh ,, Classic, loved your comment - humor and,,, on to Jacksonville 😆
Can't believe you missed the opportunity to bring up how much of teamwork to deflate the balls to just the right pressure.
Awesome to see what other people in the organization do. What a classy move giving us insight into what Brendan does. The classiest organization in sports!
Lmao we play the colts this week and they post this😆😂
Definitely a dream job. This man has taken a great opportunity and worked hard to be successful at it. Cool story!

Wow this was great, back in the old days there were 3 of us, George , Donny and me lol. God bless these guys because I know how hard they work.
No big deal seeing Tom every day. Just another day at the office
imagine seeing the president every day. and people like his elevator guy and chef in the white house actually do. you get used to anything in life after a short time. the novelty wears off.

So.... my son is looking for a job... He's 19 and in good shape and knows a lot about all this stuff too. Any openings? Also, did this guy get a ring too? #DoYourJob #Patriots
Everybody on the team gets a ring. And yes including the ball boy and water boy.
Asama B Ladin the water boys are actually the trainers
that is correct
Asama B Ladin and the ball boys are normally equipment staff.
This is probably one of the few videos that I see Bill smile!!
What’s goin on st 6:49
my god, i would not miss a single day of work if this was my job, looks awesome
Don't forget the deflated footballs and the camcorders
Huge job with so much to do, excellent work and keep the boys rolling. The hardest jobs are often the ones you never see.

You guys did this to troll the colts 😂😂😂
Beno’s Bops I’m a colts fan and this was a great video
Even the equipment managers are Elite. I love my patriots.
I wonder if they get paid as much as the cheerleaders.
Average salary is about $50,000. Cheerleaders are lucky to make 15-20k. They literally make nothing.
Mean while....
no you’re way off with both of them
They make like $50 a game
The average salary for Equipment Managers is $87,000. Him working for the Patriots; it's probably more.
I feel like you don't quite know what the word "literally" means
WOW! What a guy! Awesome, Patriots for showing behind the scenes like this. 👏👏👏
Forgot another important task or deflating the footballs before a game
This is one of the best one I seen for equipment staff in the nfl...
I can barley afford one pair of gloves a season and nfl players get paid to waste them lol
yeah like im a sophmore in high school and ive been using the same pair of gloves since 8th grade shits rediculous
And he isnt running around with a notebook. That's all off the dome. That dude is rad
The equipment manager messed up...
He forgot to deflate the balls
He Delivers. And you can tell he takes pride in what he does.
But they didn’t show the deflation process :(
Big respect to this plus he gettin big Buck$$
