Got my 1st real estate check today! I've watched so many of your videos, the best one to go to for REP
Big congrats! That's awesome!
Moral of the video:
Be an asset, not a liability. Doing a little extra goes much further than doing the bare minimum. Nobody at the top did the bare minimum.
@@BrightResultsMedia agreed!
Carry a box of bulbs that are the same shade of white. Tell them beforehand everything needs to have the same color temperature, but if they don't do that, bring your own bulbs and charge them hourly to install and uninstall. And you'd be surprised how quickly people will swap out their bulbs before you get there when you charge them an extra $100 per 1K sq ft
Clutch tip….
Hmm I don't think many agents would like that, nor do they care about color temp issues so I personally wouldn't even consider doing this at my business, especially wouldn't consider charging them. Fast way to make clients not like us. Haha
@@itselijones Possibly, but do you change out the bulbs then for the shots or do your realtors properly pre-stage most everything correctly?
@@ShinyTechThingsyou can always adjust the whitebalance in post processing. Its 2023dude. You have the time to go around changing the lightbulbs😅

Hi Eli! I stumbled on your channel a couple weeks ago and after checking out a few of your vids I hit that subscribe button! I've been at this for about 10 years as well and we are very like-minded when it comes to how we run a business and how we treat our clients. I really admire how you have grown your company and I am just now thinking of expanding myself. You're so right about "letting go of the reigns". That is the hardest part for me. I do EVERYTHING myself and just recently have been outsourcing some of my editing. Next will be hiring a photographer or two over the next year. I've managed to grow to about 250 clients and on pace to shoot about 600 properties this year. And I have done this without any advertising or marketing, I don't have a website, I don't even have business cards. Every single client I have has come by referral and my client retention rate is probably around 95%. I tell my clients that they are my business card and their listings are my website...lol.
I think most new photographers focus too much on the photography, and not enough on customer service. I don't view myself as a "photographer". I am a problem solver. As you well know, most of the time we do not walk into a perfect situation. There are normally challenges that we have to face. Sometimes the challenge is with the property, sometimes it is with the seller, sometimes it with the agent. It is how you handle these challenges that will determine your success as a business person.
Great video and great advice!
Thank you so much for the kind words! Fun to read this and it sounds like you've built an awesome business and more importantly since most of that is referral businesses you will have strong relationships to scale with. Feel free to message me privately on Instagram if you have any questions when you begin to scale!
Hahahahhaahahah
Not my job, not your paycheck either. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Eli how’d you get so good at speaking in front of the camera? Was this skill taught to you? You’re amazing man
Thanks bro I made new cards this morning. And a price list of services. I’ve gone to at least 20 agencies today. I lost count. 20+ But I got myself out there. And made the start. Thanks for the videos. You’ve also helped me learn to edit. Even though you don’t edit lol
Very nice! Have you tried the IG method I teach?
@@itselijones checking gor it now. I do reach out through IG. even just made a new profile to be specifically for real estate.

How to get clients in LA? I've trying whole month and nothing! Even for free.😥Help needed! I'm trying IG method as well.
I dont know if youve made a video about this yet or not but reading and watching a lot of videos, everyone keeps saying "Know your worth" and people typically price their services a lot less than what they should be. How do you find a price
Hey Eli! I was wondering how you guys get Supra access for each listing. I need to get that for my business, but I’m a little confused on how it works. Any help would be great! Thank you!
It depends on your market, but in most places you join the local association of realtors and pay a monthly fee for supra access - this gives you a digital key you can use to unlock supra lockboxes!
@@itselijones ok, thank you!
How can you join if your not a realtor?
Great common sense advice…. Thank you!
