I never thought of real estate photography until we had to sell our house and I took the photos. I am a photographer but I considered myself a landscape photographer and the occasional portrait photographer. Within 48hrs, we had a buyer and a few other people who were very interested. I made sure I included photos from every angle I would want to see if it was me looking for a new home. The real estate agent encouraged me to look into it and told me I could make real good money in it. I’m just now really looking into it.
So much value in this video
I found your videos a couple weeks ago and it been the best advice out there. Thank you!
100% agree with all!
This is good stuff. I went to a shoot last year where when I walked in there was water in the foyer coming out from where the AC unit was. I opened their crawl space, got under the house and helped them locate the leak and fix it.
That agent still tells her clients about that.
Awesome Advice. I'm currently planning and mapping out how I want to sttart my photography buisness and your videos have been such a help and has given me lots to think about when planning!
Good luck man! If you ever need a VA. Count me in! 👌
Yessss!!
@itselijones Can you do a video on the exact marketing steps that we will need to take. Do i need a website or should I use Photo Pad ? Do we need to run ads ? or should I just use IG and message agents ? If you could elaborate on this , it would be greatly appreciated.
Excellent video. Thank you Eli.

Sent you DM from IG & Fb 👌
Changed playback speed to 0.75x and I'm now retaining a lot more info 😂. Looking forward to a call soon!
What website do you use to outsource your photo edits?
Do you have any terms and conditions for your shoots? There's a difference between having that and fighting your clients for rights.
I’m wondering what is the best way to send my clients the listing videos?
I’m currently using Google Drive but keep coming across problems wondering if there’s another platform that’s better
I am really wanting to jump into real estate photography. My wife is almost done getting her real estate license.
Your wife won’t pay you to do shoots
@@bensilvers3625 But she will recommend you to all realtors she comes in contact with to get you more work.
Apparently agents pay from their own pocket. I guess it’s not a big deal for them considering they get a certain percentage of the sale anyway. But you won’t be making money from here unless she decides she wants to pay you.
@@dccd673 Yes, this is 100% an agent expense, because it’s part of their marketing campaign for the property.
Which editor does he use
He has his own editor that he hired for his company. If you're starting out, independent editors would be best where you discuss a price per shoot.
@@GamingxKnight aah I must have seen his old videos
I know someone who edits photo & video
@@athan-REPVA please post their url
It’s worth learning how to do edits yourself.
Nice advice!! if anyone here looking for VA for your Real Estate Photog biz, I'm here 🤙☝️☝️
Direct message me.
@@HaydenEvora how?
It's out you charge $11,000 WHAT. Sounds like a scam to me. The sports car behind you is the lowest tactic used. SCAM
The tidying and cleaning the house is nonsense. It’s not rare in most places. Realtors will take advantage and abuse you. There is nothing special about cleaning and tidying. Anybody can do that.
Well what do u do for a living
@@harleyjames5270 I’m a RE photographer by day and LEO by night. What motivation is there for a realtor to have a home ready when they know you will do that for them? His company wouldn’t survive in most cities across the US. The only reason he’s making money is because of where he is at. He’s scamming people with his overpriced courses making them think they can replicate his garbage in small town America.
Keep that mindset and let me take your clients! 😂 there’s a way to do it without being taken advantage of. Speak up if it becomes ridiculous but basically, if you deliver a photo where everything is in place and there’s no mess, it’ll go a long way with the client.
