@@M_reapr Most of them are autogenerated. Most channels I've watched don't make full captions of what exactly is said, what sounds occur, and what music/type of music is played in the video. Mr.Saito's spiral is sooo much crazier than explained. Bro wouldn't eat, bathe, or even just be awake w/o a spiral being nearby. Bro would make whirlpools in his bathtub just so he could keep looking at it. The tub he's found in? His family didn't even know he purchased it and they couldn't find him until they noticed the tub in a corner of their home. That full page spread is one of the first times a horror book of any kind made me jolt back.
I’m just 15 minutes in, and man… I was born and raised in Alaska, and the symbolism around mental health and the town’s abandonment of the circle-obsessed townspeople AND Native Alaskan folklore around the aurora being a gateway to the “other world” where the dead go when they die… the aurora being a sky phenomena, and the circle in the sky depicting the start of the “haunting”…. Let me explain in greater detail. You know how you say that you can’t choose who you are born to, you just have to live with them? Extend that out to an entire town, and you get a glimpse of village life in remote Alaska. The Native Alaskans HAD to rely on their neighbors, no matter how much they hated them or wanted nothing to do with them, if the whole village didn’t work together everybody would freeze or starve or die of disease or worse. So what happened to people who because of a severe mental health condition… like being obsessed with circles… left them unable to work? Before modern day… they were banished from the tribe. The tribe just couldn’t afford to feed a mouth that wasn’t able to give back somehow to the tribe that birthed them. So… they abandoned them, cast them out. Or, left them behind when they migrated to follow wildlife for subsistence. This coupled with loooooong periods of absolutely nothing to do in between bouts of bad weather or simply waiting for the right time of season to get what you needed meant the environment could easily break otherwise healthy minds. If you didn’t have a family to keep you company, you had to handle the silence mostly alone. If you DID have family to keep you company, friction inevitably develops, and you had to VERY CAREFULLY manage your boundaries because living spaces were cramped and privacy was a premium. The town abandons those with the obsession. The obsession twists the victims into something unrecognizable. And they are never heard from again. And every year, more and more are drawn in, for reasons of their own… perhaps, the victims are released from the suffering that caused them to obsess over circles in the first place. And the town has no choice but to abandon those affected to their fate. It’s not that they tried to turn them away: it’s that there was nothing left to try. That video left me very, very sad 😢.
I was actually wondering about the tie-ins to the Native culture here. I know it's still fairly rich and well-known in Alaska, contrary to much of the rest of the US. The whole thing (besides obvious nods to other works that have been mentioned here) just felt like it had some kind of Indigenous story to it. Thank you for this insight as it adds such a rich layer to the whole package 😊
@@6ixthhydro652 Alaska is actually quite beautiful and something of a sanctuary for those seeking a quiet life. Things don't exactly operate like what is described above anymore. There are modern amenities and thus the harsh conditions are less severe for those who live there, but there still remains a certain sense of community as the remote areas (anywhere outside of the major cities, really) where you do have to lean on each other a bit to get by. There's certainly nobody kicking people out of towns for being mentally ill (it does tend to be an issue during the darker months). This is a retelling of what went on between the Indigenous peoples. I cannot speak to as to whether or not it still goes on, but it is by no means a reason to condemn such a beautiful place. Hope to visit one day as my husband is part Alaskan Athabaskan.
@@6ixthhydro652 lol hell nah. I was born here in Alaska and after living in a few other places came back. Few people and few natural disasters, it's great. I live near Anchorage tho so my experience is way different from someone in rural AK.
@@matthewgantner8016 so you're just ignoring everything that happens after the circles are mentioned? Like how the circles are given a reason, which never happens with the spirals in uzumaki. Uzumaki is about how the spirals affecting the town they reside in, while this story seems to have the spirit be the main focus, while the circles are just a symptom
@@resident-one1533I wouldn’t have been exposed to this series if it weren’t for nexpo’s video and the fact that it’s ongoing is an incentive for anyone who’s interested to follow the original creator to keep up with the series.
The song that plays in "THE STARVING FIVE" is called "The Dark Night," a song from WW2 about a Red Army soldier lamenting that he may never see his wife/fiancee again. Could have some thematic connections.
it’s more like the soldier hoping he’ll return safe and meet her again, there are words that basically say ‘i believe nothing will happen to me since you’re waiting for me’ and it’s like a letter he writes to his woman
18:34 The second I heard that old Russian song playing I got chills because I recently found it accidentally and did NOT expect to hear it in an analog horror
Yep, it is a sad song about a man fighting in the forest, thinking about his lover. Funny thing is, this song was controversial when it came out because it didn't depict everything as hella fire in the battlefield
41:23 something i love about this segment specifically is that, when you wear headphones, the audio actually tracks to your left and right. you’re literally *following* the music

this concept of a town being obsessed with shapes immediately reminded me of junji ito’s manga uzumaki , and i truly believe that’s where he got his inspiration for this analog . it’s just too familiar
Yeah, if you're going to borrow so much from such a famous piece of work at least do something interesting with it or have a neat spin. This just felt like a lazy rip off. "You've heard of spooky spirals... now we bring you spooky circles!"
@@Fallocaust yeah it just felt like he didn’t really do much with the story except copy the original ones idea without even giving credit . just the shape was changed everything else was the same , super boring and unoriginal
i got uzumaki vibes immediately from the description at the beginning, from the moment the obsession with circles was brought up, even the narration from ethan began in a way similar to how uzumaki introduces you to the story, so happy to see it was actually brought up in the video!
I'll be honest... I adore Analog Horror, but I am getting so sick of this trend of creators uploading a few parts of their story, leaving it on a cliffhanger, then cancelling the project because it didn't get enough exposure. I just go in assuming none of these are going to be finished now. And on that same note, what is up with Liminal Land? Is that cancelled? Or am I missing the content somewhere?
I'm an absolute noob on analog horror. I only just learned about the tearm via looking into Skinamarink. Who should I watch or follow for more content like that?
The story of The Starving Five - what with people trapped in a remote cabin in the cold after their car died - feels a bit like it's invoking the story of the Yuba County Five.
Just wanted to say, as someone with increasing visual impairment, your coverage of series' like this is allowing me to continue to enjoy horror that is slowly becoming inaccessible. It's not a perfect alternative to described video, but it helps *a lot.* So, thanks.
Why is nobody talking about his black eye? Is he okay? I’ve been subscribed for the last 4-5 years. Absolutely love you, Nick Crowley, and NightMind. Keep up the divine work Nexpo 3:36
A thing I really like of this analoge horror, is the fact that there’s pretty much no jump scares! Its horror is purely made through amazing visual and auditory design!
Circles was truly just Uzumaki. For anyone who enjoyed that part, I highly recommend reading Uzumaki, it gets crazy! I feel bad saying it, but this one felt pretty stale. I wasn't very immersed past Circles, and that's just because it was copying something I enjoyed. Probably just a matter of taste though, I'm not sure. If you enjoyed it, that's good! While it wasn't my cup of tea, I sincerely wish the creator luck if they decide to continue with this project! I'm glad you enjoyed it and I'm glad they got some extra exposure c: Edit: Again, it's just not MY thing, everyone has different tastes and that's especially true for horror. I'm glad others enjoy it so much and that's a very good thing!
Same reason I consider the entire genre of “animatronic mascot murderer/haunting” to not be as good as other works, it’s inherently derivative and unoriginal. Essentially just fanfiction.
@@scott_huntsI can't go as far as you but I don't think mascot horror has enough ground to be a whole ass genre, as it has been treated. When the kids like my kids age get older, it will either crater, have a temporary Renaissance, or both.
I'm trapped in my apartment building because of the ice in eastern Kansas right now. I fell trying to go to work and injured myself. This video is exactly what I need while I mope in my recliner. Edit: I'm doing alright now. I took a step and the next thing I knew I was looking at the sky. I fell so hard I crushed the clasps on my bra and bruised a rib. Nothing's broken. Stay safe out there! In fact, stay home unless you absolutely have to go out!! XD
HA! Central KS here. My house is just a block up from a busy residential intersection and I've been seeing and hearing cars squealing, sliding and crashing through the red lights since 3pm.
Mr. Nexpo, if there's one thing I can definitely say about your videos, it's that your intro is absolutely divine. The vibe is second to none in my humble opinion.
Before I get going: I love the Nexpo channel and his videos are always well made and entertaining. But this isn't really analog horror. It's a bunch of horror clichés from the past few years with a VHS filter over it. It's middling quality prose for narration over a creepy artbook. Flashing red text over a creepy drawing is just too on the nose. The creator has some talent and I hope they continue to refine it, but this is worse than The Winter of 83. The imagery they created is very cool on its own, and they should be proud of it. Again, no smoke toward Nexpo or the original creator, but this was gassed up too much for what it is.
I thought 1hr 18mins might be pushing it, and yep, 27mins in and I'm really over it. I tried cause it's Nexpo, but these analog horror ARG things are just friggin lame. I'm with quite a few other commenters who wish he'd just go back to doing true crime type stories. 🤷♂🙄😕
Yeah yhere's a bit too much going on. The audio is very compressed but quiet. It gets straining. I normally like Nexpo's video, but this story is a bit weak, and is trying to overcompensate in the editing.
@@28russ you know Nexpo started out with only doing ARGs, right? he only recently dived into real world stuff like true crime. hope he never did it cause it attracted idiots like you, true crime is the most boring form of content.
I saw your video 2 wks ago 4hrs after it was posted and wanted to get home ASAP to liten to it while get some work done. Unfortunately I really got busy with work and family matters that I forgot all about it. Finally today I was able to get some time and have to admit glad it took this long to hear this doc because I was able to enjoy it even more. Thanks!
The song played at 18:27 is Mark Bernes' "Temnaya Noch". To my understanding its an old soviet war song about a man singing about his lover during a battle.
Perhaps the 'underexpsoure' cited in the series cancelation was indicitive of the story's quality. Some really great visuals and cool atmosphere, but man if the story is lacking idk what the creator expected.
Just listen multiple times. I don't get to watch supereyepatchwolf's multihour long videos because I use them to pass time at work but I've probably heard some videos 10+ times because I enjoy them.
I'm glad you still post and find projects. I love the way you present it and all the research you put into these videos. This video really got me into this genre again. It's such a good story, no plot hole and feels all very real
I know the Analogue Horror genre is highly iterative but watching this I got distracted by seeing a patchwork of themes and ideas from past projects; Deer skull wearing eldritch entity (CH/SS, Greylock, anything with "skin walkers" or Leshy), investigation in a very cold isolated area (Winter of '83), the follow the song section feeling very like the "Feed the woods" in Gemini Home Entertainment, cryptic messages from an antagonistic eldritch entity (Marble Hornets, ECKVA, Local 58), long lingering static shots of spooky locales (Skinamarink, I'm shaking my fist at you). I think killer issue here is a lack of a hook, right now it's a collage of spooky cogs and gears with nothing to make them go. The greek myth angle is novel but with the Flutist most people are going to think of the Pied Piper of Hamlin, also I can't place where this is happening? Is it Russia or America?
I think you’ve struck upon a solid point as to why many of these analogue horror series fall flat to me. Too many of them jump around the story they’re trying to tell to such a huge degree that it feels like they’re abandoning plotlines to introduce new ones rather than logically following the groundwork they’re laying. The first chapter of this video had me pretty hooked, because I think Uzumaki is neat and was interested to see how this series would put its own spin on the tale. And then it completely pivots into an entirely different subgenre right after that, seemingly abandoning the mystery of the circles. Hell, even after completing this video, I still don’t see how any of this relates to the flutist or the skeletal entity. It all feels like half-finished ideas that the creator couldn’t think of a way to follow through on.
I think part of the problem is Nexpo's presentation. He's trying to sell us on the idea that this is all one big narrative, but the original creator's channel itself labels them as two distinct series. "VHS Tales" and "Oakburn Opus". Aside from taking place in the same universe I didn't get the impression these stories were meant to be related at all. VHS Tales seems to be a collection of just small one off horror stories, while Oakburn Opus is the big multi part story that actually has continuity between the episodes.
I like the production put into these videos and usually watch them even if I'm not interested in the subject matter, but I must admit that I find analogue horror (and, indeed, most modern horror) to be rather dull and contrived. Frankly, I don't think this story is any different. Despite liking fiction, I almost always prefer non-fiction stories of this kind. If it's not believable, I immediately tune out of a story.
So many things that seemed inaccurate and immersion breaking. Crickets in the audio even though they aren't found in Alaska? A town as small as Ittosiviik probably wouldn't have it's own police department, it would have Alaska State Troopers. It's an interesting story though. I'm just a nitpick.
Slight nitpick but more just a fun bug fact: there are actually 13 species of crickets found across southern Alaska! And honestly even in a small town like that, something like a sheriff’s office could very well be feasible. I grew up in a town of less than 500 and even we had a sheriff’s office. It’s up to each individual jurisdiction and town budget since the leads for PDs and SDs are elected positions.
Not a terrible video, but honestly I don't see anything that stands out about this compared to all the other analog horror. It's interesting sure, and the visuals are nice but not exactly outstanding. The biggest thing here really is that, all of this doesn't really feel like it fits together at all. Just like so many other analog horrors, it really feels like a collage of random spooky ideas thrown together, without too much actual thought put into a coherent story, narrative, or even an end goal. Which leads to most of these ARGs just sorta stringing it's audience along and then never getting an actual conclusion. They just give up making it from lack of attention, and then hope some RUclips channel like Nexpo will come along and basically write the plot for them trying to piece together all the vague spookiness. This one really felt like that, a random collection of analog horor cliches dumped into a few videos, waiting for someone to make it into something for them. I hope the creator of this analog horror actually comes back to this and turns it into something worth while, as there are some definite potential with all this. But it requires actually piecing together an actual story and planning a narrative with an actual end point.
A lot of analogue horror i find i pretty mediocre for these reasons. Likewise, a lot of "ARGs" really feel like a watering down of the name because there isn't much game or interactivity. Ilovebees they ain't
you've genuinely become my favorite commentator when it comes to these dark/horror/whatever you wanna call it topics - i get so excited when i see that you've uploaded. how much effort and work you put into your videos, how much you genuinely care about your audience - you're awesome, man. thank you for everything you do.
@resident-one1533 I would just like to say the amount of times I've watched Nexpo's content and gotten intrigued over what he's explained and showed is insane, and I've always went to the original work that he always credits and checked it out by it's source. I'm more than glad videos like this exist to debunk things I don't get or to get a new outlook on it. If they're small creators, then their work is being put through a massive outlet instead of dying off because nobody will pay mind to it or show appreciation for it. It's passion behind his videos, and you can tell. Small creators and big creators alike work together to show affection and passion for a project. Sit down 🙏‼️
girl what? did you even watch all the way through? nex encourages us multiple times to go check out RED’s stuff - he calls it “mastercraft”, and “can’t wait to see where it goes”. RED’s channel is in the description, and you can see how many people came from this video to support him - i subscribed, and left a like and comment on his most recent episode. get your unfounded negativity outta here 😭😭 edit: bro deleted their comment 💀
Another incredible video from Nexpo but im surprised you didnt mention the pretty obvious inspiration of the Pied Piper of Hamelin for the Oakburn Flutist. Hamelin had a bad rat problem and the Piper offered his help. His song entranced the rats, leading them out of their hideouts to follow the Piper and then walk into a river. After this was down however, the townsfolk refused to pay the Piper. As revenge he used his song on their children, entrancing them to leave their homes in the night and walk into the river, just like the rats before them
Great to see another well-executed video from Nexpo. Oakburn is also well executed, and I'd like to see more.... although, if I'm being honest, Nexpo, I feel your praise for it is a *little* on the high side... it essentially is "rip off Spiral, rip off the Wendigo, rip off the Pied Piper with a dash of Greek mythology, and then rip off Lovecraft with the 'sleeping drowned city' trope." It's well done, but it sorely lacks originality.
I'm going to have to agree with pretty much everything you said here. It is well done, but it's extraordinarily dependent on a lot of "lore" belonging to other things.
I love the 'save points'. Nexpo is the only creator who makes me feel so cosy and cared for while also describing viscerally disturbing horros beyond our comprehension. Thanks! :)
As much as I love analog horror, I can’t really find a place to sink my teeth in with this one, weirdly enough. It has so many premises and chances to catch a hook (ie. the circle phenomenon, then the starving 5, then the village of Oakburn, then the murders), but it fails. It’s like I’m grasping for straws trying to figure out what this story is even about, and I can’t comprehend what could tie all of these things together. Not to mention, there seems to be more about these characters and how they all relate, but I really can’t tell how. Like, how are the five a group? How do they know each other? Obviously no hate to the creator or to Nexpo, but hopefully someone gets what I mean by this kinda has me lost.
@@honeyfangz Alaska was sold by Russia to the US back in the 1800s, I think there’s still a long-standing Russian population there to this day. So the Russian names make sense in this case even though it’s technically in America.
13:27 As soon as the premise of this analog horror was brought up I instantly was like "this sounds like something Junji Ito would make" so to see you bring it up here is funny to me lol
Great video… but I have to be honest. I miss the REAL mysteries. ARGs are obviously fake and they provide for little to no real world wondering/speculation/relating. Are we out of actual mysteries? Are there just fictional stories remaining? I don’t think I’m alone in feeling this way either. I would LOVE to see your rendition of the S.O.S. mystery in Mount Asahi, Japan. I feel like you could do something with that to make it even more spectacular than the others that have covered it. ❤
As much as I love watching RUclips essays dissecting popular analog horrors, I also love giving attention to web series that aren't lucky enough to receive any spotlight from the RUclips algorithm. It's something popular essayists are uniquely able to do.
No disrespect to the creator of oakburn opus nor Nexpo, if anything I want to encourage them to continue making stuff, But really? Was this series really worth a video?
gonna need pt 2 to be mind blowing, getting bored of the 'analogue' horror genre and this just feels like someone took a pile of AH series', picked an idea or two from each and smashed them together with no real thought to it
I love your content, but please, please, PLEASE stop with the long pauses in between dialogue. The content is scary, it can speak for itself. Trying to force scare factor onto it just makes it seem cheap.
Good video quality as usual but honestly it's just so hard to get interested into these Analouge/ARG videos. I know there's only so many real life stories to cover but the real stories just feel so much more interesting.Doesn't help that this story isn't finished yet and was honestly not very interesting
unfortunately i agree however it’s the really long pauses that do it for me. i’ve been noticing over time the pauses get longer and longer😭. i thought i was jus bein a baby (maybe i am) but i even checked reddit about this and seems to be an on going thing about people disliking the ARG’s and the pauses.
I thought I was only one who noticed, but I guess other people in the comments beat me to it. Seems to me, this style of presentation isn't exactly what people are looking for when a content creator wants to recommend a good video game, ARG, or Horror series. Maybe the vibe is just too serious for works of fiction, the documentary/internet slooth style of your vids just don't seem to jive with the everyone in the audience, when paired with content you're discussing that is not a legit internet mystery, and or unsolved mystery. Judging by the view count though, I guess a lot, if not the majority of ppl still enjoy it.
I’ve been watching Nexpo since.. probably 2020? 2021? Have always adored his content but man, I miss the old stuff. Like disturbing things from around the internet, for example. Maybe I’m alone in this but I don’t really enjoy sitting through another review of another creator’s work - especially this one, maybe because I just don’t get it. I don’t know. But I won’t say I’m not mildly disappointed, sorry :(
Same here, super old sub from back in the good ol' days. Modern Nexpo videos feel boring imo. There's no individual internet detective work put in. This video is purposefully elongated commentary on someone else's video, which is a copy of a Japanese work. Just too lame and unoriginal.
19:49 December 21st is also the winter equinox and is considered a rather sacred day in many ancient pagan faiths, particularly as relates to mysticism and magic.
I can tell what wendigoon videos the author watched while making these. If youre an author please seek out poetry and movies and experience them on your own, chances are the audiences youre attracting will have watched the same 5 videos you did. The circle was cool because it was bizarre and vague, the alaskan setting was great, but i think everything else was just uninspired, the monster is your standard pied piper turned imp demon thingy and contextualizing the circles took away the fun of it. The author got too caught up in the prose and i dont blame them but please make something truly bizarre and puzzling, this doesnt leave me scratching my head itching for more quite like noc+10. I already know the demon massacred that whole town i dont have to wait for 8 months to find out why or how since we know everything we need to know. The circles was far too alien to be predictable but now that we know its some demonic sigil theres nothing else to say about it
Big fan of the channel and your narration is amongst the best. Tried for 30 mins but this one didn't grab me. Not confident the creator knew what all this was. But I admit I didn't stick around until the conclusion, so that might be unfair. I know you put a lot of work into your videos, so just wanted to give some feedback. Look forward to your next project.

This reminds me strongly of the missing Roanoke Colony, a real English settlement in which the whole town of over 100 settlers went missing in 1590 in North Carolina. The only clue left behind was the word "Croatoan" carved in a post, and "Cro" into a tree.
No complaints about it being an ARG, in fact I love covering the smaller unknown creators and helping them give a platform! However, I think the issue is that…the story just isn’t very interesting, unfortunately. It also gets very lost in its storytelling as it feels like it goes from one thing to the next without the first part having a connection or finishing. I do hope the creator continues and learns how to grow, and love the content as always!
This should be top comment, his Fear of the Deep is one of my favorite videos, he does cover a horror game but then dives into real stories which game me goosebumps. Pun intended.
Im still at the beginning but this is way too much a carbon copy of uzamaki. Nothing wrong with inspiration but this is beat for beat. And squelching sounds doesnt mean scary.
Meh. That's the textbook example of too much teasing and not enough payoff, and too many ideas that got everywhere but bring the plot nowhere. We start with a Lovecraftian entity that make people disappear, but turn them into circle but maybe not. Then a city disappearing because of a satyr demon thing. And finally we got a random murder mystery where a guy that got corrupted by said demon kill people with a gun or a pick axe, or drown them. There is clearly such a thing a too much mysteries, especially when they don't connect and don't lead anywhere.
Love your work and dedication to every video, the atmosphere is always comforting in a dark way. Having said that, some others have said about other Analogs-and I first stumbled into Local58 through your channel-that, Gemini and Walden Files got my attention, but then the Analog just becomes all samey for me (Mind you Petscop was different in that the whole video game created for a story thing, that was impressive).. Thats not to knock the people who create them, they are doing it out of passion and I get an appreciate that as a creative myself (not youtube stuff). Whatever you post I enjoy, though will say that the reality investigation stuff is more my leaning. But I also get it of trying to find something covered that hasn't been done on a number of other channels and something new is obviously tricky.
Sounds like a horrible place. Move anywhere else

This is happening in America. It takes place in Alaska specifically. So although the environment is closer to Russia, it's technically America
@@Marz-bar Thank you for clearing that up for me, it was the mixture of American and Russian names for people and places that threw me.
VHS Tales seems to be a collection of just small one off horror stories, while Oakburn Opus is the big multi part story that actually has continuity between the episodes.
so is this specific oakburn thingy real in Alaska? like based on real events?
I like the production put into these videos and usually watch them even if I'm not interested in the subject matter, but I must admit that I find analogue horror (and, indeed, most modern horror) to be rather dull and contrived. Frankly, I don't think this story is any different. Despite liking fiction, I almost always prefer non-fiction stories of this kind. If it's not believable, I immediately tune out of a story.
Oh thank god, i thought I might have to go a day without a new analog horror.
One of your best episodes and hands down one of the best source material you have worked with. What a beautifully haunting piece of media

Obviously no hate to the creator or to Nexpo, but hopefully someone gets what I mean by this kinda has me lost.
i’m 100% with you. I love nexpo but this video is beyond boring
Also: Why was it Alaska but with Russian/Czech names? Then random Greek mythology? It’s kinda all across the globe with no ties.

You're in luck, the SOS mystery is covered in his last video.
As much as I love watching RUclips essays dissecting popular analog horrors, I also love giving attention to web series that aren't lucky enough to receive any spotlight from the RUclips algorithm. It's something popular essayists are uniquely able to do.
HOLY SHIT PYTHOR SPITTING FACTS ‼️‼️‼️
No disrespect to the creator of oakburn opus nor Nexpo, if anything I want to encourage them to continue making stuff, But really? Was this series really worth a video?
I mean he might not have anything else he wants to do, he makes content he’s interested in
After watching the "The Starving Five"? 100%
gonna need pt 2 to be mind blowing, getting bored of the 'analogue' horror genre and this just feels like someone took a pile of AH series', picked an idea or two from each and smashed them together with no real thought to it
I love your content, but please, please, PLEASE stop with the long pauses in between dialogue. The content is scary, it can speak for itself. Trying to force scare factor onto it just makes it seem cheap.
nah the pauses need to atleast be 10 seconds longer
Good video quality as usual but honestly it's just so hard to get interested into these Analouge/ARG videos. I know there's only so many real life stories to cover but the real stories just feel so much more interesting.Doesn't help that this story isn't finished yet and was honestly not very interesting
Yeah i just could not get invested at all

unfortunately i agree however it’s the really long pauses that do it for me. i’ve been noticing over time the pauses get longer and longer😭. i thought i was jus bein a baby (maybe i am) but i even checked reddit about this and seems to be an on going thing about people disliking the ARG’s and the pauses.
ARGs are not cool anymore. they are lame and gay
Just too lame and unoriginal.
omggg was checking this channel earlier with that forlorn longing in my heart, now you're here!! 😌
7:51 ethan has adhd and he’s hyperfocused on a new hobby
Personally this one didn't do it for me, but I'm sure I'm in the minority. Just glad to have a Nexpo vid.
Same, dude
I'm not even 3 minutes into the video but I already love this. Your editing style is so unique and chilling.
i kept waiting for it to get going but it never did imo but ty for uploading
Yeah sorry this isn't really doing it for me.
19:49 December 21st is also the winter equinox and is considered a rather sacred day in many ancient pagan faiths, particularly as relates to mysticism and magic.
Plus it's also the longest night of the year! At least where it takes place which definitely has to have a huge meaning to it too
I can tell what wendigoon videos the author watched while making these.
The circles was far too alien to be predictable but now that we know its some demonic sigil theres nothing else to say about it
Happy New Year, Nexpo! I missed seeing your videos for a few months

Hell of a shiner on the left eye lol
@@MeLLo_14thinking the same thing lol
It's a birthmark he's always had it 😂
Get youtube vanced, skips sponsors, can skip to highlights, no adverts, play in background better options and settings than original youtuve
Nexpo should start his own Netflix-like streaming platform featuring Nexpo, Nick Crowley, Wendigoon, Blamitonjorge, etc.
Woooooo! Im all settled in for my Saturday and new nexpo droppped! This is perfect. Thank you so much man! Edit: highly recommend the Mckinney family home tapes, they are horrifying
I’m a recently new viewer (approx 3 months actually) since I saw your first video and I’ve binged most of what you’ve put out in the last 5-6 years. I got here right after the last video was uploaded and I’ve been itching since. Thank you for blessing my feed!
Yeah he's got alot of good videos to watch
and just when all hope was lost, the king returns.
been subscribed since 2017, man. i love how much your content and style has grown :) much love, happy new year 🤍🫡
We far from done😂😂watching at night, from kenya thank for giving me nightmares NEXPO 😁
Ah yes, American Uzumaki
This reminds me strongly of the missing Roanoke Colony, a real English settlement in which the whole town of over 100 settlers went missing in 1590 in North Carolina.
The only clue left behind was the word "Croatoan" carved in a post, and "Cro" into a tree.
No complaints about it being an ARG, in fact I love covering the smaller unknown creators and helping them give a platform!
However, I think the issue is that…the story just isn’t very interesting, unfortunately. It also gets very lost in its storytelling as it feels like it goes from one thing to the next without the first part having a connection or finishing.
I do hope the creator continues and learns how to grow, and love the content as always!
tbh ive clicked on this video several times but i fall asleep before the ad. i have no idea what this video is about
Wish you would cover real mysteries again
Yeah all this ARG shizz is lame
This should be top comment, his Fear of the Deep is one of my favorite videos, he does cover a horror game but then dives into real stories which game me goosebumps. Pun intended.
6 out of the last ten videos were real mysteries and he did two In a row before this. Who cares.
Im still at the beginning but this is way too much a carbon copy of uzamaki. Nothing wrong with inspiration but this is beat for beat. And squelching sounds doesnt mean scary.
Wow! What a beautiful made series. The visuals, the sound design, the editing, it's all so good! Thank you for turning us onto this one!
Whatever you create, thank you for the love of creating and sharing your stories with us :)
stop being nice and just say it: this sucks.
