hey ,if anyone else wants to uncover stop oil production on face try Canny Cleanser Chart (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my buddy got amazing results with it.
There are many components to how to reduce skin oil. One place I discovered which successfully combines these is the Canny cleanser chart (check it out on google) it's the most useful plan i've heard of. Check out the super information.

i know this was two years ago but skin type can change with climate. its really simple, if your skin is normal in the summer, its normal... in the summer. if its dry in winter, its dry... in the winter. your skin doesnt have to be normal, dry or oily all the time

Yes!!!! Dry skin and oily skin are acne prone because they are not evenly balanced. Normal skin rarely breaks out because it’s not too dry but not too oily. The key to clear skin to balancing out your skin.

My forehead is super dry unlike the rest of my face. But my face is dry. From time to time, my nose becomes oily. But most days, my skin is just dry. What does that mean?
In summer:
When I wake up my nose and under lip area looks oily (the other areas feel normal) but when I wash my face it become a lil dry but after some minutes it backs to normal i.e (neither too oily nor too dry)
In winter:
My skin becomes kinda dry

I have acne and very visible pores but when I wash my face it gets super dry and flaky and my whole nose is peeling off
I've always believed I have an oily t-zone as when I do my makeup my t-zone often looks really shiny so I almost only need to put powder there or at least more there than on the rest of my face. But when I touch my skin it feels pretty normal, it does tend to feel pretty dry if I don't moisturize though but it never flakes. I get pimples easily though so I guess I have sensitive skin.

Use homemade remedies if your mother will not let you go to a dermatologist and have a balanced diet with lots of antioxidant foods .
Just search on google you will get lots of homemade natural remedies.
it sounds like you possibly do have combination skin. pls don't hate your face, you just have to find the right skincare routine and eat the right foods :))
This may not help in your type of situation, but if you have persistent acne try to keep a food diary and see if there's and foods that correlate with flare ups. It sounds dumb but for me after a few months I found out that chocolate and sugar cause redness in my face and sometimes breakouts. I also found out that peanut butter (which I love 😭) was causing pimples that WOULD NOT go away. Like there was always a group of them in 2 spots. I stopped eating peanut butter and it cleared up. So it's worth a try if you think it can help
@Allie Cat ..from what I know for dry skin there are some people will get actually really dry face and some will really get oily...for the oily because of your face so dry and you used the skincare for oily skin that actually make it worse because oily skincare actually remove the oil in the face and it really not good for the dry skin because dry skin need to moisturise(?) their face..so when the oil dissappear from your face it make the skin to produce more oil than before because you remove all the oil...and all of that made your face so oily and that made you think that you have oily skin even though it opposite of it actually...hope you understand😂

vry glad to be the happyskin type. When i wake up my t zone gets oily but c zone is absolutely dry. Throughout my teen days i hav not faced a single acne or pimple not even blackheads or whiteheads. I dnt hav dry, flaky or red skin. The apples of my cheeks, tip of my nose n the starting of my eyebrows appears a bit pinkish.But in my teen days sometimes tiny bumps appeared on my nose or rarely on my cheeks...most of the times on the tip of my nose tiny bumps appeared during summer which vanished within 7-8 days at the max. LIKE IF U RELATE TO ME

Before I was having acne on my skin mostly in forehand and on c-zone area and I could live without applying any moisturizer whole day, no irritation no dryness
But when I started applying salicylic acid fashwash and avoided eating fast food my acne got completely removed. But after applying that fashwash I feel like my skin become dry till half an hour and after that I feel like normal but if I go to outside it seems oil on my forehead,chick ,chin and lill bit on c-zone area .

My t-zone, chin and forehead is always oily, but sometimes when i feel my skin is flaky and dry while it is still oily on those three parts. And i have acne everywhere. You see I wash my face once a day and that’s in the shower MK so- after I’m done my face feels a bit dry and more fresh I fix that dryness with moisturizer and then after my night routine I wake up and my face feels discus-tingly oily so then what I do is use sea breeze which help take out a lot of oils then I use moisturizer- but then after time went by I started to pick up a habit of picking my zits and touching my face and stopped caring for my face in the morning and only night- the old skin care routers helped but I still had acne on my for head smh
So now my face has acne oh my head and chin and so much black heads on my nose and around it!

My skin little oily on my T-zone and the others feel okay. But whenever I use Garnier (and a few other brands) brand facial cleanser, my skin feels tight.

That could mean because that product doesn’t work for your skin type. I have combination skin and I used to use micellar water from the same brand to remove my make up at the end of the day and it would mattify my oily areas but feels stripping and dry at the areas where I’m not oily and I had to find another product that does not do that for my skin type. Try searching up some ingredients that work for your skin type and find any cleansers toners moisturizer serum‘s etc. that work for your skin type and includes those ingredients it doesn’t have to include those ingredients but just at least if it has good ingredients that work for your skin type. I’m nowhere near like skincare by hyram or James welsh i’m more of a make up artist but that’s all I could illustrate for you

I'm not able to know my skin type. I get 1-2 breakouts every month often almost everywhere on my face. Even I have small rashes kind of patches on my forehead, Cheeks. These rashes grow in size but do not convert into pimple. After I use a face pack or face wash my skin feels too dry. What is my skin type?
Combo, and you may have eszema, Ik bc I have eszema and I have similar symptoms. It's mostly gone now but aquaphor should help a lot

+Jaya Shukla you may not be getting enough sleep or are eating to much sugar or salt. Drinking lots of water should help and using lemon scrubs should lighten the scars. As the sun sensitivity, just try a facial moisturizer with SPF and use it before leaving you house.

Sajido Foladi Wow, exact problem. Even the right eye part. 😂 my face sometimes has dry areas making foundation streaky. Then 2-3 hrs later, my foundation melts away in oiliness on the cheeks even in an A/C room.

How to know combinations skin? In summer your skin get oily and in winter skin get dry. So for combination skin type use oil or cream based face wash and moisturizer in Winter. And use water (aqua) based face wash or gel face wash and moisutizer which contains neem, aloe vera, glycerin and benzyl paraoxide in Summer.

Then I would say as by the name of combination, It is the combination of all skin type which are normal, dry, oily or sensitive type. Along a day in summer or winter you feel somewhat dry or oily. I'm so confuse because I thought that I've got an oily skin. Pimples would just literally pop out of my face every time. But when I had white patches on my face, I tried to see a doctor and she told me that it's because I have a dry skin. She recommended a soap and apparently it works. The white patches are gone and after a few months, I'm back to having small pimples and oily look. Now I'm not really sure of my skin type. I'm having a hard time on choosing skin care products that would fit me, helps me have a healthier skin and of course, get rid of pimples.
