The number of hidden areas and items in this game is completely wild.
Seriously! I'm on playthrough number 2, and just found Booal. Tucked away below a partially obscured rock wall you can climb down. Also, harpies and shadow druids. Those areas are NOT obvious, at all. Those harpies must have eaten well in my first playthrough. Poor kid...
@@zacharyberridge7239 I knew about the harpies but didn’t want to tackle them at level 3 on my honor mode run so I left them alone. Remembered them right when i got back from clearing the goblin camp 🤦🏻♂️.
@@alexw4482 idk the ring Mol gives for the stolen idol is too powerful to miss it just like that. You don't even have to kill goblins for that, you need to only save Arabella and Mirkon, then you are allowed to take the quest. Then you simply reveal Kaga's plan, make her take your side against the shadow druids, then easily kill them. After that you cast darkness on the idol/use arrow of darkness on it, then take it and tp away or use invisibility. Druids won't try to kill tieflings, they'll only turn hostile on you if they notice you steal the idol.
@zacharyberridge7239 yeah I got pushed into the pit with the broodmother and found the fucking underdark
I have over 1000 hours in this game and every time i play I find something new, it's insane
this game has infinite content lmfao
pretty much, and imagine years from now the amount we'll still be discovering, kinda like rdr2
I wouldn't say infinite. It just seems that way because depending on your choices through dialogue or actions, it locks off certain content.
It’s crazy that there’s still some cut and unfinished content in the game, we have so much right now but we could’ve had even more

Disagree, 80 hours in and I'm like ten hours away from beating the game.
Kinda wish it was longer, it's actually shorter than Skyrim lol
Real Chads will clear the sewers and then use the courtyard anyways lol
Just to experience the encounter! Let's Go!
this is the way
I would normally agree. Like for example going through the entire githyanki crèche just to use the underdark anyways as your means of reaching act 2. But at this point in the game there’s no RP to be had until you’re done with all the fighting, and it’s literally impossible to not reach level 12 before this point in the game that I don’t see the point of continuing to be an absolute chad like this.
Courtyard fight is my least favorite fight in act 3, so this could be a welcome alternative.
@divinefox4306 ya it takes a lot of time to finish this fight. What I do is split the group, take an invisibility potion and skip right to the last fight.
A hidden interaction I noticed yesterday, if you are the Dark Urge and you go to fight Orin wearing your servants hat that you get from the Devils Fee Merchant, he'll comment on it saying thank you for wearing it but its only proper you remove this lowly servants hat before entering to see your father.
He's so cute 😢
Argh what, i switched the hat for a better option right before i went to duel orin 😭
There is another way to access this part: if you go around the left side from the front door before the courtyards, youll encounter 2 devils, you can fly down 2 levels and there is a chest and a door leading to the sewers
dude, that shot of your drow using speak with dead goes HARD
You now have 69 likes, let’s see how long t takes someone to spoil it
I completely missed this
4 playthroughs in and this is the first time I’ve heard of this 😂
HOLY CRAP WHAT?!?!?! I KNEW there was something in that little cul-de-sack!! Well, I guess I'll be testing if the death knight is more fatal than running that gauntlet for my HM finale this weekend! 🤣🤣
This is one of those games that secrets will be found in for years i think
This was the way I went, so I never fought in the courtyard at all. I was surprised that it wasn't more common knowledge that this was there, since it wasn't hidden that much and a guy told you about it.
They keep adding stuff. We keep finding stuff. It’s a gamers paradise.
Larian studios deserves all the praises of the world.
This seems so much easier than fighting in the courtyard. The courtyard fight isn’t even hard there’s just SO MANY PEOPLE in it that it legitimately took me a good like 45 minutes on my first playthrough because it’s just so slow and you can only kill so many enemies at once.
courtyard isnt even hard?im destroyed by mind flayers + the big eye and my party is usually dead, despite killing 15 small mobs
@@markedone150 i think i got pretty lucky to be completely honest, i had a lot of insane damage rolls for the first time I played that fight and that made it much easier. I’ve since done the entire fight again on a second playthrough and it was harder for sure but not by too much since I had the strategy down. I also just had a good party for that first fight in particular.
I went in with myself as a max level paladin, Laezel max level fighter, Gale max level wizard, and Astarion 8 levels in bard 4 in rogue and Orpheus as a mind flayer. I pretty much just used myself and Laezel as the front line alongside the NPC’s we recruited to our cause just outside the gate. Then kept Astarion right next to Gale, Gale was doing a majority of the killing by just slinging AOE spells like a mad man. Orpheus got some good damage in as well being the only mind flayer in the party and having a ton of movement I was able to use him for both protection of my front line and defense for Gale. Astarion was great for glyph of warding, dissonant whispers, and bardic inspiration that kept people alive or severely increased outgoing damage. Sticking to that plan and just forcing the enemies to walk into Gales range of spells made the whole entire fight very easy. Time consuming for sure, but easy nonetheless.
Beat the game several times and didn't know about this. Absolutely wild.
Was too hyped for that epic last fight I've completly ignored corpses to speak to.
I love when games let you in little passageways! I see so many inaccessible areas in games that I deeply wish I could go into, it’s so refreshing when it’s actually an entrance and not just setdressing!
I knocked out minthra my first good play through because I thought that’s how you get her as a companion. I took all her amor in act 1 and left her naked. I finally get to the end of the game after about 127 hours (my first play through) AND GEUSS WHO COMES TO FIGHT ME NAKED BAHAH BUT. She also had an exclamation mark above her head as if I could have spoke to her. Sadly I didn’t get to see what she had to say but still super wild and unexpected.
_Wakes up naked._
"This is my life now."
No you can’t just say “I thought I get her as a companion by KO’ing her” with 0 context
Stalker Svigny is a banger name.
I actually skipped the courtyard fight by casting sanctuary on a wind elemental and had it lead the enemies away from the front door to the castle then snuck my party right in lol
I just invis'd my way through.
The fight up top is too unique for me to skip. I caaaant.
Me and my gf got here at lv 10 and got our asses kicked by the death knights, luckily I’m running a paladin with an ac of 24 so I was able to keep healing everyone lol
You guys have missed a lot of stuff but at least your having fun.
1200+ hours into this game and there is STILL new stuff every time! I love this game so much
I just keep learning new things about this game lol
You can also just use potions of invisibility and fly(speed helps too) and just walk through the courtyard. Fly up to the stem and begin the final fight
After I cleaned up the map, I reloaded and did exactly that just to see Gale's special explody ending.
i can imagine it could possibly be as annoying as the courtyard brawl! the sheer numbers make it take forever & so many that can give stun or paralyzed conditions
The fight is easier on the basis of action economy alone. If you can get the Death Knight to drop its weapon (disarming strike and command), it will get one pommel strike smite and then you can take it down just by having a character disarm it every turn
And here i am beat the game 4 times including honor mode thinking i saw everything.
Fighting Signee with a death knight build would have the be one of the coolest things I've done in this game
Bruh... I just turned Astarion invisible and when he interacted with the tube the whole part appeared for the fight
Gonna do this on my death knight build to assert dominance
I just fly through the court fight anyway lol
Bruhhhhh we have the same character design even armor and class🤣🤣🤣
Saving this little tidbit of information for if I ever get that far on my Honor Mode run
I used that passage in my honor mode playthrough. It's a very good option.
Speak With Dead is seriously one of the best spells. I took ritual caster feat just so I could cast it multiple times without wasting spell slots
You can recast it without using a spell slot. Ritual caster is redundant for speak with dead.
It persists until long rest. Right to the left of the "end turn" button after you've cast it once, it'll say, "recast speak rush dead". That coupled with the amulet of lost voices = never needing a spell slot for it all game 😉. Just an FYI
Another reason why this is one of the best games in the last 10 years. Lots of people try to tell me. Oh no, it’s not the Witcher three is better. The Witcher three is great, but it’s not in the same league as this game.
The courtyard is easy just use 8 actions to call all your reinforcements and run through the fight, the enemies die as soon as the absolute cutscene begins so your allies are only there for maybe 4-5 turns before you call them up top
But the courtyard is so fun because you can just summon all of your allies right off the bat and destroy everyone
Yea never going through that courtyard fight again jeeeezus it takes forever
lmao i just invis my whole party and walk through the whole place like its nothing, just stick to the top right section and theres no one with see invis around
Damn, and here I was stocking up on inviability scrolls and potions to just walk past all of that
I kinda just stealth my way to the Nautiloid scene. I run alot of mobility
Would be nice if you actually showed where the entrance was
i like the final court yard battle but this is good
The countless ppl who think because they're spending 150 hours in act 1 and are systematically trying to explore everything, they're going to see everything in one playthrough, lol. That's not even yo mention the forking plot points that lock you out of a ton of things making that literally impossible in one playthrough.
Death knights, hags, mummy lords, undead dragons, cultists, Zhentarim ...
Is there any place in the Sword Coast more or less safe to live?
I’ve done 3 playthroughs and haven’t even sniffed this. What.
It explaines the one room I could not enter, must be the exit
No need to enter this way theres a door and just lockpick yourself in ?!? How did you even find the metal bars 😮 wow this looks so much more trouble than just walk in door
my abj wiz solo cleared court fight with only magic missile haha. other professions are useless
There’s always MORE to this game. I’m 30 playthroughs in and still didn’t know about this
You can also just cast Invisibility spell to skip to the elder Brain
In my play through Minthara was there but there was no cutscene or dialogue.
did not know this! how many things have we missed?
I DID speak with there dead. I did not know this was here. They said something about coming from the mountains and there being a lot of dudes in the courtyard. Nothing about the sewers I remember
Brother it has been almost 400 hours and I have never discovered this wtf
But can I do both!? Cause I’m a sucker for combat and loot.
yeah you can do both but sadly there is no unique loot in high hall
The Courtyard is the most annoying fight in the game
interesting, does that Death Knight drop any good gear/loot?
When do you get to the upper city?
When I fought the brain I took the underground path which I found during my fight against bhaal. And since E warned me not to go too far because of the brain, I thought this was the official path 😱
You’re in upper city when you fight all of the monsters spectators and goblins
Why showing this if you didn't show the location ?
What happens if you are Daddys choosing do the deaths knights attack?
Mass amounts of invis potions lol
The fact that people still find secrets like this in the game is nuts
How did you get the emperor on your team
What does the DK drop?! X.x not that it matters really.
I just steathed yhrough the whole thing
What are the X and Y ?
Courtyard fight? What fight towards the end of the game?
Yes, it's part of the finale. It's a bit of a marathon fight that can drain your resources before the final fight with no opportunity to rest after.
Can you do both?
You can WHAT
What courtyard?
I think it is the one after you give your speech
The one before you fight the brain
@@thatoneguy9816Oh! I was confused about what fight
Wait is there an upper city?
WHAT
It's because they cut all this content for launch. Hence the cramped and buggy act 3
That smells like an assumption, rather than real knowledge.
If we could find someone who downloaded the game near launch and hasn't updated it since, then we could know.
I have 1000+ hours with like 7 playthroughs. I disnt see this. Leave my fkn life alone stupid game
Hungover
