I recently saw the vid you made telling how to fan the cards. You explained very clearly and your demonstration makes it look so easy. Maybe I'm clumsier than most, but it was quite frustrating with each attempt. But after the 100th try or so it started working out. It felt like I was doing the exact same thing as the first try, but the spread was smoother and easier. I couldn't begin to explain except to say that the cards must have been learning faster than I was. Anyone experiencing frustration...just keep doing the same thing over and over. Those cards will figure it out eventually. Thank you Jason for all the work you're doing!
@CrplCon. Just my thinking! I can connect to you 100 p/c. One additional thought from my experience: the fans will work out remarkably better if you are using a new deck after the ,say, 20th attempt.
@@kisike01 Lol you should see them now! They're more like tissue than cards. They make new cards feel amazingly responsive. I'll keep that 20th attempt suggestion in mind, thanks!.
@@StacemanFPVI used to say I could never do magic tricks because I'm clumsy and awkward. But I started practicing a few. It probably takes me longer to get them down than it takes other people but I started getting them down. I still stumble with the cards sometimes even with the trick that I know. In fact, just today I was showing the trick where you have them hold the deck and you have five cards including their card and the card appears in the deck they're holding. That took me lots and lots of practice. And most of the time I don't stumble on the trick. But today I accidentally fumbled with the card when I was slipping it into the deck. Anyway, my point is that you can do it if you really want to put in the effort to practice. Even if your clumsier or more awkward than other people like I am.
I have to say man I saw a street magic video of yours and thought it was very entertaining and have watched about 50 of your videos now lol You make people's day bro I remember seeing this kind of performance when I was younger The world is better with you in it man Thanks for all the content - subscribed
Really enjoyed this card trick and the tutorial explanation was very well presented. I always struggle with the "pinky break" because I have small hands but I just plough on regardless and use my ring finger. If I start practising this trick now, I'll have it nailed by the end of the year. 🤣Thanks Jason. 👍♠♥♦♣
I can usually figure out where the trick is going and follow along with some of the controls (not that I can do any of them myself), but you suckered me and got an audible “son of a b…” when you spread the deck for the reveal. Love your work!
I just subscribed and liked. I wish I had RUclips videos like this when I was a kid. I loved magic tricks and you are one of my favorites to watch on RUclips. Keep up the good work.
Jason it’s always a pleasure to watch you .i hope one day you make a dvd with your card tricks it would be a great buy . Just love your card tricks with your tutorials
Love it. While I might not follow/use this as is, there are a lot of great elements that I can use in other tricks (That card control for example was great). Loving the more advanced stuff, keep it coming.
I really love this effect! Great channel and a great teacher🎉. This reminds me if another gem on your channel with the two jokers and that Ace of spades- using Marlo's retention vanish/change. Both great!!!!!!!!
Ok, I was hoping for an easy trick, when you said only two steps needed. But the ace control step got me, I mean, you've lost me there 😂 No chance I'll ever learn that 😅
Just spent a bit of time practicing this and it didn’t take long at all to feel pretty good about it. Thanks for teaching such a great trick I love the Ace sequence, it feels great once you get it.
I love your content brother. You make everything flawless. Your breakdowns are super easy to understand also. Keep up the banging great work. Much love from Pennsylvania
Great trick dude, thank you for a more advanced trick! I try to practice at least once a day and i always find myself on your channel learning awesome stuff!

I CANT EVEN "WIND" THE DECK UP... COOL TRICK THO... tx for the info but .... im a lifelong guitar player... 40+ yrs experience... sitting down with someone who knows almost nothing about guitar it becomes painfully apparent that things i think are "simple" and can be done by a beginner are actually novice to intermediate skill level things... so him showing how "easy" the trick is is really him saying how easy it is for HIM.... dude your a master... and i wasnt even joking about the winding the deck up.... its not just "the trick" its the PERFORMANCE.... but thanx anyways....
It's the ace of spades, the ace of spades - the only card I need, you know it's gonna be: the ace of spades! Sorry - just couldn't hold it back. Awesome card trick!
This more complex stuff is great! This will be a killer trick for me, and I need this vid to get 5000 likes man! Just one question,What are the chances your trick gets foiled by them selecting an ace?
Man!, this is the *_second_* time that you smash the screen on my phone... 😐 Next time I'll send you the bill for the new one! 😄😉 Jokes aside, what an excellent lite trick 🙂👍

@@GonzaloZelinka9 But you won't know it's an ace until you've gone through looking for the aces and seen the top card. To be completely safe, you could claim that you're going to ask the deck which four cards will help you find their card, look through the deck like you're waiting for the answer, and then when you see the top card, declare that the deck wants you to use the four aces (or kings if the top card is an ace). Just a thought.
I'd say, just do the trick as usual with a random card instead of the chosen card. Then at the end if the trick, instead of saying "the face up card is the ace, so that must mean that your card was the face down card" say "the face up card is the ace, wait, that's not how that trick is supposed to work, the ace is supposed to be there... unless, by any chance, is your card actually that ace?"

Their card only goes under with the first ace and it does not come to the top. The second time it is another ace that goes under. Practice it and you will see. You can practice with the chosen card upside down so you understand where it is at and how to not reveal it when handling the two aces at the end.

Hilarious! On my very first attempt, an Ace was picked!
I don't even have that much interest in learning the tricks, I just like hanging out with Jason
What if his choice was an ace?
You’ll only realize it when you search for the aces and discover that the last card is an ace...
5 am lads and got a good night with Jason Maher teaching magic 🗣🗣🗣❗️❗️❗️⁉️⁉️⁉️
Knowing my luck they'd pick an ace as their card!

Thnx jason for all these tricks u show us i will try them on my family and some of my frnds 😀
So impressive and so easy to learn. You are damn good man!
But what if the card that they chose at the beginning is an ace?
that's what I had happen to me the first time I did the trick
I would love to see you do a magic trick with magic the gathering cards.
i also would like you to do some card shuffels with those cards to.

What happens if their picked card is an Ace?
i was just about to ask exactly that.. well, then we have to learn another trick i guess.. ^^ or, you use the Kings to "tell you which is your card"
Use Kings or Queens replacing the aces and that's all

Just tell them not to pick the Aces cuz you need to use them later
Look the lycon chair guy
My problem is that I can't feel or grip de cards as I suffer from Polyneuropathy as as result from chemotherapy 😔
It's close enough to being self working.
What if one of the aces is picked by spectator as their card? Switch to kings and make up excuse of king/other type is stronger? Lol
thanks, but we can't do it

With the aces when you put there card at the bottom how does it keep getting to the top so you can put it at the bottom again
Their card only goes under with the first ace and it does not come to the top. The second time it is another ace that goes under. Practice it and you will see. You can practice with the chosen card upside down so you understand where it is at and how to not reveal it when handling the two aces at the end.
I wonder though, how do you salvage the trick if they end up picking an ace?
I love you!!
Nice
What do you do if the card they free picked was one of the aces?
I can’t do the riffle shuffle part no matter how much I try I can’t seem to get it
what do I do if they pick an ace? It's a pretty low chance but they can still pick it.
