Catherine Howard has got to be my all time favorite song, and I really like this arrangement. Nobody alive today has so much musical talent.

    Rick,
I've patterned so much of my life around Rick's music. The sense of spirituality and grace that come not just from the music, but from the man. God bless you Rick.

I have to look away from the brilliance. It's too bright for my eyes. Note the other musicians in the orchestra...they look to be so happy and blessed to be playing this masterpiece.

So beautifully British. My oldest brother brought this album home when I was 12. I listened to it non-stop God knows how many times. I remember my first trip to England. Driving through the English countryside all I could think was "This is exactly like Wakeman's music!"

My favorite of the wives. Was fortunate enough to see and hear his Grand Piano Tour, and he signed my very old and worn Six Wives Album. A true gentleman.

I saw Rick Wakeman play at MSG not long after this came out. The ushers(they were all old guys) were dancing in the aisles (he played some Dixieland-Wrag Time stuff) they were saying it was the best music and show they had ever seen there, thought that was really cool!

I so wanted to hear those drums come in, but got horns instead, bummer for me, because of the great memories of have of this song. In '73, the drum sound of this song was the straw the broke the camels back and forced me to spend all of my saved money for my very first Hi-Fi stereo system. Over 1,450. bucks working part time at 1.60 an hour. That got me a receiver, 2 speakers and a turntable, that was a ton of money for a teenager to spend and I never regretted it for one second, best money I ever spent and I came home with this album to play on my new stereo, that I heard at the store, what memories. Rick is just fantastic and I only learned from RUclips what a funny great guy he is. Pure genius. Thank you Rick for everything.

Back in the '70s electronic music should sound electronic, with a lot of beeps, chirps, quacks and farts. It's good to hear this version that does more justice to the quality of the composition.

That ROCKER is every bit as right at home in the classical forum...beautiful. A fair amount of the rockers left a bit to be desired as far as capability...not so Rick, and Elton, and a few others (Steely Dan and Queen come to mind). Several top level bands sounded lifeless and unexciting when they weren't backed by the "session guys". Steely Dan WAS the session guys...from all over.
