i know how to program, but i haven't noticed anyone talk anything so wrong about spaghetti code they are straight forward, riot makes characters with recycled code, change the original character and fuck the second one they do talk shit about development, like mixing coding with designing skins i mean, i was impressed when they revealed how they made Aurelion and Kayn, but at the same time it scared me to think how many times they also reused code, it is no surprise the game brakes constantly

If it was about a subject that he cared enough for to talk about it for hours on end, absolutely. That's what first made me choose to watch The Brick when I could've been watching other gaming channels: he isn't just hype and stupid jokes. I mean he has those things AS WELL, but he also says plenty of things that show that, behind that MASSIVE forehead of his, there is a brain to match. A nice mix of fun and insight without either one being overbearing. He's also just... very wholesome. No shade if you like watching YTubers who're big into rage or self-deprecation, but that REALLY isn't my thing. He is indeed every bit as stable and reliable as a house made of Brickies ought to be. I'm sure if he were to do a TED Talk or something similar it would be informative, entertaining AND gently uplifting.
If we are talking about the small games they did then it is like the 8th. Even if we talk about just big ones it is either the 3rd (the card game being second) or 4th if we count team fight tactics as its own game.

I mean it was based on lol but like tft they used lore based on a skin. Plus they made a new map for it and the rules for winning were different then in regular lol.

4th game. And we know about the Ruined King Game with setting in Bilgewater and Shadow isles and the platformer with Ekko playing in Piltover/Zhaun. Plus the fighting game and the game with Blitzcrank, Ezreal and Lux which looks like an action-adventure "clear the field of all monsters to advance". At least from what i can tell from the anniversary.

What are people gonna say next? Minecraft is dead? Nah... man. Once they drop the Nether Update hundreds of thousands of people are gonna get back into it to mine cobblestone and build dirt houses. The "Here you go have fun" strat only works if the game's quality can speak for itself. Don't talk, let the game do the talking. And good games tend to stay around, people talk about it. Some quit after playing it excessively, but new players join to check it out.
I know this video was posted over a month ago, but another marketing strategy they've employed is making Spotify playlists for each individual character to give players a feel of what they might listen to or a glimpse into their backstory and each definitely has their own unique feel (Brimstone's playlist sounds exactly what I imagine someone who toured in Afghanistan would listen to). Music is an excellent way to draw people in and get a feel for characters and they've done it well!
Being a concept artist myself I value that you go into detail regarding the whole art production pipeline! You dont see this very often on your regular Games-RUclipsr. Thx ^^

I like how Valorant's art style incorporates a lot of geomertic shapes and sharp edges. It makes is stands out from both the "cartoony" games and "realistic" games, because in most games nowadays everything is smooth and rounded.
How the heck is Bricky not bigger than he is? This is a huge statement that impacted the gaming community on a MAJOR scale. This video has been tackled with awesome efficiency and controversy, along with Brickys lovable personality and charisma this video is top notch. Keep up the good work dude!
In my opinion the reason why people didnt like valorant was because they prob never sat down and tried to understand how the game works. (unless you are a CSGO player) Ive played a couple of games with friends and ask why they miss their shots while moving. In most shooters moving around while shooting makes u more dangerous. In valorant its a shoot off, if you stand still, be the first to shoot, control recoil, crosshair placement, all that. Theres more depth in the shooting than just run and gun which gets better the more you play. The only thing I disagree with Valorant is just map design and....... odins and operators.................. The game is great but its def not finish. Lots of features are missing like replay and balancing of agents. I love valorant and it isnt a bad game at all. Not my most fav but def a great game to introduce me into a game with competition.

Completely agree with the Diversity point. Diversity should be used to give freshness. Valorant has good Diversity because all the characters are from all over the place, they have different personalities and voice lines based on where they're from and it makes each character feel unique and interesting

I've just realised that because of those new cinematics I've started playing Legends of Runeterra and it's the first card game I've ever played literally and it's so much fucking fun.
Took me a little less than a week to get a drop, took a friend about 2 weeks, took like 4 or 5 of my other friends about 3 hrs... One of my friends literally today said, "Should I get Valorant?" and set up his accs and started watching streams and about 2hrs later he said to me, "Hey I got a key." Like...wow, lol.

Most of the League community understands that Riot has brilliance when marketing something, their creativity is not really their Highlight but its mostly how they introduce someone or something and they always will nail that down perfectly.
So as a brazilian I can assure u that valorant isn't a portuguese word, it isn't in our dictionary and no one say it, the closest one really is valorar but this mean assign value (but it's a really formal word and was unknown for me untill now, so we just use valorizar instead), and the word for value is valor actually. I feel the biggest thing about diversity done bad vs good is if the diverse characters are actually characters, A lot of times we can end up with something like your Gibraltar parody where the character only exists as a token to scream "IM GAY" "IM NON BINARY" "IM BLACK" which sucks really bad. Diversity done right is when the characters don't feel like they were just tossed in there to meet some artificial quota, they are actual characters, actual people who are also be gay,trans, from different country's and cultures all around the world, its not their focus but its still part of them. Seeing actual diverse characters done right in games and media in general is really nice and I think some people don't really realise just how much it can mean to some people to see characters like them that are not just ridiculous caricature. Awesome video btw

It takes advantage of the whole "heist" theme with the fonts of the menu Ui being like letters from magazines taped on paper, PAPER RIPPING EFFECTS FOR TRANSITIONS, sharp angular red, black and white shapes.
Look me in the eye and tell me that after P5 got released, games didn't step up their graphic design. Cause holy hell do I notice how dynamic a lot of UI looks now adays.

It may not be as big as Valorant (even though Valorant is in closed beta and LoR released just a few days ago, which is kinda sad) but that means that it's very likely that Twitch will also exclusively host the keys for Riots fighting game and and dungeon crawler (?) game which is pretty nice for them, I must say
I've just realised that because of those new cinematics I've started playing Legends of Runeterra and it's the first card game I've ever played literally and it's so much fucking fun.

Took me a little less than a week to get a drop, took a friend about 2 weeks, took like 4 or 5 of my other friends about 3 hrs...
One of my friends literally today said, "Should I get Valorant?" and set up his accs and started watching streams and about 2hrs later he said to me, "Hey I got a key." Like...wow, lol.

So as a brazilian I can assure u that valorant isn't a portuguese word, it isn't in our dictionary and no one say it, the closest one really is valorar but this mean assign value (but it's a really formal word and was unknown for me untill now, so we just use valorizar instead), and the word for value is valor actually. Great video

I feel the biggest thing about diversity done bad vs good is if the diverse characters are actually characters, A lot of times we can end up with something like your Gibraltar parody where the character only exists as a token to scream "IM GAY" "IM NON BINARY" "IM BLACK" which sucks really bad. Diversity done right is when the characters don't feel like they were just tossed in there to meet some artificial quota, they are actual characters, actual people who are also be gay,trans, from different country's and cultures all around the world, its not their focus but its still part of them. Seeing actual diverse characters done right in games and media in general is really nice and I think some people don't really realise just how much it can mean to some people to see characters like them that are not just ridiculous caricature.
