Mods for Left 4 Dead are great. Nothing like a raptor fighting off a swarm of zombies with Homer's chainsaw, then hearing the Old Spice whistle-jingle a second before Terry Crews ploughs through shouting "POWERRR!"
Mods are like, half the reason I keep playing this game. I have a mod which turns the Tank in a jacked Mickey Mouse, who throws stacks of money instead of slabs of cement. It’s an oddly accurate representation of what real-world Disney does to people. A hulking behemoth which stops at nothing to achieve its goals.
My mom loves this game. She is 65 and loves to play multiplayer. On her birthday this year, we brought up two TVs and two 360's and played 4 player. It is a lot of fun, even if I suck at it.
I remember playing OG L4D in high school, New Years Eve with the boys. One friend was ignoring texts from his annoying girlfriend, one drank like half a 12pk of Mountain Dew and was seeing into the Matrix, and another was on my PC trying to play WoW and L4D at the same time. It’s crazy how carefree life used to be.
"One friend was ignoring texts from his annoying girlfriend." If she is the annoying girlfriend he is the terrible boyfriend what if she was in danger?
“This guy took a chrome shotgun instead of a silenced smg, I’m gonna call him a slur in chat.” This my friend, is wrong. Chrome is best gun in the game

Thank you for bringing light to my favourite childhood game. I adore this game with all my heart. 12 year old me would sit down playing xbox 360 with a kinect microphone (yeah, THOSE days) and just grind left 4 dead 2 for hours. First game I experienced online gameplay with and it was like magic. All these other people from around the world are playing this same game with me?! It was the best. So, SO many hours spent on Versus with friends or achievement hunting on Expert. Seeing the community update come to L4D2 and seeing the no. of players skyrocket just brings me with joy. This video was so well put together. Captured everything I love about the game and taught me a bit too :) Didn't know about the game director. I knew bits and pieces but didn't know it tailored witch/tank/horde/item spawns depending on your progress. The more you know :) From the bottom of my heart man. Thank you.

EASILY one of the greatest games of all time. Me and my buddies started making videos on L4D and it's been nothing short of hilarious. Glad to see larger creators showing love to such an incredible game :)
I've been playing Left 4 Dead 2 a lot these past several months but I usually just avoid versus mode and stick to running campaigns on expert/realism, or playing custom campaigns I glossed over in the past. I guess what reeled me in was playing the Back 4 Blood Alpha and not really enjoying it as much as I do l4d2. I used to play the game here and there, but I've stuck to it lately just because I discovered a custom server I like frequenting, alongside a lot of other people who play pretty much every day during their free-time. It's just nice to play a co-op game with replayability, released right before the era of hyper-monitization in the multiplayer games industry.
You should really do be having more subs and views for this, this video is underrated, because you really nailed all of the great things about the game and you're very critical about it. What I love most here are the sound design including the music placement, THE INCREDIBLE LEVEL DESIGN. I have never gotten lost in this game. The last and probably most important is zombie animations. The way they run, behave and DIE have been so well crafted, so much work has been put into that and it shows. They have mocapped hundreds of animations and programmed them in such a way that a zombie death is just a random ragdoll. It's actually incredible. Anyone that isn't impressed by it should just watch a back 4 blood and Left 4 Dead comparison it's night and day. Crazy well made game and to me that's what Valve are known for. I've been playing Left 4 Dead ever since it came out, I was maybe 7 or so. My brother introduced me to it through his XBox 360 and I'm still playing it now at 20 on my own pc. Now i just fill my games with mods and play campaigns with randoms😊
Gnome chompski is the sole reason a L4D community still lives
The no going back fence can be jumped from the other side if you go at it from an angle apparently.
We have a friend who lives to disturb the witch and throw the gas and light it up on us... and even with that, the game's still fun af
5:27 14yrs later I wouldn't have guessed that I'd be watching a l4d video at work and seeing this bit of exactly where I work at 😭😭
Wait Bricky, how did you even know that there is R34 for the Spitter?...
You, tell me where, what is the sauce?
If it exist there's a porn of it.
Why are your ads actually entertaining, usually I skip by ads by man, these are good
sadly i dont have anybody left in my friends list who plays L4D2 but damn i love this game, and yah i hate you for playing the hunter sound so often

Rip to the people who got this video spoiled for them by the script writing stream
I can attest, I played this game with my best friends, and my cousin… ALL THE TIME.
Best memories, always had a good laugh, this game shaped my childhood. Good times!
Same lol I used to play L4D on Xbox 360
I think this is where Dead by Daylight got it's inspiration from.
That distinct "get ready to be ridden"-sound Jockeys make stille freak me out to this day!
I feel like I'm not cultured enough after seeing those zoom ins of Zoey, time for some research~
Bricky, giving a placement for us to see when the ad ends, thank you, you're amazing.
.....there's Spitter r34?
So Used to not be afraid of hunters ,because I used to be able to mid air shove one consistantly,I fear them again
Hey Bricky can you do a video about Dying Light/Dying Light 2?
Hey Brick! Been watching your vids for a long time now and I'm happy to say that the content you've been putting out has been by far my favorite! Love your style and how much you really put in. Keep up the amazing work you talented bastard!
Funny how this video was made a day after my friends convince me to buy it, and I’ve only played once but enjoyed the hell out of it, can’t wait to play more. Ps we need a resurgence of this game
Ok but even without sponsor this glasses really look so cool on you!
