Me and my brother looved playing it on the computer. All the old ones, and see who would complete the most lvls. I play a lot of the Monkey city now days.
My first Bloons game was Bloons TD Battles, where me and my friends would play 1 match against each other through multiple periods at school, trying to stack up the most amount of currency with the banana factories and then see who'd get the super monkey first and obliterate the other with like 30 consecutive green MOABs... It got to the point where my phone was destroyed and I had no phone to play it on, so I installed an android simulator on my PC just so I could play Bloons TD Battles... A few years later a different friend gifted me Bloons TD 6 and I didn't like it at all, it's like a far cry from what Battles was to me, I tried playing it for a while, even co-op, but it was just quite boring, because the main focus was you vs the bloons, no longer you vs the other guy, both of you struggling against the bloons and against each other.
This showed up in my recommended and I had no clue that Bloons TD games were this huge, I just remember playing Bloons TD 5 on my ipad in 7th grade and getting detention for it and continuing to play once I was out of detention, as well as playing it at my friend's place whenever we'd hang out in 6th grade. I swear I did nothing but play COD games for that entire year until Skyrim came out.
The Gatling monkey is my favorite tower, but when I played btd in its btd 5 and monkey city days, the game being banana farm meta made Gatling awkward to use since its two different things that need to be managed during the rounds instead of before and after rounds.
Class of 2014 here Bricky. Can 100% agree with those games. I’d also like to add that MW2 helped me learn how to toss a grenade at a perfect arc like stickies to have them go off right on a persons foot.

I have over 100 hours in this game. As a 21 year old I am immensely entertained entertained by this monkey game. Also the purple witch monkey hero. Her sacrifice totem procs bomb blitz. Bomb blitz kills everything under ZOMG even ddts. You can click a button, lose 1 heart and clear your screen. This is insanely good if you have the regenerating heart buffer from the knowledge tree.

Bloons TD6 is one of those games that is easy to get into but has so much depth. I have many times caught myself spending a whole day just playing bloons on my phone and having that moment of "fuck I was only gonna play a game or 2".
