The combination of the picture book aesthetic and batshit insane powerdynamic between the bosses and a single ork honestly makes it seem as if this whole story is... a story. An ork bullshitting something together to impress the others and I gotta say, I like that idea. Adds another level of comedy.

@@catsuno228 There have been orks who were very familiar with human cultures and structures, some even tried to emulate them. The best example is the short story "The enemy of my enemy" (I think that was the title?), it's not too far fetched that some might know about knight titles.
Also, this would all be inside their imagination. The whole string of names may not be what the Ork actually *said* but what he was describing, maybe "an' den the humie juz' went off prattlin on with 'is big names".
Imagination can fill the gaps, just like it does with minute details like how exactly you shot a guy.
In the dlc, his healthbar is his title. Every hit slowly makes each title disapear

There should be a stealth mission where a gallon of purple paint is spilled on you and you become invisible.
That would be amazing. Maybe a DLC.
There should be a big vat of purple paint, and he falls into it because he can't see it.
But his guns are not suppressed but he says they are quiet but they're still loud when you fire them but no other enemy reacts to it because orks
Maybe the reason Gargaz could do all these crazy things is because Gork and Mork were watching over him and wanted him to get back at Gutrekka cause him stealing Gargaz's hair squig was neither gorky or morky.

See, the multiplayer bugs are actually features. The warp becomes strange and unstable the more orks are in the same place and thinking along the same lines, giving them strength enough to do things like push Lord Horrik out of bounds.
Also damn, this ork rolls _good_
I usually never cared about military aesthetics and tanks but Warhammer has me going "oh shit it's the Baneblade" like it's an actual character

It's a fine line. Orks are entirely made up to be comic relief, so in order for it to be serious it needs to be done perfectly essentially. Another good example of this in Warhammer but done more tastefully is how cheeky Traezyn is when Necrons are usually super egotistical shitheads lol. The Silent King lamenting about the destroyer cults while Taezyn is sitting over here like "OOOOOHOHOHO! Don't mind if I DO stop this instance of time and imprison these two fighting Space Marines and forever trap them in my vault! How delectable of a battle to witness!'

Tip for players:
Use Waaagh!!! With the shokka pistol and watch as health bars of bosses melt, killed the Knight Valiant in seconds once I got the meter filled up.
I believe it works by firing at a very high fire rate and since it is a charging weapon it fires at max charge aka max damage so it does max possible damage very quickly

It's not an exploit, it's just how the waagh works.
yeah I recommend using the shotgun to build WAAAGH!!! faster and then switching to the shokka pistol to delete anything and everything you point it at. it does suck the fun out of the game though so I'd rathe rnot use it.

As someone who has continually bought stuff from the Adeptus Ridiculous line, I can confidently say that the merch is high-quality and very comfortable I regularly wear my “I’m a tank I’m a tank I’m a tank!” Hoodie both around the house and to my local game store. And I always get compliments on it! The customer service as well has always treated me right. Once I received 73 dice instead of 75 and the brickster came in clutch and sent me five extra dice! I yearn for the day where my Helbretch forehead wiping memes I will be put on the shop. Unfortunately I don’t have a Twitter and Bricky deleted his Instagram, so I doubt he will see any of them anytime soon.

It’s good to see that GW is realizing that that making all their games play out like the table top is a bad idea. Please make more games like dawn of war dark crusade where hundreds of units are tearing each other apart.

Hey bricky, just wanna say you are the reason I got back into destiny 2, and got into warhammer 40k. Your intro videos on explaining the factions really helped me! Great video as always!
My favourite thing about this game is the little grimdark details scattered around that show this is the 40K you know and love, just through the ork lense which might as well be the pyro's glasses.
In particular I remember finding a plushy in one of the rooms. The realization that a child lived there and, seeing the state of the city, might be dead at the hands of the orks or the cult, left me cold. It's all fun and games for Gargaz and co, but it's a nightmare for everyone else.
The sentinel is there as a prelude to the knight, every boss in this game has a smaller mini boss before it that represents it.
The Brick™️ ranting about Warhammer never gets old
I played one of their previous games, Guns, Gore and Cannoli more or less shortly before this game was announced. You don´t get a lot of side scrolling shoot em up games these days so that is a fun change of pace. Probably a great pick for a boozed up evening with friends.

I am still sad that they didn't put Yorrick as a secret boss and him being nearly impossible to beat.
Yarrick is canonically dead now. But there's a shrine dedicated to him in this game!
No boss sadly, but we did add a Yarrick reference in there for all the fans, try getting all achievements and check the new hat you unlock from it. ;)

Tbh, I bought one of the black hoodies from the orginal merch drop (roughly 4 year ago) with the last of the money I took to college with me. It has to be one of the best purchases I have ever made. It is extremely soft on skin, breathable yet durable, and kept me warm when I needed it through the cold Philly winters. Even now, it is one of my favorite pieces of clothing to wear over 3 years later due to the quality and memories wrapped within it. 10/10 would recommend grabbing a hoodie.

The tonal differences with Shootas, Blood, and Teef compared Darktide is almost the same thing with Animal Crossing and Doom

I got the Admech shirt and love it. I’m asking for a little guy admech hoody for Christmas and am considering the adric dice. The shipping was super fast and the shirt is comfortable and didn’t shrink up in the wash or lose the print at all. Higher quality than I expected and I can’t wait to order again.

Lord Horrik canorum reminds me of this meme I once saw that I can’t find anymore. Basically a drop keep (which is a castle shaped drop pod that holds 20 knights) drops down in front of a bunch of traitors. Unveiled its banners and plays ear splitting trumpets. And as it lowers its draw bridge the loudspeakers say the incredibly long names of the 20 knights and their huge amount deeds one at a time. And unfortunately for the traitors there’s 30 more dropping from the sky.
I love the plot because it gains a second layer with the prequel comic they released.
Gargaz wants that Hair Squig not just because it's extra snazzy, but because it saved him from getting krumped by an inquisitor that blew up his entire squad of boyz.
Lord Horrik's health bar should actually start with his name and title, and then slowly turn into "big metal git what's standin' between me and gutwrekka"
