The subtitles were not really correct at at least one point: At 5:39 he said ”Det problemet har vi inte här i Skåne”, which means ”We don't have that problem here in Skåne”. The subtitles said the opposite of that.

Then he goes on to say ”everyone already knows (that we’re idiots)”.
Unless you know the diffrence between the Swedish dialect, this one may be lacking in context.
Essentially, Skåne’s dialect (Skånska, or Scanian in English) is known as the Swedish dialect closest to Danish. This is because Skåne, Halland , and Blekinge were all a part of Denmark for the longest time. Either way, Danish=stupid in the minds of Swedes.
Other than that, Skåne also has a reputation for having some quite fertile farmlands, so Sweden at large also thinks of farmers when they hear the Scanian dialect. Because farmers=stupid, as is the stereotype everwhere.
But basically, he’s implying it is a good thing, because at least Skåne is honest about its stupidity.

@@Draktand01 Att the time when the Norwegians built Bohus Fästning (1308), the rivers nearby separated three countries from each other. Bohuslän was Norwegian, Hisingen was Danish and the other side of Göta Älv (älv=river) was mostly Swedish. So the Danes controlled stuff all the way to Göteborg (which wasn't even built yet back in the 1300s).

There are a lot of problems with the subtitles. I have posted examples of some of the mistakes above.

Too bad the subtitles ruin several jokes. I don't understand exactly who could have translated this, because they manage to get some fairly complicated sentences right, but then make mistakes on really simple stuff. Especially pronouns seem to be a big problem for some reason.
    Some examples:
At 1:20 he says "I was curious", not "they were curious".
The mistake at 3:24 is really bad, because it completely destroys the joke. What the translator put down doesn't even make any sense. The correct translation is "They even have a hard time understanding each other."
At 6:09 the translator apparently decided to make fun of Finland, even though Glans didn't. It isn't Finland that is geographically inferior. The correct translation is: "Your geographical knowledge is inferior."
