I feel like everyone has some what of a crush on Johan.
He doesn't look anything special, but knowing how cozy, kind, sweet and clever he is, you can't *not* have one.

Johan actually speaks with a Skånska (Scanian) dialect, so to most Swedes he might actually sound a bit more Danish. As someone learning Swedish, he's kinda hard to understand.

I don't know about other but I haven't had a hard time understanding Johan but I can understand why people from other countries can have a problem understanding him because he talks fast

As a swede I can confirm this is hard to understand

Skånska är en blandning mellan svenska och danska. Går långt bak i historien

They have french R, and they use diftongs. That's it, it's not hard to understand at all.

Learning Norwegian here, I was surprised how much I actually understood, but I had extreme satellite link effect! 😂 loved this, thanks for sharing, it literally brought tears!

Yeah as a swede I understand like 95% of what Norwegians say as long as they're not from Bergen

So here is the deal about Scandinavian languages as a Finn understands it (we are not Scans! We are just Nordic): Norwegians understand Swedish, but not the otherway around. Danes understand Norwegians, and to an extend, Swedish, but no one understands Danish. It is literally like trying to learn to speak Swedish with a mouth full of marbles. So sorry Danes, no one understand you, but we all love you.

It's kind of correct, I have never had any problems understanding Norwegian and I think that most Swedish thinks it's quite easy. Danish is really hard.
The strange thing is that Danish is easier for most of us to read than both types of written Norwegian (but we understand most of that too). So Danes has the language that are theoretically the most similar to Swedish, but they might have some inherent speech impediment 😁

it’s ironic cause as a northern swede i have difficulty understanding his deep southern accent, it sounds like danish to me

I could only find a clip from TV4 on the milkshake joke. But RUclips doesn’t allow me to add that clip. I know it was a part of a longer show he made. It was a part of a tour in Sweden.
