Thank you ☺️ I’m 34 and just bought my first tray of neck bones lol. My beans are soaking ✅ and my neck bones are boiling ✅ Timer on ✅ Next up corn bread and rice! I’ll comment again when everything is done! Thank you!!! 😍🥹
Great recipe! Thanks, I'll be making this tomorrow before the arctic cold settles in on me Saturday. Some cornbread on the side, and I guarantee...delicious!
I have recently fell in love with Northern beans and neckbones. I like regular neckbones instead of smoked. I love it! I'm saving your recipe because I know I might be missing out. I'll come back to let you know how they turned out.
I just found this channel while looking for bean recipes. I went looking for more videos KC had posted. Sadly, I saw the one posted by her husband. To KC's husband and family, you have my deepest condolences. Life has so many ups and downs 😢
I’m making these tonight. I’m glad I came across your channel. I love the way you explain. You seem like the type of person that only tells it how it is period!
Scrolling through various videos to make this dish for the first time and, yes, I'm glad I found your video. I am going to make your recipe. I can only imagine that the flavor profile is immaculate. Thank you for sharing!
I just found your channel and I'm going to binge watch your videos now. I'm going to make these beans for dinner tomorrow with rice, fried chicken, collard greens and cornbread. Great job on your video!
omg why am I going to make this like RN!!! this looks sooo good!!!. It looks Just like how my dad back home used to make. I miss his food. Thanks for sharing this!
I have all those ingredients in my pantry, but my turkey leg isn't smoked. Imma use it anyway 😬 I grew up eating beans so much that I've strayed away from making them as an adult, but now as I wait for pay day, I need to gone ahead and make this meal because I know it'll stretch us for a few days. Thanks for the recipe.
I like the northern beans because they cook in less than half the time of navy beans. But navy beans to me have the best flavor… I always add carrots to my bean soup and my spaghetti sauce especially my spaghetti sauce. It has a certain kind of sweetness. I’ll put at least four regular size carrots in my bean soup, but I’ll put about eight carrots in my spaghetti sauce. when I’m making quarts of spaghetti sauce.. my family always tells me “don’t forget the carrots when I told him I’m making spaghetti sauce
I just had to sub girl!!! The way I was taught.! Great presentation and instructions. If I may, have you cooked pork neck bone Ina smothered tik gravy with white beans, and ham hocs and salt pork with a little sugar added to da beans? OMG! The combo of the beans with a touch of sugar once it hits that gravy! Instant orgasm in da mouth! But absolutely live your presentation! Brings back memories
Her food looks SO delicious and half the comments are about her smoke detector? This dish, plus that cornbread, look SO mouthwatering, the last thing on my mind was the effin’ smoke detector … I didn’t even hear it!
Sister, thanks for sharing and please try to not eat hot food out of plastic. It leeches into the food and it’s very unhealthy. Thanks for🙏🏽 Can’t wait to make this, but I will do it with smoked turkey.
@@seasonedwithlove8927But, the beeping means it's time to change the batteries again. Great video, but the beeping is distracting. How do y'all sleep at night? That constant beeping would drive me crazy.

Thanks for the video and recipe. That chirping noise sounds like your smoke detector’s battery is low. Be safe and thanks again. Time to make it now

I've always wondered why broken beans are discarded. What's wrong with them?
Nothing at all.
What kind of cube was it ?
I was vibing with her from the get go but then I heard the smoke detector and knew the recipe was gonna be 🔥
Yes lord

Once you add beans to neckbones how long do you cook for?
Not very long about 45 minutes or until the beans are at your desired tenderness.
😊
It’s all good❤
Can we get you some new batteries for your smoke detector. LOL We love you.Change those batteries .
Thanks for the video and recipe.
Hope you enjoy
time to change those smoke detector batteries
Hey Casey here to get caught up on my sweet sister channel
Thank you I love seeing you here.
Following this recipe now. My only question is does it matter the amount of water you cook the neck bones in?
God Bless
dang looks good
Thank you
Auntie so I need to cook the beans separate after they soak? And then let them cook with my well I’m using ham hocks lol
No you can cook them together but they might be too tender before your ham hock is fall off the bone so that’s why I don’t do it that way.
@@seasonedwithlove8927 thank you! I had to just go with my gut. My beans are delicious 😋 and my ham hock was nice and tender
Her food looks SO delicious and half the comments are about her smoke detector? This dish, plus that cornbread, look SO mouthwatering, the last thing on my mind was the effin’ smoke detector … I didn’t even hear it!
I live in the midwest and we dont do white rice with this. Neckbones and beans and cornbread the whole meal. I aint never seen rice with this
Missouri here, we're the same. Literally, salt, pepper, ham of some sort, beans. Carrots if your lucky & CORN BREAD for sure.
We eat ours wit rice in Mississippi and Chicago
Me either, mom never included rice?,
I’m from Detroit and in 54yrs I have only seen beans served with rice and hot water cornbread ✨😋😋
@@moniquew6198 st louis here, maybe I'll try it one day
yummy
You didn't mention the amount of liquid that should be in the final dish.
Sister, thanks for sharing and please try to not eat hot food out of plastic. It leeches into the food and it’s very unhealthy. Thanks for🙏🏽 Can’t wait to make this, but I will do it with smoked turkey.
This recipe was delicious, but can we talk about that smoke detector beeping in the background?
This looks absolutely Devine!!!! ❤new subby! Can’t wait to see your page grow!
Aww thank you so much and welcome
Will you please change the battery in your smoke detector. It's distracting. lol
The smoke neck bones should be cooked meat side down. Meat would be totally submerged in liquid.
Change the damn battery in your smoke detector.
I had it changed a long time ago
@@seasonedwithlove8927But, the beeping means it's time to change the batteries again. Great video, but the beeping is distracting. How do y'all sleep at night? That constant beeping would drive me crazy.
She doesn’t say how long the cooking time is.
She cooked the beans about 45 minutes. Someone else had posted that question.
I’m I the only one that still uses “sweet meat”?
