The dot hack is great, but I'm definitely incorporating the hand cream hack into my routine. It would solve the mess of removing not only saturated-color polishes ("dark" colors aren't the only guilty parties!), but also glitter bomb polishes. Thanks for the tips!
Nice hacks! I also suggest Sally Hanson quick dry the one in the red bottle it dries your nails in 2 minutes & its a very glossy top coat! I love that stuff
I love it, sally Hansen also do another fast dry top coat in the silver topped bottle. It’s good but not as glossy as the red bottle, although I find the one in the red bottle goes goopy quite fast
These tips literally are going to save me so much struggle that I’ve had growing up, I got the holo taco and want to make sure I make Cristine proud but I’m an only child I never had a big sister or family around to show me stuff like this thank you!
Wonderful video! Since you asked for other nail hacks my only addition would be to suggest a clear undercoat before dark polish so there is no nail staining when you take it off.

My favorite nail hack was the dark polish one! I love dark polish and wear it often, but it really does get ALL over my cuticle/finger when I try to take it off... Will definitely be putting lotion on my fingers first from here on out! Thanks

Hey can you make a video on taking care of nails actually and not relating it with nail polish? I never wear nail polish but I still want my nails to look awesome and healthy by themselves.
I take care of my nails {without nailpolish} by applying natural oil like argan oil, olive oil, coconut oil, or whatever oil you would like, and i clean my nails with warm water and lemon (cut it in half) and than i put it in the water and leave it for 10min. And i apply vaseline (petroleum jelly) every night and i put a top coat on my nails for no breakage and dirt ^_~ and i file once a month on my nails... not too much tho. But yeah thats how i keep my nails healthy without nailpolish.

My nail bed is really short, almost like a kid's. So it is almost impossible for me to do my nails, I always mess it up. But I think videos like this will help me. I love that it is not pretentious :) thanks !
This is hands down the BEST video on how to polish, remove polish and care for your nails. I'm so glad this video just popped up as a suggestion for me. I couldn't hit the Like & Subscribe quick enough. My absolute favorite tip is putting thick handcream on first and then remove dark polish using a one direction stroke. I love dark polish but it always stained my fingers and was a hot mess afterwards. I would have to bathe in polish remover to get it off, which it never completely came off. Now I'm going to wear dark polish whenever I want!
*A tip to overcome nail biting* : Apply about 3-4 coats of nail polish on your nails. This helped me overcome my habit of biting my nails and I really recommend it too.
I do the opposite! I make my coats as thin as i can (while still being enough) because I find when it's very thick it's easy for me to just peel/bite off where as when it's thin I can't really do that, might just be me though!
I do my own nails for manys year and it never crack or chips. Until one day I got tired of polishing it and decided to try something new and that was fake nails just clue it on quick and easy right well now I regret doing that. Now because of all that my nails got messed up, it chips and crack in the middle I can't keep up filing it and use professional products to heal it starting from the bottom, it has been 3 months now with my nails therapy and it is taking a long time to go back to once it was. Thank god I came across your channel this is something new for me...I never knew
Great recommendations! Latex for around the cuticle!! GENIOUS!! I tend to get alot of glue around my nail because I use alot to ensure the nail stays. I wonder 🤔if the latex stuff will remove that too.

I like the hacks, good tips. But polish with no base coat was DRIVING ME NUTS. If you're going to give tips, the #1 tip should be to protect your nail with a clear coat.

i had one too :( the way i overcame is that i drew/painted my nails and reminded myself how dirty my nails are so i don't bite them.i hope this helps if you still bite your nails ! :)
There is a polish called Mavala Stop and it works wonders. I tried everything to stop biting and nothing but this worked. It’s been about a month and I’ve broke my habit completely and I don’t even put my hands near my mouth.

Because there are people like me out there who have finally started growing their nails after years of biting and abusing them and, like me, know nothing about how to perform care/maintenance/styling of their new nails. There is a polish called Mavala Stop and it works wonders. I tried everything to stop biting and nothing but this worked. It’s been about a month and I’ve broke my habit completely and I don’t even put my hands near my mouth.

Wow. That was super useful information. Can you do more tips and tricks videos? Because there are people like me out there who have finally started growing their nails after years of biting and abusing them and, like me, know nothing about how to perform care/maintenance/styling of their new nails. I stopped biting mine a year ago but find I am getting issues with painting them and generally looking after them. I found this video today really, really helpful. Omg the last hack wow I didn’t even know ❤️ I really have to try the stainless nail polish removal hack cos I wear red all the time now 💖 And I always get nail polish on the sides pooling up so I’ll try and practise using your tips now 💓☺️

I needed these tips! I hate painting my nails because I always end up looking like my 3 year old daughter painted them 😂 I just paint my toes lol since they are less noticeable and look cute with open toed shoes.
