i bought the kap169 for my hummer, i tried and failed yesterday, gonna try again today to put it on the driver rear. thinks for the tips, this is the only video for the hummer
wytonryce jackson do you have a H3 Hummer? Im not sure about the kap169, but if your Hummer has a 6.0 try the part I got listed in the description. I know it fits the 6.0.
Hi from a free timer mecanic. And a proo in plate parts. How much tools do you got in that garage ? I am a Coachbuilder my self. and for me I have all the tools to do do Plate-parts work. and only a few Mecanic tools. To mecanic work. But I can pull of. with some wrenches and some other toolssets and some screwdriwers. I only ,make small cars in my shop
Coachbuilder is and awesome title!! You can let your artist skills show on the design of cars. As far as tool in the Man Cave, I got your basic needed tools like wrenches and sockets, pliers and screwdrivers. I have acquired several specialty tools as needed when the job demands it, like wielder, tap n’ die, drill press, power tools. Other stuff like the tool box, compressor, plasma cutter and such I’ve waited until I found them second hand or dirty cheap sale in order to buy them. I’ll my tools are not much more and a lotta times a lot less than what most have who have a passion for automobiles. Great question, and I hope my videos interest you and you enjoy watching them. I try to release a new video on the second Saturday of each month. I hope you will subscribe to my RUclips channel.
Great video !! I have an 08 Hummer H2 6.2 L....I have that annoying ticking/leaking sound from the passenger side exhaust manifold bank. I also do have code P2270 (O2 sensor signal stuck lean bank 1 sensor 2) do you think it might be related from the exhaust manifold leak. I will throw an O2 sensor and hope it clears as i wait for warm weather and throw new manifolds on.
Transport Auto great question!! The code indicates to much air in the exhaust, an exhaust leak from the manifold seems like it could trip it due to exhaust gases leaking out before the sensor giving it a false reading. If the new O2 sensor throws the same code, then fixing the exhaust leak might remedy the situation.👍👍
@@ninold80 is it leaking due to cracked exhaust manifold, or because manifold gasket? Might just be time for new gaskets or upgrade to some performance headers.
I'm suspecting only from the gasket bacause its seals back after surface getting hot. One question tho, upgrading to another header means i have to spend on broken nuts removal right?@@MichaelEd
@@ninold80 🤷♂️maybe….maybe not. I know manifold blots are notorious for getting seized, you never know until you try. Worst case scenario is you take it to a shop and have them deal with it. I’ve got 205k+ miles on mine, it’s still running well, I might try headers one day.
alan makki Maybe, maybe not. code P0300 misfire is a specific problem with many components that can cause this. Yes, an exhaust leak could cause this code. O2 (oxygen) senors analyze your exhaust as it travels before and after the catalytic converter to help the ECM adjust air and fuel ratios. 🛑Not to say that is the definite reason why you’re getting a P0300 code. Something is out of wack or failing. Your vehicle requires three thing to operate “Fire, Fuel, and at the right time (timing.) When the ECM gets information from all the different sensors, like: (Maf, O2, knock, cam, throttle positioning, etc) it makes changes to the air, fuel, and timing ratios to compensate. If you have a cracked manifold like mine, some of the exhaust gases are escaping out before the O2 sensors and therefore sending inaccurate information to the ECM, and in turn the ECM is adjusting air/fuel/timing ratios to try and correct the false reading from the O2 sensors. ⚠️BUT........... that might not the the only reason!!!!! Check you maintenance history, repairs and services because there are many things that can cause that code, like spark plugs, spark plug wires, maf sensor, throttlebody dirty, battery, fuel filter, fuel pump, clogged air filter, multiple things can cause that code. 🤷♂️I hope this was helpful.

We have a large controversy a lot of people say the Hummer is not a good but I say it's really good I respect the Jeep but I love my Hummer and respect my Hummer why because it's more strong and I can remove a trailer Easy alot torque to make a video what is the different
Bought a 2003 Hummer H2 and this is exactly what was wrong with it. You have no idea how grateful I am for this video.

Thumbs up Mike...gotta love it when you can find a quick fix for a tuff situation!
For sure. That’s my daily driver, and I don’t need it at a shop for long repairs.

How many to this parts I have to buy if i want to fix both side leaks?
It is one part for each side, and the part is side specific. Make sure your get the correct one for the correct side.
@@MichaelEd ok. looks like i have to buy 4 of this for each corner

Don't have that problem YET on my '03. Can you give us the manufacturer and part no's that you ordered? Thanks...
Sure thing Joe, I put links down in the description below the video.
