So upon some of your suggestions I've been listening to the Bonfire videos roasting Corey Feldman to no end and it's some of the funniest shit I've heard from a podcast in a long while, had no idea these even existed when making this video.
You haven't seen funny... Til you see Feldman live. I seen him last yr when he toured, lol, and it was absolutely everything you'd hope it's be and more... With the video to prove it 😂😂😂 It was definitely.... Something 😂😂
@@Em22-wtf my first encounter with him was over 20 years ago in Florida.. My band warned up for him ..I was only 18 at the time and we were ok as a band but after Corey did about 3 song's people started chanting our bands name lol he got pissed after another 15 min of that and walked off
@@4everseekingwisdom690😂 that sounds about right... I seen him last yr and only went for shts & giggles.... He blocked me long ago on Twitter when I asked why he needed a movie & a million dollars to release the full names 😂 he didn't like that. When a friend of mine messaged me to see if I wanted to go see him live bc he was coming downtown (a small city about an hour south of Boston, they used to book a lot of 80, 90s bands, but CviD forced them to sell the venue part & they barely have shows anymore unfortunately). I know he was late for the show, which in turn made him late for the after show hang out/meet & greet bc we had hung around a bit after the show to see what he'd do when he left. The tour "bus" which was a short camper basically, was parked right out front and other band members were just hanging around waiting, but Corey & the wife (she was still W the band when I seen them) hadn't come out still even 45ish min later so we left. It's just wild to me that so many people were there. It wasn't sold out, but it was Def more busy than I thought it'd be 😂
21:19 that’s the biggest lie though. They weren’t really friends at all and Feldman covered for Haim’s abuser for years. Haim called him out on it on their show and Feldman has contributed to spin all kinds of lies about Haim ever since his death. Feldster is a sick dude.
Actually what your describing is how you get that cool warble sound-singing out of tune thru auto tune- he is just so flat it's like it's not even registering any recognizable note.
I'm grateful for honest to god trainwrecks. Too much stuff is just dreary, uninspired and samey. We need music that's actually embarrassing to listen to.
Whenever I feel very depressed, and see no hope. I remind myself there are people like Corey Feldman in this world and I find hope right away and automatically feel much better
I knew that this "music" sounded very bad, but I really appreciate your use of music theory to explain exactly WHY it sounded so bad. Great stuff, man.
Cory Feldman has ALWAYS had a strange obsession with Michael Jackson. So much to the point that he is literally trying to look like Michael Jackson. Things become stranger when you learn that he was actually "friends" with MJ when he was a kid.
Corey's dad was in a band. This is why Corey does music, to get back at his dad. He doesn't really care about being a famous musician, he just wants to get more attention than his dad so he can "win".
He said in an interview a while back that his music is purely his passion project. That he doesn’t make anything off of it, and it costs him a lot. Like his indiegogo for this album only raised about 15k (when he was going for $100k or smth) and a Snoop Dogg feature is $200k. Idk how he funds all of this when he makes no profit off it.
As a drummer, I've had too many experiences with Corey Feldman types, who think they are owed success. People who have enough skill to start working with other musicians, but no desire to grow themselves. Unfortunately, it can sometimes take time to realize this. You notice that someone is making the same mistake, at the same part of a song, in every rehearsal. That's Feldman. He has a strong desire to be known as a good singer and dancer, but he refuses to admit, to himself, that he is neither. So instead of just putting the work in, he ends up with a sound that stagnated 20 years ago, and hasn't changed at all. Vanilla Ice did the same thing. He had that one hit, then decided he wanted to be Nu Metal, as a way of shaking his neon 90s persona. He got a chance to do one of those VH1 remakes, and just stuck with his weird Nu Metal thing, 15 years after Nu Metal had died. They think they're above it all, that they're at the apex of talent, and they are OWED all that success, yet the time they put into improving their craft is exactly 0 hours over a lifetime.
You're missing the real story. Corey's dad was in a band and in music production. He's doing it to outshine his dad. As long as he's getting more attention than his dad got, its a win for him. Dad and Corey dont get along. Its all to get back at his dad for stealing money from him.
I know exactly what happened; Corey Feldman was an impressionable 11 or 12 year-old while making Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter, and witnessed Crispin Glover's bizarre dancing in that, so he was convinced that there wasn't any possibility that any dancing he might ever do on camera - no matter how outlandish - would be considered odd enough for anyone to fixate upon...and he was wrong. VERY wrong.
i don't know if you saw the full clip of that live performance but Corey's band attempts to get the crowd to chant "the comeback king, he's the comback king" and they were never able to get anyone to really do it, it was awkward to watch
I remember listening to that needle drop guy Fantano review this. This review is much more entertaining and in-depth and better information behind any criticisms.
Agreed with everything you said, yet, the whole time I kept thinking how cool it would be to get high with him for one weird afternoon. He was in Gremlins, F13 part 4, Goonies, stand by me, burbs, lost boys, license to drive and he knew Michael Jackson. But thank you for listening to this so I don’t have to sir. Feldman's live performances are the best of the worst. His onstage yelling at his band and knocking his teeth out on various microphones. It's just too much.
Met Corey at a horror con a few years ago, and I felt sorry for the staff, as he is a notorious pain in the ass and drama queen at these shows. And yes, he was dressed as Michael Jackson, and wore his sunglasses like Johnny Cage 100% of the time.

Go 4 it was done originally done by some Turkish Cascada type of singer. There’s a video for it that you can find on YT, and I believe snoop is in the video. It looks and sounds like Corey bought the rights to use the song, but instead of covering it, they record the exact track with the original singer singing go 4 it in the chorus and snoop’s rap, and Corey just recorded his vocals over it.
By far one of the best albums of the century. What do you expect from a review when Felddog had his dance moves and music and lyrics taken from him by Jackson? All those hits by Michael Jackson, where do you think they came from?
During a long lost 80s interview. The actor Sloth, hey you guys, was quoted as saying he was Corey's biological father. Sloth drunkenly stated that back in the mid 70s he lived in LA in a broken down Motel 6 enjoying the attentions of a bevy of satanic porn stars, blow, booze, and kick $ weed. Maybe this is naive and silly of me, but maybe considering what he's been through, let's just....let him be happy and do what he enjoys? especially given that he's not hurting anybody. He was used and abused as a child star
12:13 evidently Corey’s old band The Truth Movement was formed in the 90s, and Crossed the Line is a song they did on their 2008 album Truth Movement's Technology Analogy. Which I didn’t figure out until you mentioned that his old band was attached to this song. So, the lore goes deep with the Feldster
