I love this!!! Emily- I feel the same with facetune/filters/etc. I feel weird presenting an airbrushed version of myself as well. But...I do blur the background in 99% of photos cause I don't want ppl to see my average-person/ ppl actually live here home lol
Bagels.. my fiancé grew up in NYC and I grew up in the Midwest. I have a specific memory of visiting his family on the upper east side for the first time EVER. My first time on the east coast. His mom asked me what type of bagel I wanted and I responded “ blueberry with strawberry cream cheese” .. she was horrified hahah I learned very quickly I do not eat my fruity bagels in NYC.
Switched over from the pod to youtube SPECIFICALLY so i could see the raw hem pants. 100% agree!!! Gross and the strings would tickle me and make me think bugs are on me 😨
Omg on the cringe of texting the wrong person. I kept breaking dates with this really nice guy because my toxic ex would reel me back in. The new guy was patient with me and I was honest about what was going on---we even joked about it. Like when I sent him a text saying, "Sorry I can't make it tonight. Went back to the ahole." Except I sent it to the ahole ex. Ooops. The good news is that my slip-up helped end things with the bad relationship and I've been married to the nice guy for 16 years nows!
