I am down to the Pard night stalker 4k lrf 70mm vs Zulus Lrf. The Hikmicro Alpex 4k is not available here. So looking for the next best thing. My ATN X-sight gen 5 is ok but there's clearly better to be had.
Ian, Do you know if the ballistics can store only one or multiple sets of data for several rifles say?
Multiple ballistic profiles
Seriously considering a 4k lrf.
Another good video,
Should have tried the on board ir on the zulus too for a fairer comparison .
Go to the end of the video, they are both using only the inbuilt IR of the Zulus.
The comparison is not entirely fair. The Alpex costs over a 1000 dollars and the Arken Zulus AD with the Rangefinder ( and believe me I tested them in the field ) cost 775,95 is a perfect scope foor easy 105 yards .
They both produce a great image, hard to know which one to buy for longer range varminting
For daytime the Arken Zulus has the edge on quality, up close for rats and long range at night in any weather condition the Alpex 4K has the edge.
Alpex clear winner. That been said. Bullshit about distance. My alpex with pbir is not good to 300 yards. It’s also got a trully appalling Battery life. Despite the false promises
Is your Alpex the new 4K one?
In some other reviews I've looked at, the 4K Alpex seems to have less dynamic range, causing the foreground to whiteout when correctly exposed for the background at distance. You can see it a bit in this video also.
Zulus seems better in low light.
I was hoping the Alpex would be the clear winner, but I don't think it is for all requirements.
Smart IR was off in these videos, enabling it balances the full image@@paulh71
I can assure you that hedge with the pylon behind is was 280 yards..
@@blackwoodoutdoors Smart ir on the Alpex of Zulus?
Why the crap music - spoils the video
Turn it down, takes about 2 seconds.
what a totally useless comment. background music has been proven to hold audience attention. You'll never please everyone, so just turn it down if you don't like it.
❤❤❤❤❤
I was looking to purchase this Arken Zulus, BUT, after taking advice from several people/business's I wont be buying one.
Due to issues around the clarity of the picture which I am advised IS quite poor & build quality !!!!!
The Image on the Arken Zulus is good to be fair, excellent in daytime and good at night with the right IR.
