The chemistry between you is heartwarming and a pleasure to observe. Additionally, I really enjoyed the slower paced laps. I felt like I learned a bit of the track I wouldn't normally notice at "average" lap speeds.

Misha..if I may....Megi's first couple laps were astounding...could really see her getting more and more comfortable as the miles ticked off...and to see a first time lapper more concerned with nailing the fundamentals and being safe put a huge smile on my face....seeing you two together..her enthusiasm..the smiles and laughter...I believe is a dream most of us car nuts have. Thank you both for sharing this experience
With training she could have some serious racing chops. She quickly began to see the ideal line, and using it when ever there is no traffic. She has the insight, and the confidence, yet she also has the common sense and she's vigilant. I've seen plenty people who simply don't have it - the lack the brain power. You struck gold, my friend - never let her go. You can see the pride on her face as she grows more and more confident.

I love how as the lap went on, you could see the confidence coming out. Someone who goes on wanting to be safe and get the fundamentals, and then picks up the pace as she gets more confident.
Also love how Misha went from being the worried passenger, to praising her for clipping apexes in the right place.. Looking forward to more Megi and Misha adventures

WOW! Misha, your manners with each other are exemplary. My wife does all the driving for us now, after I had a stroke and lost much of my sight . We're both elderly, yet we have a well-fettled Volvo V70 T5 with manual transmission which is great for bombing Toronto down to Nashville and other points south. BUT I am a no longer the driver. I am the most horrible right-seat reactionary. I need to learn patience and how to not freak out. I need to learn the trust you two have in each other. I have ridden motorbikes since the '60s and driven long hauls on bikes, in cars, and moving vans since the beginning of the '70s, There is one province, two territories and 4 states I haven't driven or ridden through. Yet my confidence and experience are now meaningless unless I can pass them on to Claire. That's a tough let: I get frustrated with her not driving as I used to, especially in the busy traffic of Toronto. She's great on the highway and there I can relax and read to her. Claire used to do hundreds of thousands of road miles each year as a Bluegrass band leader. She always had one of her band guys did the driving. Now she drives me and I complain. Courtesy of you and Megi (is it?), I now have a new relationship model on how to sit right seat and encourage rather than shriek in fear. Thanks to you two, you are great together. Exemplary. If Hollywood doesn't come knocking, I know people who know people... meanwhile, I reckon it's time for us to find an elders' track event where Claire can take our Volvo onto a track, as you two did here, and get instruction on how to improve our skills and confidence in either seat.

did 4 laps in 2002 on a weekday and i had so much fun :) Scary part of the ring is when you go up a hill and no idea what is behind it .
If I may suggest, just drive a speed you are comfortable with and increase from there. There’s no reason to be scared. If you are uncomfortable, then you are pushing beyond your current experience level. Just slow down a little and give yourself more time to get comfortable. It will come.
I love seeing reactions that are as real as real gets! She did extremely well with her laps. So glad to see this so that I can use it to remind people that Nurburgring is for everyone and all levles of talents/cars.
People often get too caught up in lap time and can forget to enjoy the car & experience. Misha said it great enjoy the car & the lap.
EV’s maybe a great car to teach people. The quiet calms the driver & allows advice/instructions to b heard easily.

It's cute when she goes into default Croatian from time to time. With concentration and excitement it's totally understandable. Hopefully she gets hooked and we get full serial of you teaching her to get faster and faster
This was great. Both of you are lovely. Shes now more experienced than most of the commenters! Very jealous. I remember feeling so excited and amped up after my first track day. Getting over that anxiety and fear of just the whole process. I knew how to drive and track knowledge etc but it was everything around it that I didn't know about.
Absolutly impressive. Perfect line and nearly constantly top speed. Most impressive was the sovereign use of the right flashing light 👍🏻🤟

This was actually surprisingly entertaining to watch haha. The slower perspective over the usual send is actually really nice, cuz the first lap had Misha's commentary for learning corner's names and what line should look like!
That was really good! She didn’t seem or look nervous at all, smooth steering inputs and very aware of other cars! And you were a good passenger too! A successful first couple of runs for your girlfriend, well done to her!!

What is actually really good about this video (besides the good driving of his girlfriend) is that people who will go for the first time to the track can learn a lot from his instruction on how to behave on the track for the first time which some tips. Really really enjoyable to watch, Megi getting her confidence and picking up watching for faster cars, using the correct etiquette and finally you being a great mentor. Not always easy when a couple! Finally, the bouncing around the carpark afterwards just seeing her elation! Fantastic. 😊😊🎉
Megi you did just great, you both had a lot of fun and it was just the right level of coaching and knowing when to just let her get on with it. She was so good at her situational awareness, checking her mirrors loads, well done Megi! She also did a great job of keeping to the right of the track when she had to and that in itself can be quite tricky as you haven't got the luxury of the whole track to play with. More vids like this Misha, Megi has a lovely lively personality and is a fab asset for your channel!
Top job. Absolutely amazing. Misha get this woman a season pass and a car and just let her go. Track awareness is spot on and she knows the braking, accelerating and turn in points. Definitely a race driver in the making :)

She did a great job, just like you said - to see her handle the traffic and be fully aware at all times is a lot more than can be said with a lot of drivers. And that goes even for the public roads, let alone a racetrack. You could see her confidence grow but instead of getting carried away with her technique she remained vigilant of the action around at all times. Really great job.
I think also there is an extra level of pressure for her too, even though there is a level of comfort with it being Misha in the car with her, I think that can also make someone want to make sure they are performing up to expectations of their partner. Clearly though there is a lot of trust between you two. Hope she can enjoy some more laps in the future, thanks for sharing.
