We once rented an STO for a day, and the tires were absolute garbage. At first we thought they put on some cheaper tires because it's a rental, but the guy at the rental company said they're the tires that came with the car.
In the motorcycle world this is a pretty normal occurance, they come with cheap rubber (and not much of it either) that doesn't get good grip and very shallow thread depth, manufacturers do this to save money, and also the thin rubber makes the tires have less rolling resistance which is better for fuel efficiency and the shit thread depth makes less road noise, but i woudn't expect this from a pre0mium manufacturer such as Lamborghini in the car world.
This is very common in the car industry. My parents bought a brand new Honda and it came with Kumho tires. Swap them out if you want to. Its easy. Manufacturers spend their money on the car for things you cant easily swap out
Maybe the wheel alignment is off due to hitting the curbs or something. I find it hard to believe this car would be so unstable at these speeds, even the regular Huracan was always very stable and planted.
Ive driven a huracan evo it was RWD though and tbh they dont feel that stable. Even tho they are rwd it should still have a lot of grip , was dissapointed

I wanna say that Misha constantly checking and offering to get off track and she telling him to complete the lap to be careful just shows the class and and trust between them this is amazing to see
That seems normal to me. We are talking about people in a long committed relationship, not teenagers on their second month of hanging out. If you can't say the same, you may want to take a harder look at your situation, whatever it may be.

She's done fast laps here before, I think she can handle how fast this car is, but that's not why they were uncomfortable. Especially with the recent crash still lingering and the crash they saw on circuit.
You know what I will say it. Respect to your fiancée for voicing her concern and telling you to slowdown when she didn't feel safe. She accepts the risks you take for us all for this channel but she knew it wasn't safe for you both to drive this car fast.
Exactly, I was out with a friend on a sand rail for an early morning rip and for whatever reason I felt really bad about the situation. I had no reason to, I'd been out in that rig with my friend in that area plenty of times.I told my friend we need to park it and he did so immediately. I've never done anything like that so I think it spooked him. There was a fatal accident later that day so we felt extra creeped out.
@@CROWNZI So, which tracks have you tracked the STO on? Me? Spa, Paul Ricard, Ring, and Knutstorp. He is spot on. Nervous, oversprung, vague steering, disconnected. That is how to best describe the STO. A friend of mine worked as a development driver for the Lambo Trofeo series until 18 months ago, he will tell you the exact same. He left because he was done with Lambo and their ridiculous attempts of making track cars that did not work.
I really admire Misha for listening to what she wanted. This kind of person is a real car enthusiast and cares about other things without being selfish. I hope there will be more people like him.
I love seeing the chemistry of you two on screen. The way you got her to throw her arm out at the carousel was so loving since you knew she was not having a great time on the lap. Even when your videos aren't action packed they are still so good. Stay blessed.
The way Meg is just keeping her calm, even when Misha is going "slow" (100-180 in 3 seconds)... props to her... that lap would have put fear in the hearts of grown men... bless you, Meg and props to Misha for.bein a class act in more than just one way.
Why. To appease her? And then have no content to show? Seems like she's able to detect the handling issues pretty well on her own too, so just confirming what she already registers will just calm her down, letting her know he's aware of it too.
Honest videos are valuable in these days. I just subscribed precisely for the two of you being real. And I'm glad that the two of you listened to that bit of intuition that stopped you from pushing this car hard. Thank you being a good example of honest communication between two people and respecting each other. 🙏
I am 5min 16sec into this video and I must say that quite a lot of people would get a bit worried as you already mentioned ‘not the best tyres’, ‘brakes that could overheat’, seating positing and access to the break pedal, ‘a bit floaty’, ‘no grip at all’, … I couldn’t blame that lovely fiancée of you.😊😂
@@keanogames7785 No. The car as is, is overpsring. This makes it nervous and combined with a steering that at best can be described as vague, gives it that floaty feeling. I don't think I've ever seen Misha that concerned about a car's handling so soon on the lap, and I must have seen well over 100 videos now. Pretty weird if you ask me! If he's worried I can imagine how Megi would feel

Big applaus to Maggie for getting back on track after what you witnessed a few weeks ago. She's a keeper - to bad that the lap was crap (apart from the smiles in the carousel)❤
I’ve not driven the STO but have rode passenger a bunch of times and it’s incredible how unpredictable and unstable it feels. It’s a strange feeling when you’re in a car that is literally on the floor and you expect decent suspension dynamics, especially on a track trim version. It’s kinda insane, these cars are just designed for those to flex. So many better cars out there, especially for the money
@@ermias75ermis2 they engineer the car to have road experience and drama. So the sketch driving and drama feeling works for their customers. But I think with the right tire setup it could be a big difference. But if you want an actual track experience, something like an M4 CSL would do better.

The closest experience I've had to driving a Lamborghini was through a simulator. My impression was surprisingly negative and I felt it was one of the worst cars to drive within the simulation. Initially, I attributed this to a potential error in the settings by the simulator developers. I could not fathom that Lamborghinis could be that bad to drive. However, hearing Misha's opinion about Lambos, made me reconsider my impressions. It's quite possible that the simulator accurately represented Lamborghini's poor performance. A fascinating revelation indeed.

@@adxangeles7842 Yes and no. I would not go as far as to call Shmee clueless, but he is not a seasoned track rat, much less a racer. On the flipside of that he is obviously an owner. He does understand the basic pros and cons of living with that car, and he does have the ability to talk subjectively about his experiences with that car. That said, there's something important to remember. Shortly after he got the car, he put it up for sale. And shortly after getting that car, he did express a few things which did not seem very satisfactory to him. Unfortunately, like other STO owners, he seems to be on the struggle bus when it comes to the sale of that car. So, now he has it again, and therein lies a conflict of interest. He still expresses willingness to sell that car, but in doing so, there's a limit as to how negative he can afford to be about it, especially with his public persona. But think about this. There's a video where he took it to a track shortly after he got it. Look at how he drives it. Here I'm not talking about any potential lack of talent on his part, I'm talking in general terms. He is struggling with it on track. Look at the video where he is banned from the Ring, it's the same. Fighting the wheel, a throttle input that is less than smooth to say the least etc. But either he does not understand what is going on, or he chooses not to talk about it - but it is there, clear as day. It's a catch 22. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. I'm genuinely sure that he will be quite happy the day he sees that car leave, and I doubt we will see a lot more content with it from him. The Lambo year is coming to an end, so it will be up for sale again this winter, I guarantee you that.
The first couple minutes of video is specifically talking about the tires being wrong for the track and sure enough, the tires don't seem to work well for the track. So... he blames the car and calls it a grocery getter? I've seen enough. Begone from my feed.
I know the feeling you are talking about, I tried multiple wheels on my car, with multiple tires, it's the tires some companies make their tires from jelly, it's like driving boat and the boat is floating around. pretty scarry for high speed and corners.

Yes and no.
