I tried doing this on my GoPro 8. I made sure the gps was turned on but when I go to add the stickers it won’t let me. Please help

He is jumping from one thing to another at lightning speed. I have decided that the people that can figure it out ...don't need this instruction, and the ones that can not figure it out (like me) won't be able to do it no matter what. So much for me having a go pro.
I imagine the best thing to do in the mein time is to keep them cameras rolling. We'll figure it out. Right now I am working on your heavy lifting. We'll get together, don't worry about it.

My hero 8 always says gps data not available, i made sure it was on in the camera every single time I use it but I'm never able to use the stickers in any of my clips
Thank you for this video. I have tried it with my go pro 8 . without any housing i was able to measure the speed in the video. but in the videos which i ve taken with housing on gopro i was not able to see the speed. Do housing effects or blocks the GPS?
Yes. The Media Mod does not block the GPS signal completely, but does make it weaker

this means you have to have a subscription to be able to add a speedometer.. thats so ass. youd expect to be able to use that shit after buying a 500 euro camera

Finally got it for my Go Pro Hero 9 Black. I had to hit the "pen" "Edit" icon then slide to the left and of course the options for "Stickers" was the last option literally one more setting to the right.

What does it mean if your stickers for mph/speed is locked. Only one that’s open is the 1st sticker the go pro sign I can only put on videos

When I try to add the sticker nothing happens, it only lets me add the Go Pro sticker

you get there in the app. not on the gopro. as long as you have gps turned on, on your camera, you can put in the "stickers"

Change your phone language (region), I saw this answer in gopro site. In my case I had Spanish (USA) and changed to Spanish(Mexico).

It should, as long as the go pro has gps built in, as this speedometer is in the go pro app and shouldn't depend on the camera itself.

Yes, you have to put it on your phone using the gopro app, then add the "sticker" for mph.. save it, then download to your PC. Hope that helps.

I agree, for some reason when I tried to do it on the computer it didnt work.
@@GReviewz I downloaded the app, got to the point where it gives the option to add gauges, but it says I don't have GPS data even though GPS was turned on.
GoPro Quik for Windows and Mac has not been updated in years and is not compatible with the GPS data in the new cameras. You will need third party software like Telemetry Overlay.

Which is your app. I'm the guy who had issues running it on the new m1 pro with 16gb and had to ask for a Windows license. My m1 max with 64gb arrives soon, I'm hoping that works better!
How did you add digits to the g force meter in the title page? In the video, you 0 zero digits?
Thats becuase the screenshot for my thumbnail was when i was decelerating and there was 1G of deceleration. While when you are just driving along at a constant speed, there are no active G-forces.
But how do you get more accurate g force visualization? 0 g or 1 g is so inaccurate. How to get like 0.2 or 0.4 there?
In the app I can see a lot of icons except edit icon
