One thing I have a hard time with is the captions. I still need to "autotranslate" to English sometimes. I just figured out that I can move the English captions up so that they don't interfere with yours! YEAH! I love your videos!

These pronunciation and connected speech drills are for me the most beneficial offering on this channel. Each time I can identify my own mispronunciation and I am directed how to improve. This is very good. When it comes to repeating the entire sentence, I find it easier if first I practice working from the last word of the sentence, each time adding the next word and then the next word until I have all the words strung together. Then, I can easily repeat the entire sentence from its beginning using this drill. Even when working backwards, I can still join words as required. I wonder if I have clearly explained this??
Hahaha, I actually didn't get the idea of practicing the pronunciation with the last word, but if you want to say that practicing the pronunciation of each individual word first helps you connect them all later on, it does make a lot of sense to me, yes! :) Thank you for this precious comment!
@@portuguesewithmaria It’s difficult to explain so I’ll try with an example. The sentence is I like to eat cookies. So, I repeat as follows, cookies, cookies eat, cookies eat to, cookies eat to like, cookies eat to like I. Then, I repeat the sentence from the first word to the last word. Somehow, this makes it easier. I didn’t make this up. I’ve seen teachers use this method in the past.
