What a great 2nd take❤❤ I’m so happy we talked you into giving it another try (and may I add that you have such beautiful skin)!! You'll love the bronzer, Lynn. Do you have some redness in your skin on your chest? What colours do you normally choose for your foundation? I haven't purchased anything from O/S. What's your skin type? the Givenchy isn't my favourite. I know everyone loves it but I think it looks a little dry on me. I posted a video awhile ago showing the difference. Wait! It was actually a livestream. The Haus Labs sits better on my skin but I'm normal to dry and it's often dehydrated.

I don’t plan to purchase this foundation, but it definitely looks better this time around! I liked the beauty sponge application as there isn’t any excess product sitting on the skin. Thanks for updating us! Lots of love from Old Ottawa East! Xx
I like the Beauty Blender side too and it's not sharp like the application that comes with it. HUGS from Ottawa West. I'll be moving slighly closer to you I think. A little South East.
Thank you!! I'm so happy you're here with us!😍 I know "us" sounds strange but it really feels like a group because everyone is so kind and helpful. I used to go live in the spring but I'm in the process of moving so it's been put on hold for a bit. I'm also working hard to get better quality. I'm not a fan of using my computer camera. If you can't see details, it doesn't make a lot of sense. Anyway, I'll be back to that in the fall. I have fun getting to know everyone.🤗
I have mature skin as well and try different products all the time. I haven't tried the TirTir yet but you have inspired me to order it! Your application is truly flawless. Gorgeous!
@@JulieMeikle I have combination skin but a little on the shinier side by the end of the day. Currently using FitMe foundation and setting powder and it truly works for me and very affordable. I alternate between IT Cosmetics and my FitMe but used Merle Norman back in the day. I've tried the Il Makiage and that was a bust. Oxidation was TERRIBLE! Also dabbled with the Seint and I do love their cream blushes! Your skin is beautiful btw!
@@sandrabrannon266 hmmmm, I may have an unpopular opinion but I’m not sure the TirTir Foundation will work for you. Dior Forever Matte, Hourglass Ambient Soft Glow, Smash Box Halo Tinted Moisturizer or even their foundation would work. Of course there’s Estée Lauder Double Wear. I saw Nikki La Rose use the TirTir Foundation the other day and she said she loves it though. She has oily skin. If you do buy it will you keep me updated please. I’d love to know how it sits on your skin.
@@JulieMeikle I'm thinking with the creamy texture it may not do well with my skin type too but I'm still going to give it a try! I will absolutely update you! 😊 Thank you for the list for me to try 😀 I do love tinted moisturizers and they work with my skin. I love a full coverage but not feeling heavy. I do prefer a matte finish because at my age I don't need to be shining bright like a dewy diamond 🤣 58 this year 😊
@@JulieMeikle I will definitely keep you updated! Thank you for the recommendations too 🤗 I have tried the Estee but that was many many years ago and products change and our skin absolutely changes. Love your channel ❤ Positivity and women lifting women UP! 👑😊
Oh wow, that looks amazing. Have you tried the tiny finger puffs for applying foundation under the eyes? They’re mini make up blending puffs, that go on the tip of your finger. I wear a Korean BB cream as a foundation (Missha … gorgeous finish), and I use Embryolisse as a primer, too! Great minds, eh? Anyway, for day-to-day wear, I don’t use concealer after applying the foundation. I just use a teenie bit of the foundation and tap it in with one of those little powder puff blender finger puppet things. (I call them finger puppets) 😂 ETA your hair colour is so pretty.
Thank you, Mimi! You're the second person who's mentioned Missha. I have to try this one now. Where did you purchased it from? And where do you you buy your finger puppets?😂
This showed up in my recommendations so I clicked because I just got my Tir Tir but haven’t used it yet. When I heard the “eh” at the end of one of your remarks, typical Canadian emphasis. I clicked to see where you’re from and … of course …. Canada. 😹 I’m in Ottawa!!!! 👍🏻🫶🇨🇦
WOOHOO! I'm in Ottawa too! On the west end. Jodi's from here too.😃 I mentioned her in my video. Yay! One of these days we'll have to go for lunch or a glass of wine. Jodi's been with me since the beginning and has joined on my livestreams. I love getting to know all of you and I literally have no social life.

It's gorgeous outside. Dave and I have been sitting out here since 6:00 this morning.
@@JulieMeikle Awww, no problem Julie. 🫶 I’ve lived downtown for almost 30 years now. I don’t drive. It was super convenient when I was working. Walking distance to work, dentist, doctor and aesthetician. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I will most definitely keep my eyes peeled. I do go shopping with my sister in the west end. 💓 It is gorgeous out. Just sitting have my tea with the cat on my lap. Trying to get my butt in gear to workout.
Great video ❤ It looks so pretty on you, I guess that because the product is a thin formula it can ruin the look if you get to much on the skin. But I think it stil looked werry nice after a long day. I'm sure that you have helped others too try it again if they have it and it didn't work out fore them. Great job ❤ Big hugs from Denmark. 🌹🥰💝
@@JulieMeikle Yes it's mabey a good thing to have on the goo. I liked the trick writh dapping the sponge on the indside off the lid. It looked werry pretty on you. 😀👍💝
Julie it looks really pretty on you. I’ve tried it and I love how this foundation sits on my face. So interesting how makeup sits differently on all of us. I love Dior backstage too and that face palette sits in my desk. 😊🤗❤️🥰
Did you make the same mistake I did in the beginning and use too much? What do you use to prep your skin with, Ilinca? Did you create a video? I'll have to go look.
I am older, with dry skin. I like mixing a little Elf Halo Glow with the Tir Tir on my palm, then using a brush to apply it on my face. I like the finish that the elf glow gives, but it is sheer. so just a little tir tir really add the amount of coverage you want with a little glow/skin like texture..
I'm new here just one thing I learned about this foundation from a youtuber Kelly, she put some on her face with her fingers then went in with a wet beauty blender and it came out amazing!
I have to try it that way. I saw Nikki La Rose use a brush with it too but she's much younger than I am. I like it pushed on with a sponge or a dense brush better. Do you have this foundation, Nellie?
You persevered and it looks great! Really beautiful finish. I don’t feel like it lasted that long considering I thought it claimed to be long wearing? But it touched up nicely! Great review. Thanks!😊
Honestly, that's what I was thinking too. I should do a side by side wear test with this foundation and another one that I know lasts on me. This is why we have so many foundation options. How it lasts on one may be very different than another. I'm older than the other creators I've watched. Do you know what lasts on me all day? It's the Smash Box Halo Glow Tinted Moisturizer. It was my most used product last summer. When I'm self tanned I'm in light medium. So good.
@@JulieMeikle Good to know! I will have to try the smash box because I have been trying to get into the tinted moisturizer but they don’t seem to last more than an hour and then I think, why did I bother? I could have gone without or done regular foundation, either would have been better! Lol
We have to remember everybody skin is different… One single product is not going to work on dry/normal/oily skin .. while also remembering different skin tones, tones of skin, wrinkles, and pigmentation.. With all of these different combinations and we all pick up the same product it’s not gonna be the same on everyone that’s just science . I’m not a huge fan, but I’m also 50 years old .. and the shade is too light and the next shade is gray and the shade was orange🤷♀️ Shade is huge in any foundation and can make or break the look .
I couldn't agree more, Janice. That's why I had options when I worked freelance. Sometimes I would try a foundation on a client and realize it wasn't going to work. I had no problems taking it off and starting again.
😃 You'll get it to work. I haven't picked it up again because I've been filming with other products. The next time I'm going to use a stuff brush to push it on. I see Nikki La Rose use a looser brush with a swiping motion but her skin is perfect. I think I need to push it into my pores and wrinkles. Will you keep me updated, Belinda? I'd love to know if you like it.
@@JulieMeikle thank you, I hope so! I haven’t tried it yet. I’m not going anywhere today so I’m having a no make up day, letting my skin breathe. I will let you know once I try it. I’m going to use the pad in there and try it as they recommend it.
I only use one very light press on only half the pad. My skin looked luminous all day. I spread it with my fingers, but I would use a brush or a sponge if I got a little bit more.
Such a fun product. I’ve been having a lot of fun with mine, including playing tirtir tennis in it lol- very little transfer at all to my visor, sweatband, and face towel! Would love to see someone swim in it to test lol!

I just found your channel and I really enjoyed this video! I’m gonna take those tips and try the tier tier again .. a lot of it has to do with the shade. I too have 23N and I think it’s a little bit yellow on my neutral skin… but I’m glad I came across your video… I was watching Robert Welch, and he said that cushion pads should be rolled across the skin, not patted. He also had demonstrated which I so appreciate and which is why I appreciated you a video as well .. I’m gonna try your new found method on one half and then I’ll try Roberts on the other👏👏👏👏 Yippee here we go
I'd love to know how it turns out, Janice. I struggled with the application for sure. I need to try it again too. I'm not having the same experience as a lot of other artist are showing with the longevity of it though. I have other foundations that last longer than this one for sure.
It's pretty, and the price point is great. But, if the product makes you really work for a good result, is it worth it? For me, I like an easy, no fail foundation (until my skin changes) that I can rely on.
I'm with you, Robin. I rarely take this much time to put my makeup on. I like it and I'm really happy I tried it again but it's not going to be in my top picks. BUT, it would be great for touch ups. I'd rather touch up with liquid than powder. I would use something like this or a stick foundation like the Merit Perfect Complexion Stick.
@@JulieMeikleSo a brush or a beauty blender can be used instead? I don’t like working with that little puff thing. I guess I’m just not used to it. Maybe I’ll try it again if I can use it with the other tools. I just don’t like having to work to make something look good. I’m used to putting something on very quickly and then I’m done thank you for showing us the correct way.
Hi Belinda, I'm not sure why I didn't get a notification when you commented. I wonder if it's a setting. I'm only seeing this now because I was looking for another woman's comment. The answer is yes, I prefer to use a brush or a beauty blender. Sorry, i didn't mean to ignore you.

Wow Julie it's beautiful! I liked mine the first time I used it even though I used a little too much. I was wondering about it settling in my forehead wrinkles. Now that I saw this, I'm going to try again and be more careful. I liked the color I picked too. I love how you did a little touch up too!! Thank you so much for sharing your talent. Wow. I've always wondered about the paladio? eyeshadows. Love the way the tir tir looks. Thank you for directing me to this vid you always look stunning and glad to see you can freshen up after a long day.
I bought this and used a foundation brush to put it on. I went on my 78 year old face like butter. I did not have to use very much. One thing I agree with you is, that I will start using some glow highlights, like CT. The wear was fine for me and I am totally impressed with this foundation.
Julie, you look gorgeous! TirTir for sure isn’t for me. But Iam ordering the UnLeisha cushion foundation in Satin finish. It’s the green one. Althoughhhh the have a glow cushion and baby face cushion( I hope I remembered correctly). Have you watched Nikki La Rose’s review of TirTir? Anyhoo, you looked gorgeous. Loved the eyeshadows your wearing also. I so much wanted to be able to use Lumify, but my Optometrist told me absolutely No. said it can cause a great deal of inflammation with long term use. So good to see you again on video format. Have a great week sweetie.
I learn so much from all of you. I've never heard of UnLeisha Cushion Foundation. Where are you buying it from? I caught a little bit of Nikki's live on Sunday and she was using the TIRTIR Foundation. I get confused because the first time I saw her use it, she didn't seem thrilled but in her live, she said she can't put it down. She was applying it differently though. Lumify is controversial. I asked my eye doctor and he said it was fine. There are mixed views on it. I only use it when I'm filming. I think that's when I really notice my eyes are red. Otherwise it doesn't bother me. Have you seen your doctor yet for your shot?
@@JulieMeikle YesStyle. That’s where I purchase all of my Korean skincare and delving into some of their makeups. Love shopping their app. I go Thursday. 👍
I was thinking of trying that too. I saw someone dip into the cushion directly with a brush but with a light touch. It looked nice as well. I'm going to keep playing with it. I think my skin prep had a lot to do with it too. The Tatcha Water Cream didn't play nice with this foundation.
Im glad u gave it a second chance. I'm 65 with combo skin in a humid climate. I lightly dot on w/applicator then blend with damp beauty blender. Flawless finish. Getting correct color was a challenge because Im in between with fair skin.

I’m an ideal neutral…’but I DO have rosy undertones. Mostly I go for a neutral base… but lean towards a cool colour
@@JulieMeikle oh and fyi.., already bought!!😂❤️ you’re a perfect sales lady for their products!!
Do you know your foundation shade in Estee lauder double wear?
Good question. I just checked. 2N1 Desert Beige is my colour.
Thanks for the update. I will definitely try it out.
I hope this works for you. 🤗
According to Robert Welsh, we’re supposed to put our index finger and ring finger through the loop. Leaving our middle finger out.
Hi how are you doing that Fondation look very beautiful ❤❤❤❤
It looks beautiful on you! I'm new to your channel & I'd love an eyeshadow tutorial 😊 Your eyes always look so great ❤
Hello Julie, definitely better this time, the complexion is perfect, I love it.🤩🤩🤩
Phew! I almost said in my bubble "Sorry, Audrey for my bad accent."🤣
@@JulieMeikle Love your accent, it's so cute
You look beautiful!! I’m going to try the Tir Tir again using your tips!!
I'd love to hear how it goes, Annette.
I have mature skin as well and try different products all the time. I haven't tried the TirTir yet but you have inspired me to order it! Your application is truly flawless. Gorgeous!
Thank you, Sandra! What are your favourite foundations right now? What's your skin type? I have normal to dry skin if that helps.🤗
Thanks for this! Love you! 🩷
😍 You're welcome, Jennifer! I'm happy it helps. Love you too! Big hugs!
Love your glasses! Are they readers or prescription?
I really wanted to love this! But I cannot seem to wear it. It just cakes and catches all my dry spots.
(I call them finger puppets) 😂
ETA your hair colour is so pretty.
Canada. 😹
I’m in Ottawa!!!! 👍🏻🫶🇨🇦

Oh wow!! Small world! The “eh” gave it away. 😆 I grew up in the west end.
I’m downtown at the end of Rideau Street. I would love that Julie. Always love supporting Canadians on YT. I have no social life either. 🥴🥴🥴🤣 We must keep in touch and get together. 🫶
ACK! RUclips didn't notify me that you commented here again. If I don't comment back please know I didn't see it. It seems to happen when there's a thread from one comment. I try to respond to everyone.
If you ever see me out please say hi. I rarely go downtown but I love the energy. My husband travels from one end of Ottawa to the other for work so when so when he goes home, going downtown is usually the last thing he wants to do. I hope you have a beautiful day, Gerri! It's gorgeous outside. Dave and I have been sitting out here since 6:00 this morning.

Awww, no problem Julie. 🫶
I’ve lived downtown for almost 30 years now. I don’t drive. It was super convenient when I was working. Walking distance to work, dentist, doctor and aesthetician. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I will most definitely keep my eyes peeled. I do go shopping with my sister in the west end.
💓
It is gorgeous out. Just sitting have my tea with the cat on my lap. Trying to get my butt in gear to workout.
Great video ❤
It looks so pretty on you, I guess that because the product is a thin formula it can ruin the look if you get to much on the skin.
But I think it stil looked werry nice after a long day.
I'm sure that you have helped others too try it again if they have it and it didn't work out fore them.
Great job ❤
Big hugs from Denmark.

I think this would be a great product to bring to touch up with. It's nice but it is finicky. I'll keep playing for sure.
@@JulieMeikle
Yes it's mabey a good thing to have on the goo.
@@scorpfelidae2439 that’s a great suggestion. I love mixing my own concoctions. Beautiful.
Love that you made the TirTir work for you❤
Me too. I'm happy I tried it again.
Lol
We have to remember everybody skin is different…
One single product is not going to work on dry/normal/oily skin .. while also remembering different skin tones, tones of skin, wrinkles, and pigmentation..
With all of these different combinations and we all pick up the same product it’s not gonna be the same on everyone that’s just science .
I’m not a huge fan, but I’m also 50 years old .. and the shade is too light and the next shade is gray and the shade was orange🤷♀️
Shade is huge in any foundation and can make or break the look .
I couldn't agree more, Janice. That's why I had options when I worked freelance. Sometimes I would try a foundation on a client and realize it wasn't going to work. I had no problems taking it off and starting again.
“ let me get my vein” 😂
This color is a perfect match. It looks amazing on you. wow
Thank you! 😍😍
❤
You are so hilarical!!!
And so adorable!!!
😍 Thank you, Kate!
I’m watching this again! 😂. I got the TirTir on sale on sale for $17 for Amazon prime day.😊 Hopefully I can get it to work.
I'm going to try it with a brush the next time I use it. Thank you, Chrissie. How long have you had yours? I wonder how long it lasts.
@@JulieMeikle , about a month. As I have dry/normal skin, it lasts all day. Some people have said it oxidises, but it does not on me.
Make up forever wherever walnut is one of my favourite lip liners unfortunately it’s impossible to get in the UK

I just found your channel and I really enjoyed this video!
I’m gonna take those tips and try the tier tier again .. a lot of it has to do with the shade. I too have 23N and I think it’s a little bit yellow on my neutral skin… but I’m glad I came across your video…
I was watching Robert Welch, and he said that cushion pads should be rolled across the skin, not patted.
He also had demonstrated which I so appreciate and which is why I appreciated you a video as well ..
I’m gonna try your new found method on one half and then I’ll try Roberts on the other👏👏👏👏
Yippee here we go
I'd love to know how it turns out, Janice.
@@JulieMeikle that’s ok Julie, I’m really just not a fan on the Tir Tir, I love my liquids. I have so many of them that I’m just gonna stick with them 😁
I can’t emphasize that LESS IS BEST. I use the sponge applicator & it works fine. Practice makes perfect & it gives a nice coverage.
I learned the hard way, Nina. I changed the original video to unlisted because I didn't want anyone to go by my first application and opinion. It didn't look good but I used way too much. It's much better this way.
I never answered your question from last week. We're planning to move for my hubby's work & his family lives there & my family in orange county will be much closer. Vegas has everything! I can't wait to go shopping. I've been there a hundred times! It's a lot of fun and where we'll be living is in Boulder Nevada it's away from the city and by a lake. We have a boat we like to use a lot. So we like small lake towns to live in. We're in the Bay area now along the California Delta River. It's called Oakley. Lots of farmers and boat people. It's quiet and nice. So that's our plan. We're doing upgrades on our house now so we can enjoy it while we can before we sell. I hope you're getting offers on your house and that your new house comes together nicely. I'm so happy for you! I hope your health is doing well. I know it's a lot. I hate it. I wear oxygen 24/7 & it's so hard to keep makeup on cuz a rubs off in certain areas. Frustrating!!! I use primers, sprays, powders etc.
I hope you are feeling better after your tests and that the doctors will find a way to help you. I just hope you're ok. I'm doing ok. Lots of pain, weakness, stomach problems like crazy, auto immune diseases it's a lot. But we keep going cuz we know it'll get better. Good days are the best! Take care of yourself & this was an awesome review! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Your home sounds beautiful. I love the water. It's my favourite place to be. When I lived in New Jersey we could walk down our street to the water and the beach was only 25 minutes away. I would take my kids there. I would pretend I was on a little vacation. That's what your home sounds like.
Amy, I'm so sorry about your health. I'm having a hard time keeping track. Did I know you struggle with so much? I didn't know you have to use oxygen. Did you tell me that? I'm so sorry if you did and I forgot. Is it COPD?
Wow. I've always wondered about the paladio? eyeshadows. Love the way the tir tir looks. Thank you for directing me to this vid you always look stunning and glad to see you can freshen up after a long day.

Thank you, Cecilia!🤗 The good thing is if you try it and don't like it, you can return it. I'm glad I tried it again.
I bought this and used a foundation brush to put it on. I went on my 78 year old face like butter. I did not have to use very much. One thing I agree with you is, that I will start using some glow highlights, like CT. The wear was fine for me and I am totally impressed with this foundation.
Nice! Thank you for this. I've seen a few other people use it with a brush too. I'm going to try that next.
Yes love the Dior backstage eye shadows. Have khaki neutrals and very old warm neutrals.
I love Khaki Neutrals. I won't show it on my channel anymore because they discontinued it. I'm not sure why they would do that. Boo.
I’m soo pleased you re tried the TIR TIR and had a much better experience…
Me too, Kathleen. I'm so happy I gave it another try. Much better.
Some people apply it with the cushion and then spread it with a brush 🤔
I was thinking of trying that too. I saw someone dip into the cushion directly with a brush but with a light touch. It looked nice as well. I'm going to keep playing with it. I think my skin prep had a lot to do with it too. The Tatcha Water Cream didn't play nice with this foundation.
Really good to know!! Great idea to try again Julie.
I'm glad I did. I never want to stir someone in the wrong direction.
Im glad u gave it a second chance. I'm 65 with combo skin in a humid climate.
