    This is an error that can be common on Lenovo Computers.
    We are going to be using the Lenovo App called: "Lenovo Diagnostics"
    Follow the steps provided for the Lenovo tool. Depending on the Thinkpad you are working on the part replacement process can be different.

    This is an easy fix for anyone who has the Lenovo l14 gen 2 i5 11th gen Intel version ...the melody sound is not the lcd being bad if it was working lately ...the problem is your cmos battery needs to be disconnected...then power the unit om wait a few seconds and the screen will light up normally as intended ..once screen appears power unit off and re attach cmos cable and your all set !!!??

      Excellent fix, but for me it works just temporary and I have to open the bottom of my unit every time it appears again and again.
      I have followed your fix step by step, everything appers to be ok, restarted more times to test too, without any problem, but next day again- melody and black screen. Does it mean, that I have to change the CMOS Battery with new one? Or anything else I have to look at?

      The Same problem, i installed ubuntu then it shutdown and when i turn on it again i stucked at this music LOL, don't know how to fix

    What if I have the same sound code, and the same problem, but changing the LCD didn't worked?
    Actually the "touch screen" works, but I can´t see anything

    Hello
    Hope that you are doing well
    Last Friday, I used the laptop without any issues. When I attempted to shut it down, it displayed a message saying "Updating PC and shutting down," so I accepted the update. After the update finished, I shut down the PC as usual.
    Now, when I tried to start the PC, nothing appeared on the screen. Even the light did not come on, as if the PC was discharged. I followed this trick, pressing the emergency reset hole located at the bottom panel. After that, I attempted to turn on the laptop, and here is what happened (see the RUclips video filmed by me).

    Therefore, I am unsure what the problem is and where it originated from.

      Hello, i watched your video. You can follow the process of this video. Try to download the Lenovo app so you can troubleshoot the issue. Some that could happen after updating bios.

      Hey,
      Thanks for getting back to me!
      I've already downloaded the app, and it's showing error code 01000 as determined by the app. The solution suggested by the app is something I've already tried, yet I'm still facing a black screen. I went ahead and opened up the laptop, removed the battery and the BIOS, reconnected everything, but the same problem persists.
      I'm unsure whether I should resort to formatting the hard drive or using a USB BIOS flash. It's difficult to determine whether the issue lies with the software or if the update has affected the hardware. It's quite a complicated situation.
