I love how they're letting out little queef sounds when the bass is suppose to hit, because they have about half the air space they need smh... I have the same truck and there's no room under those seats for anything but 8in subs
What’s up man. I have 2011 1500 Crew Cab and thinking about doing the same sub and box setup. 4months in how do they sound??? Is it worth the money. Why did you choose a sealed box over a ported box?
They sound really good. The subs are 6.5" deep and being a 12" sub not many people make boxes that go that deep for the Rams. So I ordered one and had to take and modify it to get my subs to fit and not have any issues. I also had to buy seat spacers to space the seat up.
@@rc_1996 when you say “modify”…when do you mean? How much modification did you have to do? I’ve seen Steve Meade review these same speakers, so I’m very interested in the details to make them fit in this box.
@@kbbriggs8561 I had to take a grinder to make the box about .25”-.5” deeper. And inside the box I had to grind a notch for the speaker magnet to fit. It wasn’t anything crazy. Just take your time and it will fit. Might want to have some silicon as well so if there are any holes you can fill them so it’s air tight.
Get yourself a fox acoustics box. Best in the market hands down
Looks like a pretty clean install. That's what's up!!
Thanks man. Gotta throw something in urs. Tonneau cover and boat speakers in bed
@@rc_1996 I've always wanted boat speakers in the bed......

What is your gain and lpf set at because I done went through 2 sdr-12 pair. Burning the voice coil of both pair
Shit. I cut my tips off the back seat so I could put my seat down. 😢 what am I gonna do? I just ordered the box
What grill is that? I’m wondering if there might be one for a 3rd gen
It’s a 2017-2018 Limited Grille.
What’s your amp settings
You need a fox acoustic box
I searched and couldn’t find one that was deep enough for my subwoofers. I had to have 6.5” depth and fox box was only 6” deep.
The Fox Box actually has a 7inch mounting depth.
What wire harness did you use for Stock Radio..??

For the box I would suggest fox acoustics. They have a badass sub enclosure for ram trucks.
Where did you get the backseat spacers to lift it up so the subs won’t hit it
The spacer I ordered from Fox Acoustics and is a 5/8” spacer.
@@rc_1996 thanks bro I’m going with sundown 10s and those things need some flex room , thank you
👍🇵🇷🔨
Can you share the link for the spacers please
Do those subs hit harder than the kickers comp r 12??
What did u use to get the rca out the raido
Amazon sells an adapter to use for subwoofer.
I have link in the description
So, those speakers aren't shallow mount
No. They are minimum 6.5” mounting depth.
What kind of rms can you get out of this setup?
What size seat spacer did you use??
I believe they were 5/8 inch. From fox box
How do you have the subs wired
Does it sound good
Yes. It would have been louder if I was able to turn them upside down but can’t do that in the Rams.
@DDG
What size lift kit u use on your seat . ??????
5/8”
