The white is going to look stunning with the olive trees beyond. Can’t wait to see!

The backdrop really is stunning. We will need to add some plants around the shed and maybe even some vines or similar… so many options 😀

Love the ideas. I can’t wait until you all share what the final idea is. Personally I like the idea of the upward hinged window that offers a breakfast bar top under the window for your fam to have late summer ice cream or a little fruit and yoghurt before a swim.

I think you just set the scene and made our minds up to make sure that window gets that upwards hinge! Appreciate the input man!

I would defo do outside kitchen with ice cream bar 😊 I would clad it in wood but that is because I mike wood cladding the white render ideas would look great too ❤

Oooh ice cream bar is a fantastic idea! The wood cladding would look nice too but leaning towards a rough kind of render I think. The wood tends to need much more maintenance which is difficult since we don’t live there full time. Thank you so much for taking the time to give us your ideas 💙

Love your ideas so far of the styles you like, it’s going to look great especially if it’s not too smooth a finish on the render.

Thank you so much Diane! Yes, we are leaning towards leaving the walls slightly rough. Looking forward to getting it done. Thanks for your input 💙

Kalimera , in greece we cover the bricks with 2 layers or plaster (sovas) the thick layer is grey and the top thin layer is usually white, what are you looking is the texture of the top/white layer, to make it rough or quite silky depends on the materials you are going to use to mix the plaster, would be good to know what texture you want for the final wall before you start the whole process, after the two layer are dried, you can paint them the colour of your choice, would be nice to make the shed an outdoor kitchen with clay oven (the chimney is already there) all the best xx

Yassas! Thank you for this reply. I think we are going to go with a rougher finish as it will match the main house. We were at the building material shop last night and talking to the guy in there about the best materials and processes to use and he had a suggestion of a one-coat render called Durostick d42.
We agree with the outdoor kitchen idea, and the oven is a wonderful idea as well! Thank you for taking the time to give us your thoughts 💙

Have you thought about maybe partially of fully introducing some stone cladding? Excellent work as always, look forward to seeing what you guys do.

That is a very nice idea. We are going to be going with some kind of Greek style crazy paving on the ground so may well try to incorporate some kind of stone work into the buildings too. Thanks Chris 😀

Match the house makes sense? That rustic bumpy look is very nice. But.. the house will require a lot of work to match.?

Yes this could be the best option for now. We love the rustic Greek exteriors but I imagine they’re harder to get right than you’d think!

White and blue is a characteristic of the Cycladic islands. In the Ionian we have a different style and prefer more pastel colours. Just saying :)

Hey! You’re quite right of course. Our neighbour shouted over ‘Mykonos!’ When we were painting the shutters blue. We just like this scheme, although we did pick a more pastel shade of blue 😀

I think interior dimensions would be more useful to decide how to use the it... How thick are the walls? We don't know...

      Thanks for the input 😀
The internal dimensions are similar as the walls are only one block width deep.
