Bit late to the comment section, but I'e used my 9 pro fold now for a month or so and it is just simply amazing, by virtue of being what i expected. No niggles, it just works. I got my phone for phoning, and the "pad" for media, news and multitasking. Slam it shut and it is just a phone again. Simply brilliant.
I'm currently a two phone Andy with the fold and 15 pro. The form factor of the fold is so perfect and works so well for what I use my phone for, but damn, I am having a hard time giving up the iconic iOS features/ecosystems.
@@Technosolv the answer to that question is that you don’t. Apple Watch is hard locked to the Apple ecosystem. That’s another thing I had not thought about until your comment. AirPods as well. Those are less of an issue since they will still technically work on the pixel.

I thought it would be har dot switch but it wasn’t. With iPhone 16 debut is trash it’s easy for me to switch. I also have Z fold 6 and Samsung galaxy watch which is shelved. Pixel lineup is🔥
I just made the switch from iphone 13 to pixel 9 fold. First impressions , I do miss iPhone as "everything just works seamlessly" android or pixel feels buggy tbh. But am persistent to make this change successful thus getting the pixel watch and buds to complete the ecosystem !
He doesn't, he's only gonna use it for content and business purposes! But for the average Geek, who thrives on change and curiosity, like me ! I did switch back ! I was on Android, went the IOS path, and the 9Pro fold made me comeback to my Android roots !!
@@LoneWolfPack95 Not any foldable could make me come back, it had to be a pixel phone because of google call assistant. IMO, thats the best part of having a pixel. Google call assistant even sets it apart from its other android counterparts, ie. Z Fold, Oneplus, etc. My P9PF gets here monday ;)
i was in a brightly lit samsung store and within a minute of using the zfold, i just forgot about the crease, just completely forgot about the crease till i turned off the screen, unless you are a minimalist or have been a big time tablrt user , the crease won't bother you

I appreciate yiur honesty in just saying that your current setup is a pixel fold for business and use your iPhone for personal use. I no longer take those yiu tubers seriously when they label their videos for clickbait stating that im changing from ios to android everytime a device comes out. I currently use a zfold 6 and also have an iphone pro max. However, i do this because i love the ios ecosystem however i get bored with ios. Android can be a breath of fresh air with customizations. However every year i look forward to both ios and android updates and refreshes.
True that. However, to be honest with you, I gave up on Samsung. The Z Fold 6, it's amazing, but I throw mine in its box and it's put away till next year when I can upgrade, I will get rid of it and get the Google Pixel fold, that will be in his third generation, or should I say the pixel 10 pro fold, which is what Google might call it? Sure, it doesn't have the same polishness. S1 UI over Android, and the software could need and use a bit of work, but with the same thing. Design language and the fact that you got Samsung is accompany. Losing sales every year because they haven't brought anything exciting to the table. What are foldables? Then I won't go back to Samsung until they make something in the foldable space that attracts my attention. And makes me want to come back to them

At the moment my Galaxy Z fold 6 is sitting in a shelf inside the box that came in as my 15-day return window expired and there's nothing I can do till next September when I can upgrade to the pixel 10 Pro fold when it releases for now, I did order their current released pixel fold from their website for delivery as I live 5 hours away from Mountain View and I have loved it very much we get an amazing regular candy bar sized cover display and you have an 8 inch display when you need it to consume content and do whatever you need to do on the inside. PLEASE HELP ... Does the new phone still have this ridiculous flaw... When in widescreen orientation ( positioned for video viewing in widecreen) can the phone be rotated so the power plug is not on the bottom?.... On the original pixel fold the power is on the bottom when in widescreen mode. So instead of being able to just lean it against something and watch a movie, you now have to figure out how to accommodate a cord sticking out of the bottom... And irritatingly stupid engineering miss..my previous three Z Folds DID NOT have this issue
That’s because of the aspect ratio of the original fold. The new fold is more of a square so orientation doesn’t matter and the charger can come out the side instead

@@cptstirling8 iMessage is still my primary for all comms personally. I just use the fold for business related emails and the very rare Google message. So most of my friends and family use iPhone - and they can send things to iPhone. Of course this is a very rare use case. But I keep them very separate
I have had both. OnePlus Open is impressive hardware and easier to multitask. However Dex just makes the Zfold6 superior overall for me. I used the Android desktop but somewhat limited still. I use Dex with my portable monitor and my 77 OLED screen.
The widget on screen is a Notion widget for my Notion dashboard. It’s the app and service I use for productivity like daily task tracking and other planning/organizational docs I use to run my business

@@ETTMedia3700 What could they do? A video is in a fixed aspect ratio, so you will have bars above and below no matter what. Unless the video is in 1:1 or something.. You could ofc zoom in to fill the screen, but you'll obviously cut half the video out :P The boxed format on the 9 Pro Fold is why the Z Fold 6 display videos at about the same size, despite having a smaller inner screen. The Z Fold 6's inner screen isn't as boxed. But then again, i doubt many buy these phones to get the biggest inner screen video size? If i'm honest, i like the look of the Z Fold 6 better, but i'm still buying the 9 Pro Fold, for other reasons.

I think Google missed an opportunity to take advantage of the larger screen size with a stylus like all the Samsungs tend to have. I like the concept of sketching and taking hand written notes and signing things on this

100% - Apple Intelligence is such an anti climatic launch. Everything about Gemini and how it's grounded in actually Google data is amazing. especially considering I use Gmail, Google Drive, Docs. Contextual data and output is infinitely better at the moment.
Naw can't replace this with an iPhone maybe z fold 6 s pen capabilities etc yes but this pixel is rubbish and only comes max 512gb storage 😢 Way better options mate out there..

I used it and love it! It’s great. It’s actually fully fleshed phone. Buttt too big… too heavy and with a case it’s a brick.

I just got mine today. So far I am enjoying it a lot. But the aspect ratio isn't my favorite with the large bars on the top and bottom of videos.

100% - Apple Intelligence is such an anti climatic launch. Everything about Gemini and how it's grounded in actually Google data is amazing. especially considering I use Gmail, Google Drive, Docs. Contextual data and output is infinitely better at the moment.

Naw can't replace this with an iPhone maybe z fold 6 s pen capabilities etc yes but this pixel is rubbish and only comes max 512gb storage 😢 Way better options mate out there..
