Oh wow Ken, do I love pimento cheese melted on a nice hamburger. This is a really good recipe you have. TY sir
Thanks! 🙂
Thank you, Ken, I will definitely be making this cheese spread. Your video was very good, as usual, with the recipe included in the show notes. I really appreciate you and how you present your passions.
Thank you!
I have fond memories of running home from the school bus stop and mom would have either a fried bologna sandwich or pimento cheese sandwich and a cold glass of milk ready on the kitchen table. Yummy 😄 thank you Ken
Great memories! 🙂
That looks very good, I will have to try making this. Thanks for sharing
Hope you enjoy it!

Easy to make and you usually have the items in the pantry. Yummy.
Thanks for watching!
Looks good, and I’m glad to know that I am not the only one who looked all over the store before finding pimentos.
✅🙂
My mother used to make pimento cheese when I was a kid. It was so good. I’ve never made it. Must try.
It's very good! Enjoy!
Had it served with Chili in school along with half Peanut Butter and half one of pimento cheese. Still a favorite. Made some just recently.
It's so good and easy to make!
Oh boy so much better than store bought!
It is!
Looks delicious can't wait to try it. Thank you for sharing ☺️
My pleasure 😊
Thank you for the recipe 👍
My pleasure 😊
Just made this. My new go to recipe!!
Wonderful!
Ken your recipe is outstanding thank you
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Nice. Love this with plain old Fritoes or Bugles. Gotta try it on a burger now!
Enjoy!
As a child, I wouldn’t eat anything with the word “cheese” in its title 🤦🏼♀️🤷♀️ my grandma said I was the only kid she ever knew who wouldn’t eat Mac and cheese.. now, at age 49, I’m addicted to anything that has the word cheese in its title 😅🤷♀️ thanks for sharing 🥰
Ha! That's great! Enjoy!
Love how easy and with things that we always have at kitchen, you give us great ideas...
Glad you like them!
Hmm… We talking the mid ‘50s to late ‘60s here, folks. I grew-up with Mom making this for us, but she never used any sort of pre-shredded cheese, especially so darn THICK as those shreds used here. She DID use Miracle Whip; cost less than regular mayo. Mom had this metal cheese shredder, a round metal drum with a handle on one side. The drum, with all those grating holes, would fit into the shredder’s housing. You plopped a hunk of cheese… ALWAYS sharp cheddar for us!… into the basket above the drum, closed the lid part over the cheese, and started turning that drum while squishing down on that handle that closed the cover-part cheese. When I got big enough, Mom put me to work shredding the cheese. Ahh- MEMORIES! lol ✨🤗✨
Thanks so much for the memories, Ken.😁
Yes, I have one of those crank cheese shredders. It works great. I haven't used it in a video because I tend to make small amounts and don't want to dig it out, set it up, shred a few cups of cheese, wash everything, and then pack it away again. Just laziness on my part. 🙂
I will try this. It looks so good. I can almost taste it.
It's very good!
Yes I did grow up eating it. I loved it. I eat it now but don't love it like I did then. Same with olives.
You should try Blue Plate Mayo if it's sold in AR. They use only egg yokes. It's tangy but I like that. I also grew up eating Southern cheese straws and still love um.
Sounds good.
That looks delicious Ken. Thank you, I love pimento and cheese.
Thanks for watching!
I definitely will try this recipie, it looks simple and tasty!
Its super similar to a recipie for a sandwhich spread we have here in the carribean, except the ingredients are blended together. It has sharp cheddar cheese, drained canned pimento, spam and evaporated milk.
Sounds great!
Thank you for a new recipe version of my favorite cheese spread. I remember my grandma making her own with a big cheese block in a metal hand grInder( before the era of pre-shredded cheese) Brings back good memories….good on biscuits too…your recipe for those are super too!!
Putting it on biscuits shows yummy.
Great memories! Thanks for your kind words!
Ken , that looks good , I've never made my own , thanks for the recipe , God bless !
Hope you enjoy it!
Ken this is a winner! Love it.♥️
Thanks!
Growing up a friend's mother would make me pimiento cheese with no pimientos. Pimiento cheese is good with dill pickle relish. Thanks
Sounds good. There are so many ways to tweak the flavor!
Thanks. I just made it with ur video. I love pimento cheese. I just turned 56.
Enjoy!
Yeah well the Duke’s mayo!
It's popular down south.
Yum!
🙂👍
So good. The authentic recipe. No cream cheese!
Glad you like it! 🙂
This looks great! Will have to try it!
Will you be doing any kind of hammock camping or SUV camping? I miss those!
I made a camping video in June but haven't had a chance to go out again. Perhaps when the weather turns cooler.
Ken ,I use to make it all the time especially for my friends
It's so good. 🙂
Got hooked on pimento cheese sandwiches when I worked for a few months in Charleston, SC about 15 years ago. I like to put a dollop of pickle relish and some smoked paprika in mine. Also Duke's mayo, which I've recently been able to find here in Michigan. Cheers!
That sounds good! There are so many great ways to make it. Thanks for commenting!
Thank you for the easy recipe. I am going to try it. But I am allergic to milk. So with my non dairy cheese
Enjoy!
My mom loved pimento spread, Ken, where was your recipe all these years?! lol
Ha! Well... better late than never. 🙂
Great recipe. Love pimento cheese and love Dukes! Your mixing bowl caught my eye. Would you mind sharing where you found it?
It's a vintage Fire King bowl. @ Ken Click, Ken my Christian bretheren, outstanding recipe, depending on your region, Duke's, Hellmann's , & White Star are the best mayo's, better than miracle whip which is to sweet in my opinion,God bless you and yours
There are so many ways to tweak the flavor. It's just a matter of finding the one you like.
@@KenClick yes sir, that is a fact, I like that you used Duke's mayo, God bless you & yours
Ken, please tell me where I can get a large jumbo sized glass container for flour...like the one on your counter in this video.
Also, thanks for this pimento cheese video!
I don't remember where we purchased those. You might try ebay or Amazon has a 1 gallon size you might like: smile.amazon.com/MDLUU-Airtight-Canister-Storage-Container/dp/B08ZCKBWBP/ref=pd_bxgy_img_2/136-5442484-9872918?pd_rd_w=LHfXv&pf_rd_p=c64372fa-c41c-422e-990d-9e034f73989b&pf_rd_r=FJ9EK3HB3C7B29N59J40&pd_rd_r=6c44b296-efdf-4251-b502-0201c27c5dfe&pd_rd_wg=xKNkM&pd_rd_i=B08ZCKBWBP&psc=1
I made some with cream cheese and didnt like it. Yours looks good. I think I might add a few red pepper flakes. Yeah, gotta have black pepper. Definitely not diet friendly.
A little hot sauce is nice too. 🙂
Makes a good grilled cheese.
It does!
You could put it on sheetrock and it would still be good.
✅😋
Do you have a good recipe for a good Mexican rice? Just plan Mexican rice.
I have several rice recipes. Have a look through my channel. Thanks for watching.
Ken, I’m a new subscriber, love your cooking videos. I was wondering where your from, the reason I’m asking, I have Clicks on my dads side of my family. I’m in eastern Kentucky, who knows, we might be related.
I'm from Texas and my family is from the San Antonio area. Thanks for watching!
Dukes Mayo. The only Mayo I know of that doesn't have sugar in it.
👍
Need to grate block of cheese. Packaged cheese has a coating on it.
Thanks for watching.
I lowered our Tennessee state flag half-staff when I saw the pre-shredded cheese and drained pimentos.
Thanks for watching.
