I absolutely love the way you did this video!!

  • @HowardTibsTheThird

    I love these comparisons!

  • @TSpivey

Thanks for the time and effort in this video, great job

  • @driftlesshunter9200

    Awesome comparison! Thanks for sharing!

  • @evanborgerding4223

Do not confuse ryegrass with cereal rye. They are not the same. With that being said, if you see a seed blend with ryegrass in it, save your money. All ryegrass does is make your plot look pretty and green but has no food value to deer.

  • @trophyhunter8615

I really liked that experiment. Great job buddy. I’ve had to use rye before but it’s definitely last resort.

  • @Calebzimm69

Blessing and curse with the rye grass it’s a soil builder along with feeding deer late season here in PA I’ve had luck with rye and clover mixed I also had brassicas but they turned yellow my soil was deficient in certain nutrients I believe potassium which is very loose and free in the soil so it doesn’t stick well I established my first food-plot last summer and had great success in October I killed my biggest buck to date over rye and clover . this year I finally had enough time to work on the rest and got clover frost seeded and it some areas it’s doin fantastic others not so much I believe if I put in a cover crop like rye grass/grain it’ll help weed pressure and protect the clover I have there already so the deer don’t notice and let it reach maturity and have a good root base

That was a great comparison 👏 apple to apple no BS. I'm ordering some BS to put on a few small plots.

  • @james2982

Awesome content. Did you water the seeds in at all? planting a 1/4 acre food plot this year and this video helped a lot. Just ordered "green machine" from Domain because i have low PH soil. Thank you!

  • @dana44169

Liking all these food plot videos, what about trying out some plot max and jolt made by antler king

  • @courttruelock3638

What time of the year is best to plant this stuff? I’m game planning for next season.

  • @seanc77339

Great video!! You are not sponsored by a seed company right?? Unbiased?

  • @alexsander3188

Show parabéns vídeo top pena que aqui não temos nada disso aqui no Brasil e pessoas assalariadas como eu não temos condições de importar um forte abraço tmj 👍

  • @jeremysilcox9362

Great video man. I am going to use big sexy and hot chic in some of my plots. I also am doing some durana clover and balansa clover with oats, wheat, rye, and winter peas in my bigger plots.

  • @JustinMentionedIt

How long do they last if none of it was ate?

  • @tinfoiltim7593

What state are you in? If you don't mind? Just curious!

  • @bradcrouse9100

Never buy anything with Rye GRASS only rye GRAIN/cereal rye/winter rye. Anything with ryegrass is just a rip off

  • @anthonysantillo1358

    BS IS the BEST,,

  • @ralphbennett6698

You definitely are biased. That deer didn't eat either side of your experiment. She was more interested in everything around your plot. It's a bust, both products are trash 😂😂😂

  • @tompeacock6674

Rye grass is just cheap grass seed , deer will eat cereal grains rye winter wheat buckwheat oats etc
