To all my fellow knife nuts with sewing moms, mother in laws, and grannies... the clavi is the PERFECT pocket knife for a seamstress. that neadle point tip is perfect for ripping out seams and the size of the knife helps the old blue hairs not to have to squint as much. The green burlap seems to be made to be thrown into the knitting bag, loose fibers everywhere on the handle, it just looks like the tacticle fairy folk knitting knife for napping fae.

They all look great, but if the Mini Praxit came without a finger choil, I'd be on it. Just my preference. Liking the Clavi too, what a point.
I guess the Cachet is nice, but honestly I was more excited about the knife storage pouch.

Great vid you had here with these Civvi, that red and ivory baby banter really needs to be in my collection. Then you bring out that Clavi with that pointy slender tip and first thought was it would really help me in my carving then oh boy the Cachet I like that thing really really do, Civvi is hitting it out of the park right now!

I suppose if one must do a frame lock to keep it cheap, that cachet is at least the best way to do one. It should prevent the frame lock from messing up your detent strength and pocket clip operation.
Look up the car hart knife carrier bag or whatever it's called. It rolls up and will hold round 20 knives. I got 1 from a friend and love it

When I saw the thumbnail I was thinking oh, that's the Vosteed Thunderbird. I am severely jet lagged from a work trip but I feel that this mistake was justified. Hey man another great video! Did you realize that the pivot on your mini praxis isn't lined up? Those little tabs that keep the logo aligned could be a little better. I'm sure you can fix it!
I’ve been carrying the mini praxis now for about 3 weeks now. It was pretty nice from Factory. But after polishing the bearing track and detent path on the blade along with giving it a 17° edge, it’s astounding for $30. Completely fall shut and a laser beam of a blade.
Only thing I would change on the praxis is that huge choil. No way do I want to be squeezing on that thin blade stock when I’m having to bare down on it. If I move my hand back to the comfortable handle, now my sharp edge is like an inch away from my hand and I lose my leverage. But I still bought one anyway cus it’s so great otherwise.

Colored blades are not my type...they look like toys to me. I like the regular stainless blades.
Hey Beez, have you found any civivi/we knives that you've disassembled with a D pivot that you can remember or know of? Heard of quite a few complaints about the little tab they use. They are good about listening to their customers, so maybe if enough people reach out to them about it, they will start using the D pivots.

You asked if that knife was the craziest thing we’ve ever seen.NOPE! One time I was at this park in Ashland, Oregon and there used to be no laws against nudity downtown and so everyone’s in a while people would show up they’re naked in the park. And there were these two guys hanging out in the park and seem like they were brothers and everyone’s just hanging around talking and one of the brothers was laying down on the ground just kind of chilling and the other one walked up and just started peeing all over him in front of everybody. And everybody’s jaw just hit the ground and they’re all looking at them and somebody says what the hell are you doing and the guy that’s on the ground being peed on in public view for everyone to see says “oh it’s no big deal we do this all the time!” So that was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen! I think that beats the knife😂
